The highway runs from the Bukit Raja town in Klang to Jalan Duta in Kuala Lumpur. One of the most extensively used expressways in the Klang Valley region is the 35-kilometer 22-mile expressway. The primary destina- tions are Setia Alam, Shah Alam, Subang, Damansara, Subang Jaya, Kota Damansara and Bukit Lanjan. South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) The Kemuning Interchange and its interchange with the Persiaran Kota Kemuning and Shah Alam Expressway E5 are where the expressway starts. This 51.7 kilometre dual-carriageway then travels via the Jalan Bukit Kemuning Interchange, a toll plaza near Taman Sri Muda, and the Alam Impian Interchange. To reach Section 24, the expressway crosses the Klang River bridge. The primary destinations are Kajang, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Bandar Saujana Putra, Teluk Intan and Pulau Indah. Damansara - Puchong Expressway (LDP) The Damansara-Puchong Expressway, also known as the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong, or LDP, is a significant ex- pressway in Klang Valley that connects important townships in Damansara and Puchong and reduces travel time between them. The 40 kilometer highway connects to other express- ways in the Klang Valley, including the Federal Highway, the Puchong-Sungai Besi Highway, the New Pantai Expressway (NPE), the Sprint Expressway, the Sungai Buloh Highway, and the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2. (MRR2). Shah Alam Highway (KESAS) The Shah Alam Highway -- also referred to as KESAS Highway or Lebuhraya Shah Alam -- is a 34.5 kilometre Klang Valley highway that extends from Kilometre 18 near the Pandama- ran Interchange in Klang, Selangor all the way to Sri Petaling in Kuala Lumpur. Following behind the Federal Highway and the New Klang Valley Expressway, this expressway is the third east-west oriented expressway in the Klang Valley. In fact, it is even deemed to be a suitable, more convenient option in comparison to the congested Federal Highway. This express- way is also a part of the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (also known as MRR2) Scheme. The 37-kilometer (23-mile) road with a three-lane dual carriageway would allow traffic to avoid Kajang's town centre. It may also be used as Kajang's major ring road. Cheras - Kajang Expressway The Cheras - Kajang Expressway also known as Grand Saga Expressway is an 11.5-kilometer controlled-access expressway in Peninsular Malaysia's Klang Valley. It runs between the Kuala Lumpur to Selangor border suburb of Cheras and the town of Kajang. The toll rate is free for motorcycles and bicycles. The fare starts from RM0.70 to RM2.60 depending on the types of vehicle. The primary destinations are Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Cheras, Kajang, Semenyih, and Seremban. 7

Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH) T R AV E L T I P S https://www.prolintas.com. Stretched across an estimated 7.9 km, this highway essentially connects Ampang in Selangor to Kuala Lumpur as a means to minimise the heavy traffic jams that typically occur in Jalan Ampang and to ease access to the city centre. The starting point begins eastward from Jalan Sultan Ismail to the riverbanks of Sungai Klang and Sungai Ampang. It ultimately completes at Taman Ampang Utama in Ampang. It also provides a three-lane carriageway in each direction -- this includes the Jalan Sultan Ismail interchange to Dato’ Keramat interchange. Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway (LKSA) https://www.prolintas. The Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway, or Lebuhraya Kemuning- com.my/lksa/ Shah Alam, LKSA, is a Klang Valley highway that extends from the Shah Alam Expressway's Kemuning Interchange at Kota Kemuning here to Federal Highway Route 2 Interchange also known as Bulatan Darul Ehsan Interchange near Shah Alam. The Kemuning Interchange and its interchange with the Persiaran Kota Kemuning and Shah Alam Expressway E5 are where the expressway starts. The highway then travels via the Jalan Bukit Kemuning Interchange, a toll plaza near Taman Sri Muda, and the Alam Impian Interchange. Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR) https://www.latar.com.my/ The Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway - also referred to as LATAR Expressway which stands for Lebuhraya As- samjawa Taman Rimba - provides a dual-carriageway from Templer’s Park in Gombak district to Ijok in Kuala Selangor district. Spanning across 32 kilometres, it presents as a more viable option compared to the Jalan Sungai Buloh Kuala Selangor (Federal Road 54). There are five interchanges that link to the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), North-South Ex- pressway (PLUS) and the West Coast Highway. There are also plans to install the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), CCTVs, Variable Message Signboards (VMS), traffic control devices, weather road markers and emergency telephones along the expressway for safety purposes.
