WOW, and you and your fur baby get to spend two nights! Did I hear you say, “tell me more”? DAY ONE Leaving Perth at 2:pm we travel to Hillside Country Retreat on the edge of York. Once you and your fur baby have got comfy and familiar with your stunning accommodation, you can either roam the gardens and outbuildings and ponder how it must have been in the day (this place is grand) or you and fido could take on a 2 km walk through the quality farming countryside. At 6:pm everyone’s on the bus and off to The Imperial Homestead Hotel for your evening meal. The nights are cold, enjoy reverse cycle or the wood fire to keep your room snuggly warm. A quick wee walk before bed gives you both the opportunity to stare in amazement at the vast sky, studded with a myriad of stars on crisp, cloudless nights. DAY TWO The crisp country air gives you both a boost of energy. A stroll as the fog is lifting, listen to the quiet and then the Kookaburra laughs. A continental breakfast awaits where you can choose delightful spreads and endless tea and coffee. 10:am when we head off on our adventure to the historic town of Beverly one of Western Australia’s oldest towns. Here you can visit The Dead Finish Museum and walk the Vincent Street Heritage walk. Lunch gives you the opportunity to sample the fresh local produce of your choice at one of Beverley’s café’s or hotels. After lunch we return to York where you have a couple of hours to simply appreciate the towns historic charm with a leisurely stroll along the terrace shops and historic points of interest. You will also get to walk the suspension bridge over the Avon River. Diner will be a catered meal back at Hillside Retreat. DAY THREE Having a check out of 10.30am incorporates breakfast and time your fury baby and you to enjoy the fresh fragrance of country air and a last look at that stunning scenery. With everyone buckled in we safely head off to Mt Brown lookout. This lookout offers 360 degree views of York and the surrounding countryside. Our last stop before heading back to Perth, is a visit to York Olive Oil Company.
