CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION 23rd December,2021
Christmas brings cheer and love and we celebrated it with the same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy among our children. The boundless joy of celebrating this festival was quite evident on the faces of each child. Children had great fun in their respective classes engaged in various activities like watching Christmas related videos, singing carols, craft activities and many more. Grade 1 students enjoyed making Reindeer Greeting for their loved ones and Grade 2 Students enjoyed making Santa Claus craft using paper plate and cotton. Virtual class party was the highlight of the celebrations.

Making Healthy Sprout Salad
Adjectives are words that are used to describe or modify nouns or pronouns. They are also known as \"Describing Words\". The students were asked to stick a picture of a noun in their scrap book and write as many adjectives they can for the picture. Scrapbook activities are always loved and enjoyed by the students. The students were surprised to discover that they could list down so many adjectives. This activity helped them to learn new adjectives and build the vocabulary skills.
Chapter : Multiplication Students enjoyed making bookmark for their textbook and wrote multiplication table on it. The idea was to recapitulate the tables they learned as a part of their curriculum. Learner’s outcome: Students learnt the steps to write the multiplication tables and understood that multiplication is repeated addition.
Students learnt basic mathematical operation of multiplication. They learnt how to multiply two-digit numbers with one digit number without carryover. For experiential learning they participated in ice-tray activity to reinforce the concept that Multiplication is repeated addition. They learned about grouping. They can now recognise and use arrays to represent multiplication. The activity helped students to understand the concept better and gave them confidence to play with various combinations.
Topic: Vegetable Printing Activity Chapter: Food from Plants. Students were asked to use pieces of potatoes and make a scenery by dipping them into paints. Learner’s outcome: Students discussed and learnt about the importance of eating vegetables for staying healthy. They also learnt that plants are an important source of food.
Chapter : Save water Students were asked to make a poster in their drawing/scrap book/A4 size paper on the topic – Save Water. : Students learnt the importance of water, simple ways of saving water and that water is precious for all living things.

OUR CELEBRATIONS SOCIAL STUDIES GRADE 1 Chapter: Our Celebrations Topic: Stick pictures of famous personalities with their names and birth dates. Students were asked to stick pictures of famous personalities with their names and birth dates in the scrap book for the chapter our celebrations. Learner Outcome: Students learnt about birth dates of different personalities and the joy, happiness while celebrating their birthday with family and friends.
OUR FESTIVALS SOCIAL STUDIES GRADE 1 Topic: Collage Making Activity Students were asked to make a collage in their drawing/scrap book/A4 size paper for the topic our festivals. : Students learnt the importance of festivals and how our festivals create a bond of love and respect for different cultures.
HEALTHY PALETTE Topic: Salad Making Activity. Chapter: Food we eat Students were asked to prepare a salad using vegetables and fruits of their choice, to create a delicious healthy palette for the topic food we eat. Learner outcome: Students learnt the benefits of eating vegetables and fruits. They also learnt the nutritional value of the fruits and vegetables and how important it is to include them in their diet to remain healthy.

ENGLISH \"RANDOLPH,THE REINDEER \" GRADE 2 Randolph,the Reindeer (Scrapbook Activity) Reindeer is a kind of deer which is found in subarctic regions of Eurasia and North America. They have huge branching antlers and are mostly used for drawing sledges. The students drew and coloured the picture of Reindeer and wrote two adjectives for the Reindeer. Further, they formed a sentence with one of the adjectives that they had written for the Reindeer. Learning Outcome The students realised that although the lessons appear different but the various concepts that they have learnt are related to each other. The topic 'Adjectives' was recapitulated.
– Students had fun creating different patterns with things available at home. They made their own designs and forms and repeated the sequence to create new patterns. - The students learned how to make different patterns.
GENERAL SCIENCE GRADE 2 Traffic lights are lights used to control the movement of traffic. They are placed at road intersections and crossings. Traffic lights change their colors in the same order every time. The different colors flashed by the traffic light tells the drivers what to do. Red light tells driver to stop the vehicle; Yellow light tells the driver to slow down, and green light tells the driver to start driving. - In this activity, students understood how important it is to follow the traffic lights and what each traffic light signifies.
– ‘‘ ಅರಿವೇ ಗುರು’’ - ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ವಿವಿಧ ವರ್ಣಮಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಕನನ ಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಕಲ್ಲಕೆ ಉತತ ಮಗೊಳ್ಳು ವುದು. ವಿದ್ಯಾ ರ್ಥಣಗಳ್ಳ ಸಾಕು ಪ್ರಾ ಣಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಡು ಪ್ರಾ ಣಿಗಳ ಚಿತಾ ಪಟವನ್ನನ ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಾ ಣಿಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ವೈವಿದಾ ತೆ,ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ತೆಯನ್ನನ ತಿಳಿಯುವರು ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಾ ಣಿಗಳ ಹೆಸರನ್ನನ ಕನನ ಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯುವುದರಿಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ರ್ಥಣಗಳ ಕನನ ಡ ಶಬದ ಭಂಡಾರ ವೃದಿ ಯಾಗುವುದು.
