Nature Walk Nature walk was done by the students of kindergarten section to the school garden, to discover and to explore the beauty of nature. Children walked around the garden to observe the na- ture using their sense organs. In simple language students communicated their observation. They observed various things in nature and were eager to say about it. 2
Assembly on Commitment Assembly was conducted by students of KG1 A on the value of the month “Commitment.”. Students enacted a skit on how to keep promises and what should be done for that. Students took a pledge to be committed in whatever they do. 3

The Kindergarten students receive the ‘star of the week ‘every week for the improve- ment in academics. It is a proud moment for the kindergarteners to receive the star of the week. This also encourages the other stu- dents to receive for the same. 6

Numeracy Counting objects Learniers have enjoyed different hands on activities on numbers which helped them to retain number identification, place value and number value. These hand on activities make learning fun and enjoyable for our young learners. 11

MARRS Spell Bee Competition MARRS spell bee competi- tion was conducted in Dunes International School on 13th of January for the Kindergarten students. More than fifty students were actively participated in the competition, and were eagerly waiting for the results. All the partici- pants received the medal . 13

Physical Education Physical activity makes the mind and body healthy for the young children .This improves their mood and self-esteem, and encourages them to do better in school. Mud Kitchen Mud pie is one of the favorite activities of every child; hence creating a mud kitchen is a wonderfully fun activity for children, although a bit messy. Students have learnt about the role of different commu- nity helpers. They have also created a role play of the community helpers which was more interesting and enjoyable. 16
