Hand sculptured fused glass panels and individual photographs are incorporated along the display of acrylic and aluminum donor plates of varying sizes. Smaller donors are listed on changeable acetate columns sandwiched between acrylic. The entire display is mounted on an acrylic background cut to the outline of the design. Individual satin aluminum letters title the wall. Shaped Acrylic Panels Donor names and graphics are printed on white removable paper arranged between clear acrylic panels. The back panels have printed green graphics printed on the face. Satin aluminum accent bars flow through the design. Founding Donors Inscribed acrylic panels float above a graphic image printed on acrylic. Maple veneer curves frame the panels. Satin brass letters title the wall. 4

Castings Portrait Techniques Portraits of people, places or events can be incorporated onto cast plaques using numerous techniques. The method selected depends upon the quality of the artwork or photograph, the budget and the preferred aesthetics of the plaque. Bas-Relief Our sculptors model clay; a sand mold is made; a cast metal version is produced; the bas-relief portrait is hand finished. Etched Line Art A line drawing is produced from a high quality photograph; the image is acid etched into metal; the incised lines are color filled; the metal is sanded and lacquered. Photo Reproduction A metal plate is exposed using a film negative produced from a photograph; the photograph becomes a permanent black image on the metal. Photocast A photograph or drawing is turned into a low relief image; cast in bronze or aluminum; oxidized and hand finished.
