MenjelaEhAaTInNTeGmOpUatT Menarik Food Review Looking for a Casual French dining experience!!! Look no further as our food review team indulged in the fantastic dinner experience of Topshelf Restaurant@TTDI. Located at Lorong Rahim Kajai 13, the restaurant is run by Managing Partner Hairenna Othman and Chef Patron Christopher Yee. With their combine experience, Topshelf has been serving Casual French dishes for almost 2 years. Chef Christopher and Hairenna started us off with Moules Marinierre which is mussels cooked in white wine, Escargot au beurre – baked snails with butter and herbs, Salad Nicoise a lovely dish of fresh greens served with tomatoes, quail eggs and tuna. We then was served our main course Beef Bourguinon which is a slow cooked beef in red wine served with mash potatoes and vegetables, lastly we had the Confit de canard which is the star of the meal. This dish is a duck confit served with fondant potatoes with long beans and salad. For our dessert, we had Malibu Parfait and their famous Crème Brulee. We recommend anyone who is looking for French cuisine or wanting to try something different, do visit Topshelf Restaurant@TTDI I’m sure you will walk away satisfied. Food Review EATING OUT Samplings on the Fourteen is a fine dining fusion outlet initially set up by Berjaya University College of Hospitality. During daytime, it functions as a training platform for the students and before night falls, the renowned Chef Val and his team takes over the limelight. This restaurant is a perfect place for a quiet dining getaway with breathtaking, unparalleled views of the city. The ambiance is posh-looking and dimly lit. The best venue for romantic dates. Couples, do check out the window seats which are over-looking the magnificent KL view. Their a la carte menu consists of western classic fine dining cuisine that covers all 7 courses - To Begin’, ‘To Warm’, ‘To Grain’, ‘To Fish’, ‘To Meat’, ‘To Grill’ and ‘To Finish’. Reasons to choose malaysia as healthcare destination HEALTH & BAUTY Malaysia has been one of the most viable options for those seeking health care in recent years. Based on quality and affordability of medical care as well as receptiveness to foreign investment, Malaysia is ranked third behind Panama which managed to clinch the top spot and Brazil at number 2. Over the years, the number of foreigners seeking healthcare services in Malaysia has grown from 75,210 patients in 2001 to 296,687 in 2006. In 2006 alone, RM203.66 million in revenue was generated. The technology of medical care in Malaysia has improved drastically over the years with up to date equipment on par with developed countries such as United States of America and United Kingdom. The standard of quality and services by those in the industry also has been improved to meet the standards of international health care. Doctors in Malaysia are well trained with a huge number of them being trained in renowned institutions overseas. Due to the intense competition between health care institutions prices have been very affordable. In fact, the overall rates are very much cheaper as compared to other countries. Regardless, Malaysia is still able to provide good quality service equally as well as developed countries. Besides that, the varieties of packages are also there to give value added service to patients seeking to kill two birds with one stone. One main key point as to why Malaysia will always remain a favourite is also because of our multi cultural society. MalaysiaisgenerallyaMuslimcountry. Therefore, halalfood and services are widely available throughout the country, thus allowing Muslim patients to travel here with ease. Furthermore, in Malaysia, unlike most countries in the region, hospitals and health care institutions here are mostly privatised. This in turn, gives an upper hand as compared to other countries. The quality and standards of services here are quality assured and premium without waiting lists. 123

MenjeHlEaAhLaTnHTe&mBpAaUtTMYenarik DENTAL Today, people are combining a holiday to Malaysia with affordable dental care due to prices being too out of reach of many in European and North American countries. Malaysia is a multiethnic nation which offers dental surgeries and English-speaking dentists, well-qualified to cater to all of your dental needs, cosmetic or otherwise. The neighboring countries of Malaysia, too, offer dental treatments but Malaysia is nevertheless a regional leader in dental surgery due to numerous clinics here that provides dental care tailored to international patients. Although its main appeal is the affordable prices, Malaysia offers modern clinics, latest treatments and up-to-date equipment. Kuala Lumpur is the hub of dental care in Malaysia where hundreds of dentists practice, but clinics serving dental tourists are also available in most major holiday destinations such as Penang and Melaka. Since most dental procedures have a short recovery period, tourists can combine the treatment with a holiday in this multicultural country. Many dental clinics in Malaysia also help dental tourists with their travel plans including flights, airport pickups, sightseeing and accommodation. The appointments can be arranged around their vacation to suit their needs. Malaysia is the ideal destination for dental tourism in Asia. 124
