The course includesManual Access Render Safe (MARS) techniques including device stabilisation, diagnostics, x-ray interpretationand the management of Category A Task scenarios.Blow In Place Courses (BIP)In some operational theatres the scarcity of EOD teams often means search teams who locate potential IEDs, arethen fixed in place while waiting for an EOD response. This can cause the search team to be targeted. BIP trainingallows selected search team members to carry out controlled blow in place activity in order to rapidly removehazards and continue the momentum of the search.Bomb Search CoursesThe ability to effectively and efficiently search buildings, hotels, conference facilities, stadiums and other venuesto reduce the risk from IEDs requires a high level of training. We provide Bomb Search training at a number oflevels including Basic Searcher, Search Team Leader and Search Commander. We also have extensive experiencetraining searchers for high threat high assurance search operations including technical search activities.EOD/SWAT Tactical Integration CoursesRecent attacks highlight the need for tactical units such as SWAT to consider the integration of an EOD elementwithin their response capability. Our course trains EOD techs for their role within a tactical team as well as trainingthe tactical team to fully employ their EOD techs. The course covers dynamic “assault IEDD” techniques as wellas the challenging requirements of dealing with hostages in Category A situations.Home Made Explosives CoursesThe proliferation of home-made explosives (HME) with all the risks that entails means that EOD techs and firstresponders have to be fully aware of the additional hazards such materials present. This practical course dealswith the full range of HME employed by terrorist groups and covers precursors, manufacturing equipment andmethods, identification techniques, handling hazards and safe disposal techniques. Our team has been fully trainedand accredited by the original manufacturers of this equipment. Equipment training courses can focus on a singleitem of equipment or a complete team kit. As well as training on how the equipment works we also provide realisticoperational context as to how it might be used during an operation.EOD/IED Equipment Maintenance Training CoursesOur team of maintenance technicians have been fully trained and accredited by our equipment manufacturers tomaintain and repair the entire range of equipment that we sell. They also provide detailed maintenance training tomilitary and police to ensure they can keep essential equipment at a high state of readiness for operations.

Each exercise includes a realistic intelligence threat package, a real world “live” location for the exercise and a highly realistic, technically challenging device. Training Design and Development We are adept at taking operational requirements and turning them into effective, realistic and auditable training outcomes. Training Validation Training programs that are not regularly validated and reviewed can become stale and lose sight of their reason for existing as well as not keeping pace with changes to the threat or changes to EOD procedures. Our Instructor TeamOur team of instructors has extensive real world experience gained in operational theatres representing militaryand police agencies in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. Some of our instructors experience include:• Operational service in Iraq and Northern Ireland both as an EOD tech and as a member of a Weapons Intelligence Team.• Ex Senior Instructor at the UK IED School (The Felix Centre) and has led training teams carrying out Counter IED training in over 20 countries whilst in the military and as a civilian contractor.• Operational tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Northern Ireland having served in the British Army and the New Zealand Defence Force.• Significant experience of weapons intelligence activity having served in the Combined Explosive Exploitation Cells in Afghanistan and Iraq.• Ex member of the Australian Defence Force who has seen operational service in Afghanistan and Iraq.
