Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust ® was established in the year 1973. Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji (1945-2013) succeeded Sri Sri Sri Ramanandanath Mahaswamiji and inherited the Natha lineage on the auspicious day of 24th September 1974 at Nagamanagala Taluk, Mandya District, Karnataka, INDIA. This ancient Dharma Peetha has successfully preserved and propagated the Indian heritage through ages. Besides, the Mutt is striving for the welfare and betterment of the common people, particularly those of rural areas. Several Educational and Technical Institutions have been started in different places of the State including a Sanskrit College at Sri Kshetra. The service activities have increased many folds ever since the Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji became the head of the Mutt in 1974. Adhichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana at present is having twelve branches all over the State of Karnataka, in addition to the two Foundations abroad, i.e., one at Flint Michigan, USA, and another in Berlin, Germany. The trust is managed by a Board of Trustees and the Chairman of the Trust is the present Pontiff His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji. The Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust has established 485+ Educational institutions running mainly in Medical, Nursing, Engineering, Management, General Education, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Commerce, Natural Sciences, Primary & Higher Education etc., having the strength of more than 1,38,000+ students with 18,000+ faculties.

FOUNDER Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust ® Parama Poojya Jagadguru Byravaikya Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji assumed the holy chair of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math in 1974. Poojya Mahaswamiji was truly an enlightened soul. He treated all the people alike without discriminating on the basis of caste, creed, gender or social status. His approach towards handling different problems was truly scientific and logical. He implicitly understood the importance of education to the masses in alleviation of poverty. Poojya Mahaswamiji was a great visionary with a perfect blend of science and spirituality. He was primarily instrumental in establishing Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust that runs more than 500+ Educational institutions catering for about 130000 students across the country to impart quality education from primary to Professional Courses with a special focus on young people of semi-urban and rural areas. Mahaswamiji had a vision of serving the humanity in eight fold areas of Adhyathmika (Spirituality), Anna (Free Food), Akshara (Knowledge), Arogya (Health), Ashraya (Shelter), Anukampa (Helping Hands), Aranya (Afforestation), Akalu (Cattle Protection) was exemplary and noteworthy. He was rewarded and conferred with innumerable titles for his services in the field of Education, Health, Spiritual, Moral, Social, Cultural and Environmental activities. Most prominent among them are “Padma Bhushan, Doctor Honoris Causa, Saadhanaacharya, Akshaya Santha Sanatana, Dharmarathna, Seva Soorya, Vidya Samrat, Parisara Rathna, Abhinava Vivekananda, Rashtriya Ekatha Prashasthi” and so on.

President Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust ® 72nd Pontiff Parama Poojya Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji anointed as the 72nd Pontiff of Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math as successor to his Guru, Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji in the year 2013. Poojya Mahaswamiji, unlike many other youngsters, had an inclination towards Spirituality, Science and Service rather than Materialism. He adapted an ascetic life in 1998 and underwent formal training in the traditional knowledge systems. His unquenchable thirst for knowledge is evident from his attitude in conferences and functions wherein he listens to the discourses on Vedas, Upanishads and other Shastras like an eager young student. ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಿನಾಚರಣ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಪದ್ಮಭೂಷಣ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಡಾ.ಬಾಲಗಂಗಾಧರನಾಥ ಮಹಾಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಡಾ.ನಿರ್ಮಲಾನಂದನಾಥ ಮಹಾಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರ ದಿವ್ಯ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನವೆಂಬರ್ 13, 2021 ರಂದು ಪಾಂಚಜನ್ಯ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವೆಂದು ನವೆಂಬರ್ 1 ರಂದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಕಾರಿ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಅದ್ಭುತ ನೃತ್ಯ, ಗಾಯನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಹಸನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಪರಿಮಳವನ್ನು ಪಸರಿಸಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಮಂತ್ರಮುಗ್ಧರನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿತು. ನವೆಂಬರ್ 14, 1889 ರಂದು ಜನಿಸಿದ ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಜವಾಹರ್ ಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರು ಅವರ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಈ ದಿನದಂದು ವಿಶೇಷ ದಿನವವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಚಾಚಾ ನೆಹರು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಶಾಲಾ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ಎಂಪಿಎಸ್ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕುಸುಮಾ ಎನ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು ಶ್ರೀಗಂಧದ ನಾಡು, ಕರುನಾಡು, ಕನ್ನಡಾಂಭೆಯ ನಾಡು ಎಂಬೆಲ್ಲ ಹೆಸರುಗಳಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಚ್ಚಹಸುರಿನ ಸುಂದರ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳ ನದಿಗಳು ಹರಿಯುವ ಸಾಧು-ಸಂತರು-ದಾಸರು- ಶಿವಶರಣರು - ಕವಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರೇ ಒಂದು ಧೀಮಂತ ಶಕ್ತಿ. ನಾವು ಕೇವಲ ನವೆಂಬರ್ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಾಗದೇ, 'ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲೇ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಬರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನಿತ್ಯ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನೇ ಬಳಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಕನ್ನಡೇತರರಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಕನ್ನಡ ನುಡಿ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಪರಂಪರೆ ಉಳಿಸಲು ಸದಾ ಕಟಿಬದ್ಧರಾಗಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ' ಎಂದು ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡೋಣ ಎಂದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೋಷಕರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಶುದ್ಧ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಳಗೆ ದೇವರು ಇದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ದೇಶದ ಅಡಿಪಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಗಮನ, ಸರಿಯಾದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಳಜಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.







ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಬಳಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಯ ನಾಟಕ ಭಾಷೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಪೂರಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರಕ. ಭಾಷೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ವರ್ಣಮಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಧ್ವನಿಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಪದ, ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯವೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅದೊಂದು ಜನಾಂಗದ ಉಸಿರು, ಹೆಸರಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕವಿ ಕುವೆಂಪುರವರು “ಕನ್ನಡವೆಂದರೆ ಎದೆ ಕುಣಿದಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ಕಿವಿ ನೆಟ್ಟಗಾಗುತ್ತವೆ”ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭಾಷೆಯು ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ಕಲಿಕೆಯಷ್ಟೇ ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಭಾವನೆ, ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ಮೊದಲಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಯಾರಿಗೇ ಆಗಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಷ್ಟೇ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಇಂದು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಆಡಳಿತ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕೆನ್ನುವ ಏಕೀಕರಣದ ಮೂಲ ಅಂಶವನ್ನೇ ಮರೆತಿದೆ. ಇಂದು ಕನ್ನಡದ ಏಳಿಗೆ, ಉಳಿವಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದಂತಹ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿರುವುದು ದುರದೃಷ್ಟಕರ. ಇಂದು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳಿಸಲು ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಅಥವ ಬೇರೆ ಭಾಷೆ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ ಎಂಬುದು ಕಟು ವಾಸ್ತವ. ಹಾಗೆಂದು ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಕನ್ನಡತನವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಕನ್ನಡದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಲೋಕಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇತರೆ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯಬೇಕು. ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರಬೇಕು ಇತರ ಭಾಷೆಗಳು ಇರಬಾರದೆಂಬ ಧೋರಣೆ ಸರಿಯಾದುದಲ್ಲ. ವಿವಿಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅತಿಯಾದ ಅಭಿಮಾನ ತೋರಿಸಲು ಇತರ ಸೋದರ ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಮರ ಸಾರುವುದು ತಪ್ಪಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಭಾಷೆಯೊಂದು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕಲಿಯುವುದರಿಂದ, ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದರಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರತು ಭಾಷಾಭಿಮಾನದ ವೀರಾವೇಶದ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಉಗ್ರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳಿಂದಲ್ಲ. ಕೇವಲ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದಂದು ಉತ್ತಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯುಟ್ಟು ಬಾವುಟದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾಗಿದರೆ ಭಾಷಾಭಿಮಾನ ಮೂಡದು. ಭಾಷಾಭಿಮಾನ ಕೇವಲ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಅಥವಾ ಭಾಷಣದ ಸರಕಾಗಬಾರದು ಇವತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಸದೇ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಮುಂದೊಂದು ದಿನ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಬೊರ್ಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟು ದಪ್ಪ ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ಹಾಕಿದರೂ ಓದುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಜನ ಗತಿ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಳಸಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಉಳಿಸಿ

ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ದಿನಾಂಕ 30. 11 2021 ರಂದು ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಮಾಡೆಲ್ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ \"ಭಾಷಾ ಸಂಘ\"ದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 2:00 ಯಿಂದ 4.30 ರವರೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಂ.ಜಿ. ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರಯ್ಯ, ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು, ಶ್ರೀ ಕೊಂಗಾಡಿಯಪ್ಪ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ದೊಡ್ಡಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ವಿಕಸನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ, ಆದಿಚುಂಚನಗಿರಿ ಮಹಾಸಂಸ್ಥಾನ ಮಠ ಇವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಬೇಕು, ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು. ವಿಷಯ ಓದಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು, ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ”ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಡಾ.ಎ.ಟಿ. ಶಿವರಾಮು, ಡೀನ್, ಮಾನವಿಕಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಶಿಸ್ತು ಹಾಗೂ ನೈತಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಲೇಖನ, ಕಾವ್ಯ ರಚನೆಯಂಥ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಕೆ. ಶಿವಲಿಂಗಯ್ಯ, ಜಂಟಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ರವರು “ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಭಾಷಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಾಗಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನಾಡಗೀತೆ, ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು, ಕವನ ವಾಚನ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಯೋಗಾನಂದ, ಮಾಡೆಲ್ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕುಸುಮ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಮಾಡೆಲ್ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಬೋಧಕ, ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಾದ ಕು. ತ್ರಿಶಾಲ ಗೌಡ.ಆರ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು, ಕು. ಪ್ರೀತಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕು. ಪಾರ್ವತಿ. ಬಿ.ಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕು. ಯುಕ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.



Kanakadasa Jayanti Kanakadasa Jayanti was celebrated in Panchajanya Campus on Monday, 22nd November 2021 to pay tribute to the saint of the sixteenth century, Kanakadasa. Kanakadasa is a guru of all times, apart from being a renowned poet, he was also a philosopher, musician and composer from Karnataka. The program commenced by devoting Prayer by Kum. Panchami & Group, BGSMPS. Kum. Dhruthi T S, Student, BGSMPS welcomed the gathering and invited the dignitaries of the day to light the lamp to seek god’s blessings. Kum. Ashitha B K, Student, BGSMPS, Kum. Prakruthi, Student, BGS PU College and Kum. Gayathri R, Teacher Trainee, BGSCE delivered the speech on Great Saint, Warrior and Philosopher Kanakadasa. Kanakadasa Keerthane was sung by Kum. Niharika & Group, BGSMPS. Kum. Srilatha K C, Student, BGSMPS introduced the Guest of the Day Dr. C H Yatheshwara, HOD & Professor, Dept. of Kannada, A V K Women's College, Hassan. Dr. C H Yatheshwara in his address spoke about the works of Kanakadasa (Krithis and Poems). All his works deal with various aspects and moral values of life, social issues, devotional aspects, critics on social evils and caste system etc., He also sung Keerthanes of Kanakadasa and explained the meaning of the same. The classical dance performance was given by the Kum. Hemashree R & Group, BGSMPS.

Dr. A T Shivaramu, Dean of Humanities & Social Sciences, ACU, Principal, BGS College of Education and AO, SACST (R.) delivered the Presidential Address. In his address, he mentioned that Kanakadasa was famous for propagating philosophies, ideologies and thought-provoking ideas for the welfare of the human race. He also shared about the incident, that made Kanakadasa give up his profession as a warrior and devote himself to compose music, write literature and explain philosophy to the common man. He has sung the Keerthanes of Kanakadasa and explained the meaning of the same, with this he emphasized cultivating ethics and morals to live a meaningful life. Kum. Dhanyatha K R, Student, BGSMPS delivered a Vote of Thanks. Dr. K C Yogananda, Principal, BGS PU College, Smt. Socially Useful Productive Work To make our educational system more realistic and productive and to strengthen the link between Education and Productivity, the need was felt for the inclusion of work at all the stages of school Education. It was perceived that work Education can be made a powerful tool in the development of skills and values and thereby promoting self- reliance among students which would be helpful in accelerating the economic development of country through community service and social work. Visit to Dayabhavan In today’s world, it is very important to develop moral values, with the growing population, the number of orphaned and abandoned children has also increased. Today’s young generation should realize it and come forward for the betterment of these children. We believe that it’s our primary responsibility to educate the students about Empathy and to develop values like sharing and caring among students. Today our Students of Grade 10 visited Dayabhavan, a special home for abandoned children. When we entered the home, we were taken by surprise and warm welcome by the students than we had imagined. Students were educated about the organization and importance of rehabilitation centers. It was a life-changing emotional moment filled between students and those children. Altogether they were engaged in Dance, Singing and Antyakshari competition and shared the Sweets and Cakes. Books and Groceries were donated by our students. After visiting the special home our students felt the importance of appreciating the little things in life when you see people who don’t have them. Only at such times you tide over the insignificant and immaterial things and appreciate the bigger picture.



Library Committee National Library Week Every year, on account of National Library Week BGS Model Public School, celebrates week- long activities very connected to reading. Library week celebration is a boost to promote the reading habits among the students. A child's reading skills are important to their success in school as they will allow them to access the breadth of the curriculum and improve their communication and language skills. In addition, reading can be a fun and imaginative time for children, which opens doors to all kinds of new worlds for them. Books Reading session was conducted for the students and they were engaged in reading books of different geners. Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of the physical world. While competitions are the best way to boost the confidence in children. Keeping this in mind, a storytelling competition was conducted for Grades 07 and 08 Our main idea is simple: by learning to tell stories and make verbal presentations, children develop great oral communication skills and enrich their relationships with peer groups. Students narrated the stories from different genres with a moral. Master David Rayan of Grade 02 narrates the inspirational story \"तीन साधू\" in Hindi on account of National Library Week. The oratory and presentation skills of our dear students were notable! Scholastic Book Fairs serve to promote the habit of reading in school-going children. Book Exhibition was organized to provide an opportunity to build students’ home libraries, further their reading and comprehension skills, and often build knowledge and vocabulary critical for understanding the new subject matter. We wish to allow them to read by choice and not by compulsion! All these activities give them chance to put their reading and knowledge very creatively and in innovative ways. The whole week remains very active and full of enthusiasm and learning with various competitions, their preparation, and practice.



Dance Committee Dance Bonanza A platform to showcase your talents Dance is the conversation of the body with the soul. As an art form, it has been an integral part of Indian culture and heritage since ancient times. The diverse culture of the world, exquisite treasures a wide variety of dance forms that vary in style of different regions across the globe. It is rightly considered that Dance is one of the most captivating art forms and beautifully showcases self-expression. In a true sense, dance is not just a good form of exercise but is also a great source for boosting the creativity, imagination, confidence, and focus of young hearts. Therefore, the BGS Model Public School hosted an exciting Western Dance Competition on Tuesday, 23rd November 2021 by Dance Committee, students did not let the opportunity fly by & displayed their brilliant dancing skills. The competition began with great zest and excitement. The participants dressed in colorful costumes twirled around and set the stage on fire with their thrilling performance. In the solo dance Ganavi MR bagged the First Place, Prekshitha - Second Place, Ganavi - Third Place, in the Duet Dance – Yashwanth and Shameek bagged First Place, Vaibhav and Kruthi – Second Place, Ganavi & Shreelatha, Manya & Thisha – Third Place and in Group Dance First Place was bagged by Team Dancing Birds, Second Place by Chocolate Girls and Third Place for Six Dancing Girls. The judges congratulated the winners and appreciated the performance of all the children and also encouraged them to participate more in such competitions to enhance their talents.

Music Committee Melodious Moments Music Speaks when Words Can't Music binds our souls, hearts, and emotions. Music is the best method of relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. In fact, through singing children learn to express their feelings and ideas. To bring out the singing talent of the students “MelodiousMoments”, Singing Competition was organized on Friday, 26th Nov 2021 by Music Department, BGS ModelPublic School. Students from classes 1 to 10 participated in the competition. The theme of the competition was Bhajan for Grade 01 to Grade 05 and Devaranama for Grade 06 to Grade 10. The children sang the songs with a lot of passion, confidence and patriotic feeling. The melodious songs pulled the heartstrings of the listener. The competition was judged by Mr. Kashyap (Grade 01 & 02), Smt. Poornima (Grade 03 to 05), Smt. Hema B G (Grade 06 & 07) and Smt. Geetha GK (Grade 08 & 09). Manvith, Hemsagar, Ganavi MR and Anvi Jain bagged First Place, Charitharth, Adishree TP, Vidatri KR secured Second Place, Shravani, Parnitha NS, Upasana S Nanda, Hruthik, Niharika S, Chinmay B, Bhoomika and Chinmay TV secured Third Place. The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem, and self-confidence as a result of the competition. ಪಾಂಚಜನ್ಯ ಭಾಷಾ ಸಂಘ ಕನ್ನಡೋತ್ಸವ ನವೆಂಬರ್ ಬಂತೆಂದರೆ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಮನೆ-ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಎಲ್ಲೆ ಮೀರಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ನವಂಬರ್ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಆಚರಣೆ ಇಡೀ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಜರುಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಂತಿಮ ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಮಾಡಲ್ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಹಲವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವುಗಳೆಂದರೆ 6ರಿಂದ 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು ನುಡಿ ಕುರಿತು ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ , ಅಂದದ ಬರವಣಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. 28.10.021 ಈ ದಿನದಂದು 6ರಿಂದ 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು-ನುಡಿ ಕುರಿತ ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು . ಈ ಒಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಕಶ್ಯಪ್ ರವರು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು, ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಗಾಯತ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು .ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಾಡು-ನುಡಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡರು. ನಾಡು-ನುಡಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಮಾನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಆಶಯ ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾಯಿತು . 1.11.2021 ರಂದು ಒಂದರಿಂದ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅಂದದ ಬರವಣಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಲ್ಕರಿಂದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಈ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದಂದು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.





Arts Committee Diya Decoration & Painting “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time”. Fostering creativity won't just increase child's chances of becoming the next Picasso but also help them to develop mentally, socially, and emotionally. BGS Model Public School encourages their little artist to participate in the activities of the Art Club conducted on account of Kannada Rajostsava. Diya Painting art boosts young children's ability to analyze and manipulate a paintbrush and their fine motor skills will also improve. Students of Class-1 & 9 participated in making colorful Diyas. Colouring of Karnataka Map for Pre-Primary - Grade 03, Drawing & Colouring of Karnataka Map for Grade 04 - Grade 06 & Painting based on the theme \"Karnataka Tourism\" for Grade 08 - Grade 09 competition was conducted in order to encourage drawing and imaginative skills. 03 students from each grade have been selected for prizes in the competitions, 17 students won First Prize, 17 Students Second and 17 Students won the Third prize in Diya Painting Competition from Grade 01 - Grade 09. 07 students won First Prize, 07 Students Second and 07 Students won Third prize from Pre- Primary - Grade 03 secured First & Second Prize in Colouring of Karnataka Map competition. 05 students won First Prize, 05 Students Second and 05 Students won Third prize from Grade 04 - Grade 06 in Drawing & Colouring of Karnataka Map. 01 students won First Prize, 01 Students Second and 01 Students won Third prize from Grade 08 - Grade 09 in Painting based on the theme \"Karnataka Tourism\". These competitions helped them to showcase their talent & majority of students took part in the competitions voluntarily and gave their best. Children were very excited to show their creativity in their own way.



Arts Committee World AIDS Day Rock the Ribbon The red ribbon has become an internationally recognized symbol for AIDS awareness, worn by people throughout the year in support of people living with HIV and in remembrance of those who have died. On 1 December this year, people around the world will be pinning on their red ribbons as they commemorate World AIDS Day. We believe that World AIDS Day is an opportunity to show solidarity with the millions of people living with HIV worldwide. The red ribbon is the universal symbol of awareness and support for people living with HIV. Wearing a ribbon is a great way to raise awareness on and during the run-up to World AIDS Day.

The meeting was presided by Dr. A T Shivaramu, Administrative Officer, SACST(R.) and Smt. Kusuma. N, Principal BGSMPS chaired the meeting, Staff and Faculty of BGSMPS were present .
