Message from The Grand Master I am glad to learn that the Regional Grand Lodge of Western India is holding its Diamond Jubilee Celebrations and Special Meeting at Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh on 17th and 18th September 2022. The Brethren of the two Lodges in Jabalpur – Lodge Narmada No. 224 and Lodge Jabalpur Gems No.457 – are quite enthusiastic and dedicated and I am sure they will leave no stone unturned to make both the events are a grand success. I compliment the Regional Grand Master RW Bro Dr. Yagnesh Thakar for choosing a city in Madhya Pradesh as venue for the Diamond Jubilee and the Special Meeting of the Region. We need to take Freemasonry to the hinterlands and smaller cities by organising such events there. This not only rejuvenates the Brethren of that particular area but also helps in spreading Freemasonry. As you all know, Covid-19 pandemic adversely affected the functioning of Masonic Lodges all over the country. The Lodges have now resumed normal Masonic activity all over the country. The Diamond Jubilee Celebrations and the Special Meeting will provide the much-needed impetus to Freemasonry in the Region and infuse enthusiasm among the Brethren. Message from The Regional Grand Master Dear brethren, The responsibility of hosting the special meeting of Regional Grand Lodge of Western India has been taken by brethren of Jabalpur and it is being held on 17th and 18th Sep 2022. We are also celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of our Region during the occasion. Therefore the schedule is changed a bit so that the brethren as well as their families can enjoy entire day of 17th September as diamond jubilee celebrations and the special meeting will be held in the morning of 18th September. The venue chosen by organizers is very beautiful and comfortable. Jabalpur is a beautiful city and a well-known tourist place. A well- known tourist attraction, Bhedaghat with marble rocks in the river Narmada, is very close by and the brethren of Jabalpur will be eager to assist you, should you plan to visit this place. Coupled with the Diamond jubilee we have our Special meeting, and no better place can there be to choose than Jabalpur, the Sanskardhani of the country, known for its hospitality.
