Greetings to members of the global life sciences community. Life Sciences in Thailand have been growing steadily over the year 2019 and cre- ated value added of 4.14% to the GDP, thanks to our large and small companies. In this 2020 updated “Selected Thailand Life Sciences Companies”, TCELS have conducted an extensive survey and have as a result included significantly increased number of companies. The directory included far too many good companies that we have decided to partner with Biotechgate to create a new portal for life sciences companies in Thailand. The thailifesciences.com was announced late last year at Bio investment Asia 2019 in Bangkok, as a result. You can now subscribe and gain access to information on more than 450 companies that are regularly updated by us and Biotechgate staff. At TCELS our priority this year is to complete Thailand’s first Life Sciences Indi- cator. With its completion, the Indicator will enable us to systematically monitor our industry from the macroeconomics point of view and gain more insight into how it impacts Thailand’s economy over time. We will also be able to indicate precisely where and how some new technologies are growing, such as cell and gene therapy. TCELS new legislation will also allow us to make direct investment into potential companies that we consider to serve public purposes.Therefore,in addition to research funding that we have been providing domestically and with Europe and Asia-Pacific, TCELS now have a new financial tool to promote life sciences sector effectively. This is a big leap for us!
