How to map network drives 1. If you don’t have the Cisco Webvpn client installed already, then open a browser and go to: https:\\\\webvpn.purdue.edu 2. Login with your career account username and BoilerKey passphrase. 3. Click on the link for AnyConnect VPN to install the application. 4. Once installed, you can then launch the Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client by opening your start menu, navigate to the Cisco folder, and then click on AnyConnect.
5. In the box, type webvpn.purdue.edu and click Connect 6. Enter your Purdue Career account username and BoilerKey passphrase. 7. Click on OK You will now be connected to the VPN 8. To map the drive, File Explorer (the yellow envelope icon at the bottom of your screen).
9. Right click on “My PC” and choose Map Network Drive.
10. Choose a letter that has not been used. I’m using Z in this example to map the Z drive to my personal Purdue documents. Enter the location of the folder you are trying to connect to. 11. IF you are at home on your PERSONAL PC, you will want to check the box to “Connect using different credentials.” You do not have to do this step if you are using a Purdue computer (one you log into with your career account) a. After you click finish, you will be prompted to enter your career account info if you checked the previous option. Enter your username beginning with “boilerad\\”. DO NOT CHECK THE OPTION TO REMEMBER MY CREDENTIALS!!!!!
