THE STORY OF A PEACE SUMMIT A very beautiful be-attitude that touched me was when one late night, Dr. Abraham Joseph, former Chief Senior Socio-Economic Advisor to the UN called me from Ubud, Bali, Indonesia informing me that Kochi was selected as the next venue in India to host the International Peace20 Youth Summit 2023 supporting the G20 Heads of State Summit presided by the Government of India in New Delhi. The Summit was to be hosted by the youth, for the youth, and of the youth exhorting G20 leaders, world leaders, and the UN Secretary-General that the youth does not want War, Conflicts, Tensions, violence, and non-Tolerance, but wanted Peace, Development, Harmony, and Prosperity in the World. To me, this call from Dr. Abraham was divine, a call and an invitation to do good and leave this world, as these were the last few words of my father to me before he passed away 24 years ago. When I see innocent youth taking away their lives after going into depression, hopelessness, and helplessness over their future, the need for Peace Making was very clear. The world needs today, love, joy, and peace above all, at all levels starting from children to the youth, families to the elderly, societies to states, and to nation-states. Peace in ACTION is the NEED of the HOUR. 12 \\ Small Enterprise \\ Jul 2023
