Day 1Cochin - Munnar (150 kms/5 Hours) Drive from Cochin-Munnar.Munnar – is breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility – the idyllic touristdestination, set at an altitude of 6000 ft. Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhileBritish rulers in the colonial days. Unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys andmountains- exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests - aroma of spicescent its cool air. Upon arrival in Munnar check-in at hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explorethe city on your ownOvernight stay in Munnar

Day 2In Talayur BungalowThe day is at leisure to explore the city on your own or visit the Eravilkulum National Park .Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar

Nilgiri TahrDay 2 After breakfast, visit Rajamal, which is the tourism zone of Eravikulam National park and is aplace where you can see Nilgiri Tahr at close quarter, if you are lucky. Also feel the Kurinji andexperience the shola grassland eco system. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 Talayar Valley Bungalow activities are centered on the tea plantation. Here we offer apopular and unique ‘Tea Manufacturing Workshop.’ You will get this exciting opportunity tomanufacture your own tea in our mini tea factory. You will go through all the major steps that arerequired to produce tea. Just like a regular tea-plucker you will go out into the tea garden with abamboo tea basket fastened to your back. You will be shown a demonstration to help you pluck teathe correct way. Then the green tea leaves are brought to our mini factory. Here you will subjectyour tea to all the basic tea production processes like withering, cutting, tearing, curling,fermenting and drying. And finally, you also get to take your tea with you.

Afternoon you can drive to Chinnar, situated 1 hour from the Talyur to participate in the trekking.The guided trekking to the dry deciduous forests and through the riparian forest along the Chinnarriver, visit the archaeological remnants, the dolmens, and the sandal forests are all the moreexciting. The luxurious waterfall, spreading over about 100 meters wide will steal the hearts of all.Bird and butterfly watching are added advantages. There are chances of wild life sighting on theway”. Day 4 Enroute to Cochin, you could visit the Cheeyapara Waterfall and continue your drive toCochin for onward journey.

Option 2

Valparai is located 3,500 feet above sea level on the Anaimalai Hills range of the Western Ghats andis about 100 kilometres from Coimbatore. There are 40 hairpin bends on the way up to Valparai fromAzhiyar.

Arrive Valparai from Coimbatore 110 kms/ 3 hours of drive time. A haven fro trekkers and naturelovers to be in a pollution free atmosphere. Check into Hotel – Briar Bunglow Sirukundra or Monica.

Sirukundra means the formation of a cluster of small hills. These hills have an alluring presence, aestheticallyplaced by Mother Nature. You can spot plenty of rare flowers, luxurious greenery, butterflies and a large numberof birds. The elegantly furnished bungalow was built in 1917.You can enjoy the Swimming Pool, Trekking, and Bicycling

If you are adventurous you could do a day excursion to \"The Niagara of India“ situated about 80 kms (one way)from Valparai. The Athirappilly Falls is the largest waterfall in Kerala.

Option 3

Day1Arrive Cochin and the drive to Thekkady is enchanting as the road winds through tranquilcountryside, rich plantations & thick jungles. Thekkady is also considered a heaven fornatural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and clove. Upon arrival inPeriyar check-in at hotel. Boat ride at Lake Periyar for Game Viewing.

Thekkady is the location of the Periyar National Park (declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978). ThePeriyar Wildlife sanctuary is spread across 777 km², of which 360 km is thick evergreen forest. Thesplendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charmof the park. The greatest attraction of Periyar is the herds of wild elephants that come down to playin the lake.

Visit a Spice Garden/an Elephant ride or a bullock card ride around the estate. Participate in acooking demonstration. Overnight at Hotel

Day 2 Breakfast at the hotel drive to Kumarakom and check in at the. transfer down from the Ghatsto Kumarokam on the edge of Lake Vembanad in the heart of Kerala’s backwaters. Overnight atHotel.

Day 3 Kumarakom is a cluster of scenic islands around the picturesque Vembanad Lake. The townis nature rich with everything in it enjoying the gift of nature in its abundance. A day enjoying life inthe backwaters. Some of the places that you must visit include Kumarakom Bird Sanctury, 14 acrebird sanctuary is the favorite spot for migratory birds from all parts of the world. It is situated on thebanks of Vembanad Lake. The bird sanctuary houses a wide range of birds including cuckoo, waterduck, owl, kingfishers, woodpeckers and egret.

If interested you can also visit Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls, located 18 km from Kottayam. The over 100feet high water falls is a famous picnic spot. It falls in five steps and it is an ideal location to bephotographed. Located amidst rubber plantations, the wooden landscape and the streams flowingdown make the place one of the most picturesque waterfalls. If you love to trek, you can have a stillgreater time here. Yet another attraction here is the St. Mary’s Church, which is located at the topof Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls. Overnight at the hotel.

The Vembanad Lake, the largest backwater in Kerala, is also habitat for many marine andfreshwater fish species and it teems with Karimeen, Shrimp and Prawns. The gorgeous green of thefringed palms ripple in the blue waters and blend into wavelets. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4Kumarakom – Alleppey drive time (50 kms/Approx 1 hour and 20 mins)
