The Monthly Newsletter BHAVANS PEARL WISDOM SCHOOL MANAGED BY BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN MIDDLE EAST --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MESSAGE FROM THE DESK OF PRINCIPAL ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As we reach the end of this academic year under very different and unusual circumstances, we would like to appreciate our students and their parents who worked closely with our teachers and staff to ensure smooth conduct of online as well as face to face classes during this academic year. We really recognize and appreciate your patience, understanding and immense support you had offered during this pandemic. Our school commu- nity has done a wonderful job by supporting each other during this critical situation and hence we reach the end of the academic year with great deal of positivity and success. Even though COVID-19 had forced us to make many changes in our life, including the school life, we have a lot of accomplishments this year. One of the greatest achievements of this academic year is that we could secure Secondary school affiliation from the CBSE after a rigorous inspection process by a team of Inspection Committee members duly constituted by the CBSE and we have opened admission from KG to Grade 9 for the next academic year. In addition to this, we could organize a lot of virtual events including online/FTF classes, assemblies, CCA competitions and cele- brations, Annual day, Annual sports meet, KG convocation etc. We could successfully conduct the Internation- al Assessments from Grade 1 to 7 during this crisis. We truly could not have accomplished these without the support and dedication of our highly valued parents! As we did during this academic year, we will be making more qualitative changes in the academic and co-cur- ricular areas for the next year too. Curriculum will be rigorously reviewed and updated. School co-curricular activities will be revised and updated. The work of setting up of resource room for moving classes are active- ly going on and we will introduce this model of classes once we resume the normal operation of the school. A new set of experienced and well qualified teachers have been recruited for the next academic year. The work of setting up of theme based indoor play stations for KG kids are also in progress. Construction for the expansion of the campus will begin soon. Next year, too, you can expect International Assessment from KG to Grade 9. We will continue to give priority for safety of all our students, staff, and parents. In short, you can expect improved standards in the provision of education and all other aspects of the school life at BPWS, during the next academic year too. Dear Students, this year was an entirely different academic year with a unique educational experience for all of us. Covid-19 has taught us many things including to be responsible, empathetic and safe. We are really proud of you and your parents, especially for your regular attendance in online as well as FTF classes and also being the active part of our CCA events. When you go for spring break, always remember to read every day, and dedicate yourself in making next academic year even better. We wish all our beloved students and valued parents a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful spring break. We look forward to welcoming you all back for the exciting new Academic Year 2021-2022. Take care. Stay safe. Stay blessed. Dr K T Nandakumar (Principal) ISSUE : 08 FEBRUARY 2021 PAGE 1
