PAGE 02 BAYAN MUNA! Odes to Self and Country Abbie Abrasaldo

Kaya’t sarili’y pagbubutihin, Iintindihin, pauunlarin. Ubos-oras magsisikap, Kamitin mga pangarap. Kaya’t tatangaping buong buo Masakit mong yakap, Kahit ang matatalim mong kuko Bumaon man sa balat. Patuloy ang pagmamahal, Magbayad man ng mahal. Maligayang mamamatay Dahil at para sa’yo. Odes to Self and Country Mielben Legria
PAGE 06 O Aking Dala-dala O Ang bigat!
PAGE 07 Down the River The river's flow is bound to the mountain's ridge, Following the current that it was destined to pursue. Just as I see myself looking over society's bridge, My purpose is no less or greater than you. But I think at some point in life, An opportunity to be more than just a purpose arrives. From the tiny window opened up in times of strife, There’s a chance to be the point of difference in our lives. That window is my motivation to abide By my Filipino values, the citizen I want to be. I’ll rush down the river with pride, For this is my ode to myself and my country. Odes to Self and Country Pia Ruiz
