Index Independence Day National Sports Day Teachers' Day Founders' Day Exam Mode Community Service Assemblies Competitions

Independence Day Independence Day is one of the most important days in the year for our country. Our nation celebrates its independence day every year on August 15. Being independent means we were at liberty to rule ourselves, and not subject to a government. In honor of this special day, our school hoisted the Indian flag. The young Turks also celebrated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav by singing the Indian National Anthem As India celebrated its 75th Independence day, Mr. Jyoti and Ms. Remya were chosen as one among the 75 exemplary teachers from the Indian Curriculum Schools in Dubai and Northern Emirates for their remarkable role in imparting quality education.

National Sports' day National Sports Day is celebrated on the 29th of August to honor the legacy of Major Dhyan Chand and acknowledge the importance of sports in our life. On This Day, students from different grades had various activities like flamingo balance, cycle activity, and many more... The students of 6A conducted an assembly as well.

Teachers' Day A day Just for teachers. and to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapali Radhakrishna, the first vice president of India. To celebrate this day the juniors and seniors hosted 3 assemblies with the help of the student council. On This Day, students of grades 1 & 2 made a video of dancing and singing fully dedicated to teaching, while grades 3-5 performed a skit and presented a ppt. grade 6-11 performed a skit, a mimicry, an interview and concluded the assembly with two beautiful songs leaving the teachers filled with utmost joy! Founders Day The Bhavanites hosted 3 special assemblies to celebrate the founding of Bhavans Middle east and birthday of the Chairman Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon The teachers and students performed a series of events like singing and dancing that the chairman commented as a 'wonderful performance' with gratitude.

Exam Mode Half Yearly Examination (for Grade 5 to 11) commenced on 19th September and ended on 06th October. It was a 3 hour examination of 80 marks and was conducted as a 40 marks MCQ and 40 marks descriptive. The students strove hard to attain good marks for the exams. The exams ended on the first Tuesday of October. Their tremendous efforts were shown in the big smiles of the teachers as they congratulate their students on completing their exams. Community Service Students of Grade 11 and 10 lead a Campus cleaning on 30th September. Students & teachers were allotted different areas of the campus. Garbage Bags and gloves to be distributed. Pick up trash, arrangement of flowerpots, etc.

Assemblies The students of 6C presented an assembly on Literacy day where they showed the importance of education in one's life. The class of Grade 1A conducted an informative assembly about African Culture. The children did an amazing dance performance and even made a simple dish with the help of their parents Hindi Diwas is a celebration of the Hindi language and its cultural heritage and values among the people of the country India and abroad. The students performed an entertaining skit and presented their artwork in the Assembly. Students of Grade 4A presented and explained the strategies of speaking. There was a video enlightening us on the different strategies of speaking. A student dressed up as willy Wonka and gave a good example of excellent speaking skills. An Entertaining skit was performed by the students.

Assemblies The Students of 7AB took us on a tour around a German museum and conveyed the essence of German Culture in a very entertaining skit The students of grade 4B brought awareness on the importance of keeping our environments clean and green. They talked about how preserving our habitats are very much crucial for survival and how we should make small steps ourselves in improving it. The Students of 4B took us on a tour around the capital city of India, Delhi, and conveyed the essence of Delhi Culture in very innovative ways

Competitions Cross Country Maths An Interschool Maths competition was conducted on the 25th of Sept for the students of Grade 3 to 5, called 'Cross Country Math'. Raman's and Ramanujan Maths Competition An Interschool Maths competition was conducted by International Indian School Abu Dhabi in the month of September for the students of Grade 1 to 9, called 'Raman's and Ramanujan Maths Competition'. The Sub-Senior Category, students had to create a parachute with different materials.
