First Year Studio Creek Walk Project:The Creek Walk Project is a development plan aimed to improve anexisting creek walk that channels through the city of Syracuse, NewYork. I began by demolishing an old parking lot next to the city andthen split the creek into two waterways as it once was before manchannelized it. I then created a re-vegetated island park in the middleto create an escape from the surrounding urban city.

Second Year Urban Plaza Sketches:I used geometric islands of low ground cover and seated walls tocreate distinct rooms within a large space resulting in an urban plazain the city of Rochester, New York. In addition, I topped the space witha canopy for shade and relaxation of forest baiting within an urbanlandscape.

Third Year Studio :For this project, our task was to design a new walkway approaching theGateway building on campus. My design incorporated the same styleas the existing outdoor features of the building, to create one look andstyle to the overall experience. Using weathering steel weirs, as bio retention cells tocleanse runoff from campus, as well as separating pedestrians fromstreet traffic. The rusted color of the steal clashes beautifully with therich colors of the ornamental grasses surrounding, and matches thecolor and texture of the river birch tree bark on the other side of thegranite walkway. The simple but elegant look creates a rememberableexperience when arriving up the hill to campus, seamlessly adapting tothe style of the existing Gateway building.
Summer Internship 2018:These projects are from my summer 2018 internship with AraiysDesign, a landscape architecture firm in Southampton. I did a variety ofwork there on the residential spectrum, spanning from small details onCAD to re-vegetation plans to be passed by the Village of Southampton.
