AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS AIR-1 IN THE CBSE NATIONAL SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP 2022-23 Dipsite Eshica Ramsnehi of class 11 Science has secured AIR -1in the CBSE National Swimming Championship 2022-23 held at Genius School, Rajkot.She proudly bagged a gold medal in 50m breast stroke & a silver medal in 100m breast stroke in the said tournament held from 20th- 24th January,2023.Eshica has always been a child of great focus and determination. The School Principal Mr. Sanjay Narvaria congratulated her & the proud parents for this splendid achievement.The entire DPS family wishes Eshica immense success in life. DIPSITES SET A NEW BENCHMARK IN BADMINTON AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL The students of DPS Udaipur viz.*Kunal Choudhary, Lakshay Chawat, Yug Kalal and Aditya Mehta* won gold medal through their splendid performance at the National Badminton Tournament organised by the CBSE. Through this marvelous achievement, they have brought laurels to their school, their teachers, parents and to their State Rajasthan . The School Principal, Mr. Sanjay Narvaria feels immense delight in sharing that this year DPS Udaipur has won maximum accolades in sports at the State and the National level and these meritorious dipsites possess the capability and commitment to represent India in near future.The sports mentor, Mr Anand kanungo shared that in this match (individual category)played between Sangam Lukhmiram Public School,Assam and DPS Udaipur, Kunal Choudhary grabbed victory by beating his opponent with scores 15:10,10:15,16:14. In the doubles, Kunal Choudhary and Lakshay with scores 15:10, 15:12 won the Under- 17 CBSE Badminton Championship and bagged gold medal with number one position.In the same sequence ,Lakshya registered victory over his opponent Mayukh from DPS Bangalore and won bronze. The School ProVice Chairman Shri Govind Agarwal, VP Ms.Shalini Singh and HM.Mr.Rajesh Dhabhai congratulated the sports prodigies and their parents for giving all a reason to rejoice .
DIPSITES ISHAAN AND VISHESH :CLAT TOPPERS FROM UDAIPUR Year 2023 has been bountiful for DPS Udaipur as it has brought many laurels to its scholars. Ishaan Tripathi ( class 12 Commerce) and Vishesh Khanna of class 12 (Humanities stream) have brought laurels by being the toppers from Udaipur in CLAT- 2023. Ishaan has bagged AIR 45 in AILET and AIR 87 in CLAT. ISHAAN VISHESH TRIPATHI KHANNA Vishesh has bagged AIR-1587 through his hard work and determination.The School Principal and the entire teaching fraternity congratulated them and their parents for these marvelous triumphs. NATIONAL CHILDREN SCIENCE CONGRESS Innovators of DPS Udaipur Shine at District and state level 30th NCSC 2022 \"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but innovative imagination \" This adage justifies the keen eye for imagination and innovative thinking of Dipsites who have bagged laurels in the NATIONAL CHILDREN SCIENCE CONGRESS , one of the flagship programmes of Dept. of Science and technology, Govt of India. This Congress aims to motivate students in the age group of 10 to 17 years to become future innovators and critical thinkers and kindles curiosity among the children, providing them opportunity to unfold their creativity. The programme is catalysed and supported by National Council for Science & Technology Communication, Govt. of India. This year 30th NCSC was conducted with the Major theme 'Understanding Ecosystem for health and well being. It is a proud moment for DPS, Udaipur as all its three teams of the school proved their mettle at the district level in 30th NCSC 2022. In the senior group, Vedansh Sharma and Shambhavi Singh under the guidance of Mrs Rajani Batra presented their idea of \"Boosting body's self healing mechanism to foster well being. In the Junior group, Simran Yadav and Manyata Kumawat under the mentorship of Mrs. Rimi Nadi, highlighted their topic \"Impact of Medical technology on Ecosystem\". Another project in the junior Category was Automated plant nutrition system designed by Chaitanya Yogesh Gavli and Zawiya Kazmi under the mentorship of Mrs. Anshu kalra. It's a matter of great pride that Chaitanya Yogesh Gawli's project AUTOMATED PLANT NUTRITION SYSTEM was appreciated a lot at the state level NCSC held at Kota on 19th January and has been selected for participation at National level. VICTORY ETCHED BY DIPSITES IN NATIONAL AEROBICS TOURNAMENT DPS Udaipur teaches its scholars to believe in their potential and to not stop until they have achieved a marvelous feat.A team of seven agile and energetic Dipsites viz.Chinmay Choudhary, Khushi Joshi,Daksh Talreja,Naisha Chhabra,Bhargavi Kothari,Dhruvi Jinger and Lavanya Mehrotra under the expert mentorship of Mr. Someshwar Mali awestruck everyone by their talent.They bagged AIR -3 and made their school proud by winning Bronze medal in the National Aerobics Tournament. The School ProVice Chairman Shri Govind Agarwal, the Principal Mr Sanjay Narvaria,Vice Principal,Ms. Shalini Singh and HM Mr.Rajesh Dhabhai congratulated the team and their parents. DIPSITES REGISTER TRIUMPH IN DISTRICT ATHLETICS. Winning after strenuous efforts is truly exhilarating.Dipsites had put in lot of grit and determination besides practice in order to win medals at the 66 th District Athletics Championship organised by Witty International School at Bhopal Nobles Stadium, Udaipur. Abhinandan won silver in 100m race , Lavanya won bronze in 200m race , the team of boys won silver in 4x100m relay race.The School Management and the School Principal congratulated the sports stars and wished them luck for future endeavours.
EVENTS & ACTIVITIES IGNITING SPARK OF PATRIOTISM IN DIPSITES The 74th Republic day celebration took place with great patriotic fervor and zest in Delhi Public School. The Chief Guest Dr. A k Sacheti and the Guests of Honour, Mr. Deepak Agarwal, Shri Mihir Soni, Shri Mahendra Singh Rawal and Smt. Mani Agarwal were given a warm welcome as they were escorted by a troop of Dipsites on roller skates. The National Flag was unfurled followed by a march past led by NCC cadets and scouts. The school Pro. Vice Chairman Shri Govind Agarwal extended a very warm welcome to the guests by presenting souvenirs to them .He motivated students to be enlightened citizens of the country and contribute to nation's progress. The school Principal through his enriching words narrated to the students the history and the significance of Republic Day and aroused a sense of pride in them for their motherland. The mesmerizing and eye- catching performances stole the heart of all spectators . The school also observed its Annual Sports Meet wherein the students displayed their vigour ,agility and team- spirit through various athletic events. Amidst loud cheers, the winners of various events and inter house competitions received medals & certificates.Zenith of ecstasy was felt when the students who have created history by winning sports events at the national level were applauded through the grant of scholarships by the school .The words by the Chief Guest\" It is participation that makes all the difference.....\" ,left a deep motivating imprint on the mind of all participants . The grand event culminated with a vote of thanks proposed by the HM, Mr Rajesh Dhabhai to all the guests and the gathering. All in all, it was indeed a thrilling experience for children and their parents.
PARAAKRAM DIVAS \"One individual may die for an idea, but that idea will, after his death, incarnate itself in thousand lives\". India is regarded as the land of warriors and revolutionaries. The history of India has some shining names that will be twinkleing like stars till the future generations. many among them have greatly contributed in making India an independent nation. there are some days allocated for the celebration of the events that remained us of the contribution of our national heroes. On 25th January 2023 on we remember them by celebrating Paraakram Divas and Veer Bal Divas. The assembly was conducted by the students of class 1 starting with vande mataram followed by the prayer, word of the day, thought of the day, speech and news and poems were recited. Views were expressed on Veer Bal Divas as well by the students. The assembly was addressed by the Vice Principal Ms. Shalini Singh . The winners were felicitated by the Vice Principal ma'am in different competitions. COMMITMENT TO SAVE NATURE Participation in Udaipur Bird Festival is an endeavour wherein every year DPS Udaipur motivates students to be a part of in order to save nature and its valuable components. A total of 47 students from classes VI to XI, escorted by three teachers - Ms Rimi Nandi , Mr Suhail Khan and Mr Vishnu Shankar Paliwal, were provided platform to participate in Udaipur Bird Festival, 2023 - Nature Quiz and Spot Painting Competition on 20 th January 2023. This event was organised by Forest Department and World Wildlife for Nature, Udaipur at Golden Park ( Pichhola, Kalka Mata Nursery). Carol Choudhary of class VIII bagged the 2nd position in On the spot Painting competition. This was a great opportunity to instill value of respecting nature and wild life.
‘LITTLE SCIENTIST’ COMPETITION 'Great scientific minds are shaped early by unforgettable experiences .... and some miracle moments.' Little dipsites got a platform to explore their innovation and creativity through' Little Scientist Competition' held on 21st January 2023 at pre primary section ,Delhi Public School, Udaipur . Students showed some wonderful and astonishing experiments. Some of them were related to hydro energy, rain cloud, Newton's Law of Motion ,volcano, lava lamp, milk experiments and many other intriguing experiments were conducted by our young scientists. The competition created the aura of innovation and fostered creative thinking WORLD LAUGHTER DAY \"No matter how many tensions surround us but we can always keep them at bay by sharing good laughs.\" Class Assembly was conducted by II D on the topic \"World Laughter Day.\" The students were acknowledged about the importance of laughter in their life. The assembly began with Vande Matram followed by prayer, Pledge,thought,vocabulary words, speech,poem in Hindi and English. Vice Principal Ms. Shalini Singh felicitated the students of various competitions. It concluded with a vote of thanks and National Anthem. SCHOOL TOUR DEFINING ECSTASY , EXCITEMENT & ELATION DPS Udaipur gave the exciting and recreational break to the students of classes 6 to 9 by organising a tour to Ooty, Mysore and Bangalore.This gave students an opportunity to explore the natural beauty, rich culture, and historical significance of these cities. A total of 203 students in four different groups escorted by teachers along with tour escort set off by air to Ooty , a hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. The students were able to experience the cool climate and lush greenery of the area. They visited the Botanical Garden followed by visit to Doddabetta peak. In the evening students explored the local market of Ooty.The excitement of the students knew no bound when they reached Ooty lake and shooting point which offered a scenic view of the surrounding hills and valleys along with rides.The visit to tea factory was a learning experience and.In the evening they enjoyed the bonfire and dance party.Next day ,they visited the Mysore Palace and St. Philimenas church which are an architectural masterpiece and symbol of the city's rich history. They also visited the famous Brindavan Garden, which is a
popular tourist attraction known for its beautiful terraced gardens and fountains.Finally, the students visited Bangalore, known for its vibrant culture and historical significance. They visited Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace and Science Museum. Overall, the tour made them cherish memories for lifetime. PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA( PPC-2023) A total of 1493 Dipsites and all teachers teaching in Delhi Public School Udaipur were exposed to a live online insightful discussion, Pariksha Pe Charcha, an event that aimed at promoting stress free learning.Our Honorable Prime Minister , Shri Narendra Modi addressed the students from Talkatora Stadium ,New Delhi, on a number of issues related to stress management career selection and mental fitness. It was an enriching session for the students of classes 6 to 12 to witness and learn significant life lessons.
SAYONARA Set your goals high and always dream big because you are only as big as the dreams you dare to live.\" With hearty wishes, a resplendent farewell party was organised for the outgoing batch of class 12 in DPS Udaipur premises on 28 January 2023. The programme commenced at 4:00 p.m. with a special welcome given to all the outgoing batch by their juniors of class 11.After auspicious lamp lighting, the stage was taken over by the cultural performances by the students of class 11. The dance numbers presented on the stage mesmerized all and set the mood for cherishing memories . The students of class 12 were then felicitated and wished good luck by presenting mementos. The melodious song by the group of juniors also captivated the audience along with the orchestra presentation which compelled the spectators to tap their feet. The School Principal ,Mr. Sanjay Narvaria blessed the students and wished them good luck for their board exams. The Vice Principal Ms.Shalini Singh and the HM Mr. Rajesh Dhabhai also wished immense happiness and success to students as they embark on a new journey of their life.The major attraction was the titles..Suyash Singh Panwar and Suryodita Tak were declared as Mr. and Ms. DPS respectively.Children tried their best to capture memorable moments by clicking pictures with their teachers and friends. After dinner everybody dispersed with sweet memories of this day.
WEBINARS CAMBRIDGE LED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT HRD Centre, Delhi Public School Society conducted an online programme of 2 days, January 11th and 12th 2023, for Cambridge Led Professional Development. Ms. MariyaKagzi was privileged to participate in these enriching sessions. It was conducted by Mr. Steve Burnage, international education consultant, inspector and author along with Ms. Linn Whyte, Education lear ning consultant and Sally Burbeary, ESOL tutor. On the first day of training, after the ice breaking session, the theory of Active learning was enforced. Different methods including social constructivism, scaffolding, Blooms Taxonomy were explained in detail. Planning for effective learning and teaching methods were introduced. Practical tips to implement active learning were also discussed. Different methods of Assessment were explained. On the next day, the Cambridge pathway was discussed. Inclusive classroom techniques were taught in which a number of teaching approaches that address the need of students with a variety of backgrounds, learning styles and abilities were put forward. The session was an enriching one and the practical techniques that were suggested will prove to be very helpful in improving the teaching learning process in the classroom. LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP A training session was conducted from 27th January to 29th January at National Learning Institute Mavli Udaipur by CBSE with collaboration with British Council. The topic was ‘Progression in Core skills training’. Ms. Mariya Kagzi was privileged to attend this 3day workshop. This project aims to support teachers, school leaders and policy makers to think about how to build progression into the core skills as they are taught. The core skills are powerful in helping to ensure that children and young people are set up to succeed. It was an enriching workshop.
