To our parents, Firstly, we would like to thank our Lord and savior Jesus Christ for without Him we would not be here and this day would not be possible. We want to thank our parents for your love and support, your financial contributions and most importantly your prayers. We are so blessed to call you our parents. Secondly, we would like to thank you for all you’ve done throughout our lives. For all the times you wiped our noses and bandaged our cuts and scrapes, those times you were a shoulder to cry on or a toe that got stepped on. You have celebrated our sucess and helped us overcome our failures. Thank you for being our suport system, our encour- agement and for loving us through ups and downs. For being our mentors, teachers, friends and confi- dants. Thank you for the love and laughter you have helped contribute to our lives. You have helped make us who we are and for that we are forever grateful. Thank you for sheltering us, guiding us and preparing us for our lives together and our family to come. God has given us an incredible gift of love for one another, but that love would not exist, had you not loved does so well, first. Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it. ~ Proverbs 22:6
How we met Kismet at the Mailbox Jaime and Jeremy’s first meeting was one for chance. A week prior Jaime encountered a snake at her front door and was looking for help. She knocked on Jeremy’s door- her neighbor, and guess what- no answer. Jeremy wasn’t there but the snake was distracted giving her the opportunity to scurry into her own home. A week later, they met officially...At the mailbox. After a brief conversation, they would later learn that they both were intrigued and wanted to talk to the other a little more. Not knowing how the other felt at the time, they took the next step.
Jaime wrote her number and name on a pink card and placed it on his door with a simple message saying they should speak some time. Not even realizing that Jeremy had already knocked on her door - just missing her as she was preparing for a Sunday nap. Jaime and Jeremy had a natural progression after their meeting at the mailbox. Catching a glimpse of each other here and there and soon after daily appearances with one another. After a special night out planned by Jeremy, he gets down on one knee and says “the next time I’m down here I’ll be asking you to be my wife. But today, I want to know- will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?” With a simple yes and a kiss to seal the deal, their relationship was off to an official start- a mere 5 months after meeting at the mailbox.
How He asked: On April 3, 2018, Jaime planned a special birthday surprise for Jeremy complete with wine tasting, couple’s massages and dinner at Jeremy’s favorite restaurant. What she did not know was she would be the one surprised by night’s end. Jeremy: I knew that the ultimate birthday gift for me was to see the look on her face when I asked her to be my wife. But when I asked her, she just looked at me and said nothing...I MEAN NOTHING! I was thinking to myself, “I know she’s not going to say no ON MY BIRTHDAY.” I was so nervous, but I grabbed the ring got down on one knee and told her how much she means to me and asked her to be my wife. She said yes, and the restaurant cheered. *wipes sweat from brow* Jaime: Okay in my defense, it was your birthday and I was totally confused. Two servers brought out YOUR BIRTHDAY DESSERT. I kept thinking, “How many people does it take to do this? How heavy is this cake?” Then when they sat the cake in front of me, I thought, “It’s not MY birthday!” So, when I read the words “Will you marry me?” on the plate, I thought “Of course I will.” Unfortunately, it was only a thought. I will never forget the way you were looking at me and I couldn’t figure out why you had THAT look on your face. I am so glad you asked me, and I appreciate how selfless you were to make your special day, my special day too.
Jeremy Xavier Wright 5 Things about 1. I love to read about sports and the people who work in it I do extensive research everyday…I’m obsessed in a sense. (It’s all about the U) 2. I can watch the same movie over and over and over and over and act like it it’s the first time I’ve seen it....and you better not talk to me either lol 3. I always like to dress nice and I have great sense of style. Fashion inspires me. 4. What brings me joy is having the opportunity to spark and inspire the young generation everyday it keeps me humble and steadfast. 5. I absolutely love when my beautiful future wife Jaime scratches my back, I ask every day. Persistently. Jaime Nicole Henderson In her heart: Jeremy is like no one I have ever met and is truly a lover of people. He knows me so well I don’t even have to tell him when I am angry, upset or just down. More importantly, he knows how to love me and that makes me love him more. He supports me in every area and makes me feel like I can conquer the world. He accepts me for me but is not afraid to tell me if I need to do better. He is not only my love, but my best friend and he makes me a better person. We can go anywhere from the finest restaurant to just sit in the car and listen to music, but if we are together, we are happy. I am so thankful that God saw fit for me to meet my soulmate. I am literally marrying the boy next door...Mr. Wright.

I have a bachelor’s and Master’s in Mathematics and I’m also a hair stylist. They are so different, but passionate about them both. 4. Jeremy and I talk about “the tea” lol! And he probably knows your business . Don’t worry, he doesn’t judge. 5. I love working with my hands and creating. It makes me happy and brings me great joy to what’s in my head become reality.
