भाइय -बहन ,िजस आ थक े म भारत कुछ कर नह ं सकता ह।ै इतना बड़ा देश, इतनी गर बी, ऐसी हालतम देश कैसे आगे बढ़ सकता है? उन हालात के बीच भी देश रा ता पार कर रहा है और आगेबढ़ रहा है और दु नया उसको वीकार करने लगी ह।ै व ान के े म भारत ने एक नईपहचान बनाई ह।ै हमार पहले पहचान थी - उप नषद क । भारत गौरव करता था उप नषद,उप नषद, उप नषद। अब दु नया के प ले तो पड़ता नह ं था। ले कन आज वह दशे उप नषद सेबढ़त-े बढ़ते उप ह क चचा करने लग गया है। उप ह क चचा।हमारे Mars Mission क सफलता... पूरे व व म भारत पहला दशे है जो पहले ह यास मMars Mission म सफल हो गया। दु नया के कई देश ने यास कए, ले कन अनके बार यास करने के बाद सफलता मल । भारत को first attempt... मेरा भी ऐसा ह हआु । य ? देश क सकं प शि त क ताकत दे खए, देश का साम य दे खए। और आज SpaceTechnology का उपयोग.. बहतु जमाने पहले हमारे यहां ववाद होता था, जब व म साराभाईवगैरह थे, भाभा थ,े तो भारत म चचा चलती थी क “हमारा गर ब दशे है और यह Space म या पड़ी है यार? यह इतने पये य खच कर रहे?हो। यह उप ह म नह ं जाओगे तो नह ंचलगे ा या?” यह बहतु चचा होती थी हमारे दशे म। ले कन आज वह उप ह देश के वकास मकाम आ रहे ह। कसान को मौसम क जानकार चा हए, तो वह उप ह देता ह।ै Fishermanका मछल पकड़ने के लए जाना ह,ै कहां जाना, कतनी दूर है, वो satellite बता देता है क भईउधर जाओ, माल मल जाएगा।म जब द ल म आया तो मने सरकार के अ धका रय से कहा क “भई, दे खए, जमाना बदलचकु ा है। हमने E-governance क तरफ जाना चा हए, Technology का भरपूर governanceम उपयोग होना चा हए। और मरे ा यह अनुभव रहा है, म बहतु ल बे अस तक एक रा य कामु यमं ी रहा। मेरा अनुभव रहा है क Technology, E-governance is effectivegovernance, E-governance is easy governance and E-governance is mosteconomic Governance.” तो म अपने अफसर के साथ बैठा था, मने कहा क “SpaceTechnology का या उपयोग करते हो?” तो यादातर अफसर ने कहा क नह .ं . “हम यादानह ं कर रहे ह वो Space वाले कर रहे ह।“ मने कहा क “भई नह ं Space वाले नह ं तमु भीकर सकते हो।“ म उसके पीछे लग गया। Space Technology वाल को बुलाया, हरेकDepartment से मी टगं करवाई, Workshop करवाएं, पीछे पड़ गया म।

और आज मझु े खुशी के साथ कहना है, हमारे यहां सरकार म कर ब-कर ब 170 कार केवभाग काम छोटे-मोटे ऐसे ह क िजसम भारत सरकार ने Space Technology का उपयोगकरना शु कर दया है। िजस कार से Technology ने पूरे जगत को एक नई शि त द है,नई दशा भी द है। और इसके लए हमने भी सपना सजं ोया है – Digital India.आज गर ब से गर ब यि त भी आपको मलगे ा। वो भी मोबाइल फोन रखता है। स जी बेचताहै, ले कन मोबाइल फोन रखता है। दूध बेचने जाता है मोबाइल फोन रखता ह।ै अखबार बचे नेजाता है, मोबाइल फोन रखता है। इतना penetration है Technology का। सरकार अगर उसकेसाथ जड़ु जाए, और इस लए हमारा मशन है जाम, JAM for all. म जब JAM theory कबात करता हंू तब J, A, M.\"J\" का मतलब है – जनधन बक अकाउंट। आपने म से जो मरे पीढ़ के ह गे, उ ह पता होगाक हमारे यहां बक का रा यकरण कया गया था 69 म.. बक का रा यकरण कया गयाथा 69, 70, 71 के आसपास। और यह कहा गया था क यह बक जो है वो अमीर के कामआते है, गर ब के काम नह ं आती है। इस लए बक को Nationalise कर दया जाए। और सारचीज सरकार ने अपने हाथ म ले ल और यह कह करके ल थी क ये बक गर ब के लए खोलद जाएगी।मझु े आज दुख के साथ कहना पड़ता है क जब म द ल आया तो हमने पाया क हमारे दशेके कर ब-कर ब आधे लोग ऐसे थे, िज ह ने बेचारे ने बक का दरवाजा नह ं देखा था। आज केयुग म Financial यव था क र ढ़ क ह डी के प म बक काम करती है और अगर मेरे देशके 50 तशत लोग बक यव था से अछूते रह जाए, तो फर आ थक यव था म उनकभागीदार कैसे बनगे ी?हमने बेड़ा उठाया क 100 दन म मझु े सबके बक के खाते खोलने है। अब आपको भी लगाहोगा क मोद जी को या हो गया है। जो काम 40 साल म नह ं हुआ, यह 100 दन म करनेनकल पड़ा ह।ै ले कन मेरे देशवा सय आपको जानकर के आनदं होगा आज उस अ भयान काप रणाम यह आया है 18 करोड़ नए बक खाते खुल गए। गर ब से गर ब का बक खाता खुलगया। और गर ब था, बक का खाता खोलना था, वो बेचारा पैसे कहां से लाएगा? तो हमने नयमबनाया क धानमं ी जनधन योजना म जो खाता खुलेगा, वो जीरो बैलस से भी उसका बकखाता खुलेगा। तो बक वाले मेरे से नाराज हो गए, बोले साहब stationery को तो खचा दे दो!मने कहा हमने 40 साल तक बहुत मौज क है। अब हम पसीना बहाना होगा। दे खए जीरोamount से bank account खोलना था, जीरो amount स।े ले कन मने गर ब क अमीर

दखे ी। अमीर क गर बी तो हम जानते ह, ले कन जब गर ब क अमीर दखे ते ह, तो सीना तनजाता ह।ै सरकार ने कहा था क जीरो amount से बक अकाउटं खुलगे ा, ले कन हमारे देश केगर ब ने 50 पया, 100 पया, 200 पया बचाया, और कर ब-कर ब 32 हजार करोड़ पयाबक म जमा करवाया।दे खए, देश के लोग का मजाज दे खए। गर ब से गर ब यि त भी देश के लए कछु करने केलए तयै ार हुआ ह।ै तो एक तो है यह जनधन अकाउंट जो “J” कहता हूं म िजसके वाराआ थक सुचा यव था खड़ी क गई।दसू रा है “A” - आधार काड। पूरे दशे म movement चला है क Biometric system से हरनाग रक का अपना एक Identity card हो, एक number हो, special number हो, ता कDuplicate न हो। वरना हमारे यहां या होता है? एक ह यि त दस जगह पर अलग-अलगनाम से पये लके र आ जाता है। हमने आधारकाड को क बंदू बनाया।और तीसरा है “M” – Mobile governance. मोबाइल फोन पर सरकार य न चले? नाग रकके हक मोबाइल फोन पर य available न ह ?तो हम JAM - उसको क म रखकर के जन सखु ाकार , जन सु वधाओं को ले करके आगे बढ़रहे ह। और उसका प रणाम दे खए!मुझे बताइये Corruption से दशे तबाह हआु है या नह ं हआु है? ... (हा!ँ )Corruption जाना चा हए क नह ं जाना चा हए? ... (हा!ँ )ले कन म अकले ा corruption न क ं , इससे बात बनगे ी या? ... (नह ं!)कछु और करना पड़गे ा ना? ... (हा!ँ )बोले बना भी होता है, चपु चाप भी होता है। म आपको उदाहरण देता हू।ं हमारे देश म घर मजो गैस सलडर होता है, वो गैस सलडर म सरकार सि सडी देती ह।ै एक-एक सलडर के पीछे150-200 पये कर ब क सि सडी जाती है सरकार क तजोर से, ता क आपका चू हा जल।ेऔर यह सि सडी अमीर से अमीर को भी मलती है और जो गर ब, िजसके घर म गैस सलडरहोगा, उसको भी मलती है। हमने तय कया क यह जो गैस सि सडी है, वो सीधी आधार काडके नंबर से तय करगे कौन-कौन उसके client सह ह। और उसका जनधन अकाउंट होगा तोउसके जनधन अकाउंट म सीधे पैसे पहुचं गे।पहले कर ब 19 करोड़ लोग को गैस सलडर जाता था। मतलब क सरकार तजोर से हरमह ना, 19 करोड़ गैस सलडर क सि सडी जाती थी। हमने जब आधार और जनधन अकाउटं

जोड़ करके हसाब शु कया क “भई लेना है तो इधर लखवाओ।“ मामला 13 करोड़ तकपहंचु ा। आगे कोई लने े वाला नकला ह नह ।ं पहले 19 करोड़ जाता था, अभी 13-14 करोड़ परअटक गया, तो पांच करोड़ कहां गए भई? वो पांच करोड़ सलडर क सि सडी कहां जाती थी?अगर म पुराने गैस के दाम के हसाब से गन,ूं आजकल तो दाम बहुत कम हो गए ह, ले कनपुराने हसाब से गनू तो 19 हजार करोड़ पये क चोर होती थी, 19 हजार करोड़ पये क !आज वो सारे पैसे हदं ु तान क तजोर म बच गए, मरे े दो तो। बचौ लए गए, दलाल गए, चोरकरने वाले गए - यह जो मेर JAM योजना है – जनधन, आधार, मोबाइल –मुझे बताइये Corruption गया क नह ं गया? ... (हा!ँ )बचो लए गए क नह ं गए? ... (हा!ँ ) पये बचे क नह ं बच?े ... (हा!ँ )ये पये गर ब के काम आएगं े क नह ं आएगं े? ... (हा!ँ )बदलाव कैसे आता है? इतना ह नह ं मने देशवा सय क ऐसे ह ाथना क , कोई यादाCampaign नह ं चलाया, ऐसे ह मने request क , मने कहा “इतना कमाते हो, उ योग है,कारखाने है, गाड़ी चलाते हो, यह सलडर क सि सडी य लेते हो? छोड़ दो यार।“ मने ऐसे हकह दया। ले कन दशे के लोग का भरोसा दे खए, भाईय बहन ! मनु य का वभाव है, मला तोकोई छोड़ने को तयै ार नह ं होता है - कतना ह बड़ा य न हो। ले कन आज म गव के साथकहता हंू, मेरे दशे वा सय का गुणगान करना चाहता हंू। 30 लाख लोग ऐसे नकल,े िज ह नेअपने गैस सलडर क सि सडी surrender कर द । आज के युग म 30 लाख लोग सामने सेvoluntarily लए अपनी सि सडी surrender कर, इससे बड़ी दशे क ताकत या हो सकती हैभाईय ? और इस लए म कहता हूं यह देश क वो ताकत है, िजसके भरोसे देश आगे बढ़ने वालाहै। िजसके भरोसे देश आगे बढ़ने वाला है!भाईय -बहन , युवाओं के लए Skill Development - हर हाथ म हनु र होना चा हए, इसका एकबड़ा अ भयान चलाया है। 800 million अगर नौजवान मरे े दशे म ह, तो उनके हाथ म हनु रहोना चा हए और वह हुनर आने वाले हंदु तान को बनाने वाला है। माताओ-ं बहन - उनकशि त रा के वकास म काम आए – “बेट बचाओ, बेट पढ़ाओ” - इसका एक आदं ोलन चलपड़ा ह।ै मरे े देश का कसान उसक पैदावार कैसे बढ़े? Soil Heath Card का म Technologyका आ ह हूं - Soil health card. हमारे दशे म शर र का भी Health Card नह ं होता है, मकसान क जमीन का Health Card नकालने म लगा हुआ ह।ंू ता क उसको पता चले कउसक जमीन म या ताकत है, या कमी है और या कर तो उसक जमीन ठ क होगी। औरवो कैसे यादा कमाई कर सक।े एक-एक ऐसे initiative लये ह।

अभी मने एक छोटा काम कया। कसान को यू रया क बहतु ज रत पड़ती ह।ै खते म यू रयाका उपयोग करते ह, और सरकार यू रया के लए सि सडी देती है। कर ब 80 हजार करोड़ पयासि सडी जाती है, ले कन उसम कसान के पास कतना जाता है, और कह ं और कतना जाता हैकोई हसाब ह नह ं है। तो हमने एक काम कया यू रया को Neem Coating कया - फर एकबार व ान, फर टे नोलॉजी, मुझे यह सझू ता है। Neem Coating कया। Neem Coatingकरने के बाद उस यू रया का उ योग खते के सवा कह ं और हो ह नह ं सकता ह।ै पहले यू रयाchemical factory म चला जाता था। म व वास से कहता हंू मरे े दो त , अगले साल जबहसाब नकलेगा फसल के बाद, हजार करोड़ पय क चोर बच गई होगी और मेरे कसान कोNeem Coating वाला यू रया मलगे ा, ता क उसक फसल को भी अ धक लाभ होगा। अलग कार के त व भी उसको ा त ह गे और उसको यू रया क आव यकता भी कम हो जाएगी।ऐसे अनके े म आज वकास क नई ऊंचाईय को पार करने का यास चल रहा है। अगर महर चीज यहां बताना शु क ंगा , और रोज अगर दो-दो घंटे बोल,ंू तो 15 दन तो कम से कमलगगे ह । और इस लए म आज थोड़ा आपको trailer दखाकर के जा रहा हं।ू आपको अदं ाजाआया होगा क दशे वकास क नई ऊचं ाईय को पार कर रहा ह।ै आज व व के सामने दो मखु चनु ौ तयां आई ह - एक तरफ आतकं वाद और दसू र तरफ लोबल वा मग। और ममानता हंू, इन चनु ौ तय को भी, अगर दु नया क मानव सवा धक शि तयां एक हो, मानवता मव वास करने वाले लोग एक हो, तो आतकं वाद को भी परा त कया जा सकता है और लोबलवा मग से भी दु नया को बचाया जा सकता ह,ै और उस रा ते पर हम चल सकते ह। उनचनु ौ तय को हमने वीकार कया है।भारत पूर तरह स ज है हर सकं ट का सामना करने के लए। और आज व व म हम जहां भीजाते ह इस वषय क गंभीरतापवू क चचा करते ह। हमने UN पर भी दबाव डाला। UN क 70वींवषगांठ मनाई जा रह है। ले कन अभी तक United Nations terrorism क definition नह ंकर पाया है। अगर definition करने म इतना व त लगेगा तो terrorism को नपटने मकतने साल लगग?े मने दु नया के सभी देश को च ी लखी ह।ै और मने कहा क समय कमागं है क UN यह तय कर क यह-यह चीज ह, िजसे हम terrorism कहते ह, य-े ये लोग हिजनक हम terrorism के मददगार मानते ह, ये-ये लोग ह िजनको हम मानवतावाद कहते ह,दु नया के सामने ये न शा clear होना चा हए – “कौन terrorist है? कौन मानवतावाद है? कौनterrorist के साथ खड़ा है? कौन मानवता के साथ खड़ा है?” ये व व म तय हो जाना चा हए।

और म आशा करता हंू, म आशा करता हूं क इतनी गंभीर सम या पर United Nations येgeneration अब बहुत दन टाल नह ं पाएगा। दु नया क मानवतावाद शि तय ने दबाव पैदाकरना पड़ेगा क एक बार Black and White म तय हो जाना चा हए क आतकं वाद आ खर है या? और ये प रभाषा न होने के कारण ये Good terrorism और bad terrorism चल रहाहै। ये good terrorism और bad terrorism से हम मानवता क र ा नह ं कर सकत।ेTerrorism, terrorism होता है! आतकं वाद, आतकं वाद होता है! और आज, आज आतकं वादमझु े याद ह,ै म ‘93 म यहां State Department के कछु लोग को मला था तो म उनकोसमझा रहा था हमारे देश म terrorism के कारण बड़ी परेशानी है, terrorist इस कार सेनद ष को मारते ह। तो वो मुझे समझा रहे थे ये terrorism नह ं है ये तो Law & orderproblem ह।ै मने कहा, “भाई यह terrorism है, ये Law & order problem नह ं है।“ तो वोसमझने को तयै ार नह ं। एक साल के बाद म फर आया, यहां तो उन लोग ने मेरे से समयमागं ा, हम आपसे मलना चाहते ह। मेरे लए भी बड़ा आ चय था य क म तो कुछ था नह ं,मलना चाहते थ,े मने कहा ठ क है मलग।े तो दसू र बार म आया तो मझु े पूछने लगे क येterrorism या होता है? मने कहा नह ं नह ं वो तो Law & order होता ह।ै नह , नह ं बोलेऐसा मत करो जरा हम समझाओ या होता है? मने कहा ये आपको म ान कहां से हआु ?आपको, आपको terrorism क चतं ा कसै े सताने लगी मुझे जरा बताइए। मने कहा मरे ा देश तो40 साल से terrorism के कारण परेशान ह।ै नद ष को मौत के घाट उतार दया जाता है, हमदु नया को समझा रहे ह। दु नया हमारे पर सवा लया नशान खड़ा कर रह ह।ै मने कहा येआपको म ान कहां से हआु और म ान इस लए हआु था क उसके कुछ मह ने पहलेयहां पे टॉक माकट म एक बम फटू ा था। उस बम क आवाज के कारण उनको पता चला कह दु तान म terrorism या होता है और तब जा करके terrorism को पहचानने के लए...।दु नया ने समझना पड़ेगा, कोई ये मत सोचो के आज उधर है तो कल हमारे यहां नह ं आएगा,ये दु नया के कसी भी कोने म जा सकता है और इसम मानवतावाद शि तय का एक होना,मानवतावाद शि तय ने आतकं वाद के खलाफ लड़ाई लड़ना, ये व व क मागं है और उस मागंको पूरा करने के लए हम तयै ार होना चा हए। और उस बात को ले करके म नकला हुआ हू।ंऔर ये UN क िज मेवार है, जब हम 70वीं वषगांठ मना रहे ह तो ये UN क िज मेवार हैक दु नया के सामने च प ट होना चा हए क UN कसको terrorist मानता है कसकोआतकं वाद मानता है और कसको मानवतावाद मानता ह।ै एक बार न शा साफ होना चा हएता क फर दु नया तय कर लेगी कस रा ते पर चलना है, और तभी दु नया म शां त आएगी।

And thank you to everyone here in Hacker Square, and in ourcommunity watching us live in India and around the world.You know, India is personally very important to the history of our company here.This is a story that I haven’t told publically and very few people know, but earlyon in our history - before things were really going well and we had hit a toughpatch and a lot of people wanted to buy Facebook and thought we should sell thecompany – I went and I saw one of my mentors, Steve Jobs. And he told me thatin order to reconnect with what I believed as the mission of the company, Ishould visit this temple that he had gone to in India early on in his evolution ofthinking about what he wanted Apple and his vision of the future to be.And so I went and I travelled for almost a month, and seeing the people, seeinghow people connected, and having the opportunity to feel how much better theworld could be if everyone had a stronger ability to connect, reinforced for me theimportance of what we were doing. And that is something that I’ve alwaysremembered over the last 10 years as we’ve built Facebook.We had a great conversation last year, in Delhi. And I am looking forward tohaving a conversation with you and our entire community about how you see thefuture of India and the world. When I think about the future, I’m personallyexcited about India for a number of reasons.First, one the greatest opportunities we have in the world today, is to connecteveryone to the Internet. think that social media and the internet would become an important tool forgoverning and citizen engagement and policy?Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi:जब मने सोशल मी डया को अपनाया तब मुझे हमालमू नह ं था क म कभी मु यमं ी बनूंगा, कभी धानमं ी बनूगं ा। तो मने ये तो सोचा नह ंथा क सोशल मी डया का मुझे governance म भी काम आ सकता ह।ै म जब सोशल मी डयासे जड़ु ा तो एक technology के त मेर curiosity रहती थी। मने दखे ा क म कताब के वारा दु नया को समझने क जो को शश कर रहा हंू, ले कन मनु य का वभाव है कtextbook के बजाए अगर guide मल जाए तो यादा अ छा लगता है, और guide से भीअगर कोई sure suggestions दे देता है तो अ छा लगता है। मेरे लए सोशल मी डया ने येकाम कया। मझु े बहुत क कम समय म दो-चार श द स,े मझु े िजन चीज क ज रत थी वोमल जाती थी।और दूसरा फायदा ये हआु क म बहुत यादा पढ़ा- लखा नह ं हं।ू बहुत मेरे पास वो सौभा यनह ं था क मुझे कोई यादा ान अिजत कर सकं।ू ले कन मेर उस कमी को सोशल मी डयाने भर दया। दो-चार श द से भी मेर दु नया चल जाती थी। और उसके कारण मरे thoughtprocess म बहतु बड़ा बदलाव आया। म जो कभी आस पास उस दु नया से ह सोचता था, एकपूरे व व के दायरे तक उसे छनू े का मझु े अवसर मला। म जड़ु ता चला गया। और जसै े-जसै े मजड़ु ता चला गया, दु नया ने भी, म जसै ा हंू वैसा, मझु े वीकारना शु कर दया। और इंसान केलए सबसे बड़ी खुशी क बात ये होती है क आप जसै े हो वैसे जब दु नया आपको वीकारकरती है तो उससे बड़ा आनदं का कोई अवसर नह ं होता। वरना या है, लोग कहते है “हा,ँ आपअ छे है ले कन ये होता तो अ छा होता, आप बहतु अ छे है ले कन थोड़ा ये..” सोशल मी डयाम वो problem ह नह ं है! आप जसै े है वैसे दु नया वीकार करती है आपको। उसे कोईQuestion नह ं होता है। और इससे आपका दायरा बहुत तजे ी से बढ़ता है। मने ये जो पहलेअनुभव कया, वो इस दायरे को बढ़ाने वाला अनुभव कया।जब म सरकार म आया तो तो मरे े सारे दरवाजे खुल गए। मने दखे ा... सरकार का एकproblem होता है। उसके और जनता के बीच एक बहतु बड़ा gap होता है, बहतु बड़ी खाई होतीह।ै और जब पता चलता है, पांच साल हो जाते ह चनु ाव आता है, रज ट आता है, तब पताचलता है क भई इतनी बड़ी gap थी। Social Media के कारण daily voting होता है। मअभी बात रहा हूं अभी voting चलता होगा क मोद ठ क कर रहा है गलत कर रहा ह।ैआज Social Media क ताकत है क कसी भी सरकार को - वो गलत करता है तो रोकता है,

गलत करने से डरता है, और गलती सुधारने का अवसर पहले पांच साल म एक बार चनु ाव केबाद होता था, आज हर 5 मनट के बाद होता है। म मानता हंू ये लोकतं क बहुत बड़ी ताकतबन गया है। और इस लए म सभी राजनेताओं से, दु नया के सभी राजनेताओं को - SocialMedia से भागने से कछु होने वाला नह ं है, आप जु ़डए, आप उसको जानने क को शशक िजए। अ छ सरकार तब चलती है, जब Information Channel बहतु ह आपके , और RealTime Information मलती हो।सरकार के पास पहले Mechanism था भी तो बड़ा slow था। कह ं पर कुछ हो जाता था तो24 घंटे के बाद जब Newspaper आता था तब पता था यार वहां कह ं हआु ह।ै आज 24 सके डम पता चलता है क दु नया के उस कोने म ऐसा हुआ ह।ै और इस लए Real TimeInformation के लए ये सबसे बड़ा Source है। और अगर Government जाग क है, सतकहै, conscious है तो Real Time Information से वो Corrective measures ले सकते ह,Policy Framework बना सकते ह और काम क ग त को बहतु बड़ा सकते ह। और उस अथम म दखे रहा हंू क Social Media ने Governance म बहुत बड़ा Role Play कया ह।ैआपने मुझे सवाल पूछा Diplomacy का। दे खए Diplomacy, पहले या होता था? But there is a perception that the pace of reformis slow. Ease of Doing Business के rating म भारत दु नया म 140 न बर पर खड़ाह।ै और जो रपोट देख करके सोचगे ा वो कभी भारत म आने के लए नह ं सोचगे ा। वाभा वकहै य क क पनी का जब बोड बैठता है, तो कागज ले के बैठता है वो कोई दखे ने के लए थोड़ा

ह आता है, जसै े क ये फसे बुक वाले Temple म आ गए। वो तो अपना बोड देखते ह। अब येMark क बात सनु करके लोग सोचगे यार कागज से नह ं, पहले एक बार जा करके देख ल।ले कन हमने तय कया क हम Ease of Doing Business करना है। मने सभी states कोOn-Board लया। We are a Federal Government, और यादातार हमारे यहां states केपास सबसे यादा Power है. उनको बुलाया, Ease of Doing Business के लए या- या कावट है उसक listing कया, और अभी World Bank ने rating कया म हरै ान था, म खुदहरै ान था, सभी रा य के बीच Ease of Doing Business का एक unprecedentedcompetition शु हुआ है। एक से दूसरा रा य आगे नकलना चाहता है। और Ease ofDoing Business म unprecedented achievement in last six months India नेachieve कर लया ह।ै आने वाले दन म जब National Rating आएगा, मुझे व वास है हम140 से काफ ऊपर चले जाएंग।ेकहने का ता पय है क सभं ावना है। दसू रा, “Make In India” क सफलता का रह य या है?दु नया का कोई भी यि त अपनी क पनी बंद करना नह ं चाहता है। Competitive World मवो खड़ा होना चाहता है। अगर Facebook के Headquarter को मान ल िजए 10 Millionपगार देना पड़ता है, लोग को हर मह ना, और वह काम भारत म 1 Million पगार से होता ह,ैतो आएगा क नह ं आएगा? आएगा क नह ं आएगा? तो low cost manufacturing,effective governance, skilled manpower, raw material and the biggest market inIndia, ये सार संभावनाएं ऐसी ह क जो Make in India के लए दु नया के कसी भीManufacturer के लए ये वग भू म ह।ैऔर उस अथ म म देखता हूं क “Make in India” के लए बहुत-बहुत सभं ावनाएं पड़ी हईु हऔर सफलता क ओर... आपने दखे ा होगा पछले 15 मह ने म अकेले अमे रका से ForeignDirect Investment म 87% growth है 87% ! One can imagine! FII म बहतु तजे ी सेgrowth हो रहा है। और Average, हमारे दशे का Foreign Direct Investment का growth40 percent हो गया है। जो क आज दु नया म जो recession है, दु नया के और दशे म 16percent minus है, whereas India 40 percent plus ह।ै ये बताता है क “Make inIndia” क सफलताएं इसके साथ जड़ु ी हुई ह। और म दखे रहा हूं क make in India सफलहोगा।दूसर बात है भारत के इन दन जो सु वधाएं है उसके comparison म दु नया के कसी केपास नह ं ह।ै हमारे पास 3-D है, और 3-D हमार unique strength है. Strength ऐसे नह ं -

it is a unique strength - Demographic Dividend, Democracy and Demand. 800million Population below 35 years ह।ै जो जवान दशे हो, vibrant democracy हो,vibrant judiciary हो vibrant media हो, Like-minded countries के लए ये एक बहुतबड़ी opportunity होती है democracy. health ले ल िजए, तो वहां ि थ त ऐसी है क Male के लए reservation करना पड़गे ा! अगरआप आज Education Field क meeting कर, 1000 लोग को बुलाए, तो 800 म हलाएंहोती है और 200 ह पु ष होते ह।ैइतनी बड़ी मा ा म पूर education activity आज ह दु तान म म हलाओं के हाथ म है।Health sector - आज अगर आप health sector क कोई conference कर ल िजए। आपकोबहुत बड़ी मा ा म health sector म - खास करके nursing म, paramedical staff म -पूरा control म हलाओं ने लया ह।ै पछले दन हमने नणय कया Police Department म,जो Union Territories है, जहां भारत सरकार नणय करती है वहां 30% Reservation forthe women police, हमने decide कया।भारत, आज भी दु नया के कई दशे है, आज भी दु नया के दशे है जहां कसी म हला को चनु ावजीतना आज भी मिु कल ह।ै बहतु ह पढ़े- लखे देश म भी भारत म electoral process म है,अनेक रा य ऐसे है क जहां local self-government म 50% women reservation है।अगर 100 लोग को body है तो compulsory 50 म हलाएं होगी, होगी, होगी। ये छोटा नणयनह ं है और Parliament assembly म भी उसके लए बहस चल रह है क वहां भी म हलाओंको… ता क Decision Making Process म उनक भागीदार हो। और म मानता हूं कWomen Empowerment म एक बात हमको achieve करनी होगी क Decision MakingProcess म Women का ह सा होना चा हए।सफ वो मकान बनाते है, तो द वार का कलर कैसा हो, यहां तक उसका सी मत role नह ं होनाचा हए, मकान कसै ा बने तब तक का उसका involvement होना चा हए। प रवार म भीEmpowerment होना चा हए। और इस दशा म, अब जसै े हमने एक अ भयान चलाया “बेटबचाओ, बेट पढ़ाओ।ं “ म जब गुजरात म था मु यमं ी, जनू मह ने म 45 ड ी temperatureगुजरात म होता है। म जनू मह ने म 12, 13, 14, 15 इन जनू के चार दन म खुद गांव चलाजाता था। गांव म रहता था, 45 ड ी temperature हुआ करता ह।ै हर घर जा करके कहताथा बेट को कू ल भिे जए, मझु े आपक बेट को पढ़ाना है और म 100% Girl ChildEducation को achieve करके रहा था। आज मरे को शश है Girl Child Education को“बेट बचाओ, बटे पढ़ाओ” एक बहुत बड़ा Movement Nation Wide चल रहा है और ऐसेअनके काम है।जसै े, सरकार क कोई scheme ह।ै सरकार क scheme म अगर हम गर ब को मकान दते े है।तो मरे े यहां compulsory है, वो मकान, सबसे पहले मा लक का नाम म हला का होगा

He explained why the world should be optimistic about India, and hisdream of making India a 20 trillion dollar economy. The Prime Ministerresponded to Mr. Mark Zuckerberg’s statement that Steve Jobs had asked himto visit a temple in India, to reconnect with his vision. He said this was aunique link between science and spirituality. He said that over the last 15months, the world had changed its attitude of looking at India.In response to a question on whether social media and the internet couldbecome a tool for governance and citizen engagement, he said social media hadenabled the Government to get real-time feedback on its actions.
