WAY TO GO! Graduation is a time to celebrate new beginnings and say goodbye to everything that has given you a reason to smile. It is the celebration of warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future. The Graduation Ceremony of the outgoing batch of academic year 2022-23 was organized in the school on 14 February 2023 in the school auditorium zealously. It commenced at 3-30 p.m. with academic procession followed by invocation and lamp lighting. Welcome address was proposed by Eliza followed by an address by the school Principal CKA Manaf. He congratulated the graduates and reminded the students about the importance of being valuable citizens. He also mentioned that they were lucky to be in such a prestigious institution. Ms. Smitha Vimal , the academic Coordinator addressed the gathering and shared dynamism and experience students achieved in the school for the past years which moulded the personality of the students at large. The graduating students were called onto the stage and awarded the special badges and handouts by the SLT members and teachers. It was a moment that really added charm to the atmosphere with a sense of achievement. Students were given chance to recollect and share their memories about the school and teachers. A video capturing the moments spent by Grade XII students added more essence to the whole event reminiscing their tenure in the school. Students cherished the moments through this soul-stirring video. Games and cultural programmes by students and teachers added spirit to the celebration. 20 FEB 2023,RAJAB 29, 1444 AH ZEST DAY - AN APPROACH TO INTEGRATED LEARNING In Oasis International School, the 16th February 2023 was observed as Zest Day , a day for keen enjoyment associated with intensive learning in collaboration with different departments. It was a day filled with fervor and excitement amidst thrills, shrills and cheers . Physical education and English, Robotics and Science, Mathematics and Arabic , Social Science and Wellbeing were the subject integration on this day which produced innovation and initiatives in the school at large. Litera Sports and Literana were conducted by the Department of English which were meant to stir the creativity, team spirit, leadership skills, presentation skills and motor skills. All the learning and sports activities were organized outside the classroom. Together with Math, the Department of Arabic organized a number of hands on learning tasks in the classroom which include Treasure Hunt, Arabic Word formation and Album creation , and Spinning Wheel and Calligraphy. Active involvement and the creative spirit of the students were seen in these activities. Department of SS and Well being conducted activities for supporting staff and drivers - We care . Certificates and mementos were given away honouring their contributions to the School. In addition, Map Game - Know Your Country was organized by the SS department across the cycles. Innovation and creative displays were organized by the Science Department which offered experiential learning to students. Wonderful display of Robots , making 3 D models were the bewitching sights to the onlookers in the exhibition.
