AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS FELICITATION OF HIGH ACHIEVERS (JEE ADVANCED -2022) \"Motivation is directly proportional to achievement. It energizes and directs efforts towards achievement. Thus, motivation is said to be determinant to academic success.\" To motivate, applaud and boost the morale of young achievers of success in IIT- JEE Advanced (2022),DPS, Udaipur organised a Felicitation Ceremony on (13/9/22) in the premises. The parents of Gandharva Chhipa, Sakshi Kothari and Parth Pratim Das felt highly honoured to be a part of this ceremony. They expressed their immense gratitude towards the School ProVice Chairman Mr. Govind Agarwal , the Principal Mr. Sanjay Narvaria and towards all the teachers for providing support at each and every phase of their children's academic journey. Gandharva and Sakshi felt delighted to share their success saga with the students of science stream. They enthusiastically addressed the curiosity & queries of students. They were felicitated with the grant of School Memento and a certificate. The School Principal and the HMs congratulated the students and wished them many more accomplishments in future. TRIUMPH IN NEET (UG) 2022 27 Dipsites of class 12 Science ( Biology), through their unstinted determination , persistent hard work and optimism were able to crack NEET( UG) -2022 organised by National Testing Agency ( NTA). The DPS Udaipur fraternity feels proud of for their splendid success in NEET( UG) - 2022. Khushboo Verma registered a phenomenal score of 622/ 720 and brought laurels to the school followed by Saindhavi with a decent score of 586/ 720,Sneha Bhosale scored 578/ 720 and Karan Sharda cracked the exam with a score of 561 / 720. The School ProVice Chairman Shree Govind Agarwal, Principal Mr. Sanjay Narvaria and the entire teaching fraternity congratulated the young prodigies and extended best wishes for their bright future. 1 | Page

WINNER IN THE STATE LEVEL DRAWING COMPETITION We, at Delhi Public School, Udaipur, firmly believe that determination and commitment bring accomplishment and success. Our students truly exhibit this belief by proving their mettle through their stupendous performances in various competitions. Adding one more jewel in the bounty of achievements, Suhasini Pandit of standard IV, an amazing painter and a multiple record holder has done the school proud by bagging first position at the state level drawing competition. She also holds Guinness World Record (as participant) for painting. She has to her credit a no. of records for painting including Kalams World Records, High Range Book of World Records, Marvelous Book of Records, Extraordinaire World Records and India Records. She has also won Abacus competitions at district and state levels. Kudos to the dazzling star of Delhi Public School for her meritorious achievements. VICTORY IN IIT-JEE (ADVANCED)-2022 Delhi Public School Udaipur feels extremely euphoric in sharing a phenomenal feat made by its student of session 2022, Gandharva Chippa cleared JEE ADVANCED. He has secured All India Rank 424 and has made DPS Udaipur once again prove its commitment made to all its stakeholders and the society. SIP SUPERKIDZ AWARD TO KARMANYA! Abacus based arithmetic functions increase focus and enhance the concentration levels in children. Dipsites have always been showcasing their potential in various fields through various ways. KARMANYA GUPTA from Delhi Public School, Udaipur, has won the prestigious SIP SUPERKIDZ AWARD 2022. With this award, a cash Prize of Rs. 10000 is given to him. This award is given to the most meritorious 12 students of SIP Abacus programme selected from all centres across India by considering performance in Abacus, other academic and non academic activities. DPS, Udaipur congratulated Karmanya on his achievement. HEADMASTER FELICITATED WITH DRONACHARYA AWARD 'Dronacharya Award' justifies the gratitude and honour shown towards teachers in recognition of their exemplary services to the student community. The School Headmaster, Mr Rajesh Dhabhai was conferred with Dronacharya Award in a ceremony organised by Arth Diagnostic Centre in collaboration with Radio-City.The felicitation was conducted on 25th September 2022 at MD Valley Resort. EVENTS & ACTIVITIES INTRA CLASS CLAY MODELLING Clay modelling is an activity that helps in the development of Pre primary students in several ways. It nurtures a child's creativity, boosts imagination and instills self confidence. By pressing, squeezing, poking and recyping the clay into different shapes, it improves a child's motor skills .Students of Pre primary participated in Intra class clay modelling competition on with great enthusiasm. PINK DAY CELEBRATION Pre Nursery class celebrated' Pink Day ' on 17th ,September '22 .It was wonderful to see little ones bloom and blossom in shades of pink. The children and their parents came dressed in pink colour. The venue was decorated with bunny masks and posters depicting the impact of pink colour in our lives. All participated in a variety of hands on activities related to the identification of pink colour. The aim of pink day celebration was to reinforce the concept of colour in children. EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP TO BIOLOGICAL PARK Children of Pre primary classes visited Biological Park on Wednesday 14th 2022 as a part of educational field trip. Children were thrilled to see so many wild animals and different kinds of plants. It was a learning experience for the children. 4 | Page

GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of lord Ganesha , the symbol of wisdom and remover of obstacles. The occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi students chanted shlokas , shared amazing facts about Ganesh Chaturthi and presented a group dance. Mothers also showcased their talents and did various acts. They did devotional solo and group dances . Children of classes Nursery and Prep did craft activities like decorating lord Ganesha 's face and creating Lord Ganesha from green leaves. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and students were beaming with joy . INTRA CLASS ENGLISH RECITATION COMPETITION To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students of pre primary an' Intra Class English Recitation Competition ' was organised in the school. Our cute little poets enjoyed the beauty of expression, thought, feeling, rhyme and the music of the words . The purpose of conducting such Competitions is to build self confidence, develop oratory skills and self expressions. 5 | Page

INTRA CLASS TERRACOTTA PAINTING COMPETITION Intra class Terracotta Painting competition was held for the students of Class I to V. The objective of this competition was to bring out the creative expressions & artistic skills of the students. Children painted colourful diyas, pots, piggi bank, hanging bells & Lanterns. The children showcased their creative skills in Painting and colouring and the result was amazing art work. This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation by all students EDUCATIONAL TRIP To gain awareness about birds and to evoke love and affection towards them, an outing was organized by DPS school, for Grade VI students, on Thursday ,1st September 2022 , to *Gulab Bagh Bird Sanctuary.* Children had a gala time watching the different species of birds. After enjoying their refreshment they boarded the school buses and returned back to school.They were filled to the brim with excitement. The outing was very effectual. TEACHERS' DAY EXTRAVAGANZA It means that a teacher in himself is a comprisal of all forms of Gods and that’s why a teacher’s place is considered above God in our society. Teacher’s day is celebrated in India every 5th of September to mark the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was the 2nd President of our country and a great teacher as well as a philosopher. This day is celebrated to remember the vital role of teachers in our society. It was a matter of great pride and celebration in Delhi Public School Udaipur when the members of newly elected Students' Council welcomed and startled the teachers with their wonderful preparations for the day despite having a holiday in the school. 6 | Page

Right from welcoming the teachers with tilak and presenting rose buds, the various cultural programs presented by the students were mesmerising. Be it speech, poem, skit or dance every programme was the manifesto of the fact how much students get influenced by their teachers in the course of their school life. It was a day well celebrated indeed. TEACHERS' DAY EXTRAVAGANZA To honour the teaching fraternity of the school and as part of Teachers' Day celebration, the school management and the administration hosted a recreation session followed by special dinner at hotel Brahma Niwas, Ambavgarh (Udaipur) for all the teachers. The games and the live music show added gaiety to the pompous celebration. 7 | Page

NATIONAL SPORTS DAY- SPECIAL ASSEMBLY Assembly on National Sports Day was conducted today in the assembly area by classes VIII-B & VIII-F. The day is also used to mark the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand. The Assembly started with prayer followed by other cultural dance performances, speeches, poems and slogans by the students. Prize distribution ceremony was conducted for the winners of IMO and NSO. Also Students were felicitated by the honorable Principal sir. Winners of a painting competition organised by SIP Abacus were also felicitated. Nishika of Class- II was declared as district winner in Category A. Purvish of Class- V won the district winner award in Category B. Shivika Choudhary-VIII-F bagged the district winner award in Category A. It's a matter of great honour and pleasure for DPS, Udaipur to proclaim that our honourable Principal sir was awarded by SIP Abacus. REFRESHING BREAK FOR SENIOR STUDENTS Picnics provide students with liveliness against dreary & monotonous daily routines.In order to help the students recreate and cherish joyous memories for a lifetime , DPS Udaipur had organised a picnic to Aaram Bagh for class 11 and 12 students on 1st September, 2022.The students thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing and rejuvenating outing with their teachers. 8 | Page

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION At school, birthday celebrations are one of the jovial ways of creating close bondings and positive experiences amongst colleagues. In order to show their love and respect towards the school headmistress, Ms.Shalini Singh, the staff celebrated her birthday and extended their best wishes on 3rd September 2022 in the school premises. SCHOLASTIC INITIATIVES BOARDERS' VISIT TO PAINTING EXHIBITION Visits to exhibitions serve as good learning experience and trigger positive thought process and creativity in students. The school boarding house students visited a drawing and painting exhibition put up by students of Kendriya Vidyalaya . INTER DPS QUIZ The inter DPS quiz is a significant competition conducted by the DPS Society every year. The preliminary round for junior group and senior group of the quiz was conducted on 2nd September 2022 for the interested students. Selection of the participants was done on the basis of marks obtained and personal interview . Finally, two students from Junior group Ayeesha Bhagla and Yana Jain are selected.And for the senior group, Nuh Chakkiwala and Rajat Taya have been selected .TheJunior group is being guided for the quiz by Ms. Prerna Asolia and senior group is being guided by Ms. Ritu Karir. The first round of quiz will be conducted on 4th of November 2022. THE THINQ QUIZ BY INDIAN NAVY The Thinq Quiz being organized under the aegis of The Indian Navy has invited over 7500 schools from across the country, to commemorate the glorious journey of 75 years of independence of our great Nation. The Te am DPS wishes both of them success for the final round which will be hosted at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. KUDOS TO BUDDING WRITERS Kudos to Budding Writers ,NUH CHAKKIWALA and RAGHAVENDRA SAINI* It is said \"Quiet people have loudest minds\" The adage stands true for the budding writers , Nuh chakkiwala of class 11 science of DPS Udaipur and Raghvendra Saini. The diligent dipsites have astounded everyone by the publish of their book \"Adventure Awaits\"* which has a lucrative content for readers who love thrilling adventures. The School Principal, Mr. Sanjay Narvaria highly praised their talent and their capability of having a perfect balance between academics & passion pursuit. The DPS Udaipur family congratulated them for their new venture and wished them the very best for their next adventurous writing endeavour. WINNER CATC CAMP The NCC cadets of Delhi Public School, Udaipur with ANO, Mr. Nasir Suhail Khan under guidance of Camp commander Mr.Rajendra Kumar of 1 Raj Naval unit, attended CATC camp at Janardan Rai Nagar, University, Dabok where they practised many skills like drill,sports, rifle shooting, adventure activities and witnessed cultural programmes like group dance and song. DPS Udaipur secured the first position in Drawing competition and the first position in Tug-of-war competition and bagged second position in solo song competition. EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO BIRD SANCTUARY An educational trip to 'Gulab Bagh Bird Sanctuary ' was conducted for Pre Primary students on September, 28th , 2022 to expose the children to the world of amazing birds and vegetation .They saw variety of birds and were fascinated by the beauty of the nature. It was an enriching and learning experience for the students. The students enthusiastically observed the majestic birds like Macaws, emus, ostriches, parakeets , red finch ,ducks pelicans and many more. It was a day well spent which has given our students wonderful memories. 10 | Page

HALF YEARLY EXAMINATION Excellence in education and fostering the love of learning is the hallmark of “DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, UDAIPUR ” The Half Yearly Examination for class I to 10 and the Periodic Tests for senior classes have been successfully conducted. The beginning of this academic year was no less than a challenge but the teachers continued their good work with full zeal and enthusiasm. Classes had been conducted before the examinations. GENERAL STAFF MEETING A general Staff Meeting was organised and conducted by the School Principal before the onset of half yearly examinations. The agenda related to blue print, sample paper making, question paper making, invigilation duties and guidelines for proper assessment and many points related to code of conduct were discussed. INTERHOUSE HINDI DEBATE COMPETITION The debate competition on the topic \"पाश्चात्य ससं ्कृ ति के अधं ानकु रण से भारिीय ससं ्कृ ति व जीवन मूल्यों का ह्रास हुआ है\" was organised for the students of classes 11th and 12th on 30th September 2022 in the school ampitheatre. The students from all the four houses participated enthusiastically and presented their views in favour and against the motion. The interjectors made the discussion healthy and interesting by putting valuable questions to the speakers. The judges for this competition were Headmaster Mr. Rajesh Dhabhai and Headmistress Ms. Shalini Singh. The program was conducted by Jai Bohara and Sana of class 11. Satluj House got the first house position and also the best speaker in both the categories for the motion and against the motion. Ravi House secured the second position and also won the best interjector award. Chenab House bagged the third position in the competition. Counseling with motivation provided to senior students acts as a big boon as they need advice to not only perform well in board examination but also be responsible and resourceful members of the society. Understanding the intricacy of human behaviour on per student basis, is really a challenging task. One such effort was made at DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL UDAIPUR where a counselling session for the students of class 11 and 12 was conducted by the School Principal, Mr. Sanjay Narvaria. The core issues addressed were, discipline, exam anxiety & overcoming fear,dedication towards academics, etc. The Principal stressed on the need for having self-awareness and awareness for society. He emphasised upon having an attitude and focus that makes their parents, their school and the society feel proud of them. BOARDERS' RECREATIONAL DAY -OUT The most awaited outing for the boarding house students was the picnic organised for them on 6 th September 2022. They started at 8.30 am in the morning after saying their prayer and with a feeling of a great day ahead. The students were extremely excited and kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue. A delicious breakfast was followed by a tour of the resort wherein the students were excited and shook their legs to the thumping dance numbers which were played near the pool. They even created a few crazy steps and the teachers too joined the fun. All the students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. Indeed, it was a day full of gaiety and mirth for all the boarding house students. 12 | Page

PTM FOR SCHOOL BOARDERS. PTM encourages a close link between the parents, teachers and the students. It builds a strong working relationship and it plays a very significant role in boarders' academic journey. A PTM for our school boarding house students was organized to discuss their academic performance, strengths and areas where extra efforts were required. CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL ACTIVITIES REPORT SESSION 2022-23 BOOSTING CONFIDENCE THROUGH FINGERPLAY A Fingerplay is a series of hand, finger or arm movement to depict the character or images according to the rhymes. These help in promoting fine and gross motor skills encouraging Language development and improving social skills amongst children. To make learning fun ,frolic, joyful and interesting, an Intra class Fingerplay Competition was organised.Students were eagerly waiting to hear their classmates perform. Ms Sanjivini Singh narrated a story with a message ‘Care and Respect your friends’. ‘GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATION’ To strengthen the bond chain of love the students of CAIE at Delhi Public School Udaipur along with respected grandparents, celebrated ‘Grandparents Day’. The guests were welcomed by our Principal sir and Headmistress ma'am .They shared their views and blessed the students with their words of wisdom.Various activities and games were organised by the teachers wherein the grandparents showed their enthusiasm.
