The award is presented to an individual who has crafted leadership with his work and thinking. The award indi- cates excellence in application of leadership principles to business situa- tions. The Award ceremony will be held on 10th October, 2019. 2

World Tourism day - ‘Around the world @ Dunes’ Tourism is the best teacher on the planet. The reason for World Tourism Day is to cultivate and create awareness among the society globally on the significance of tourism, and it’s social, political, financial and also cultural worth and value. The theme was \"Tourism and its delightfulness\". On this memorable occasion, our Dunites represented their classes with a ‘states of India’. Each class has been decorated with best tourism states of India with its culture and monuments. Students explained the importance of the states, its culture, tradition, food and souvenir. They exhibited about each state with full enthusiasm. It was a wonderful learning experience for each one them.Parents were invited to admire the learning of our tiny Dunites. 4

Star of the week Star of The Week’ was awarded to students for overall academic achievement as well as for those who modelled superior character and citizenship. The children felt so proud to receive the certificate. Congratulations dear !!! 14

Class Mascot Class mascot is given in recognition of display of moral values. Taking the class mascot home is a big deal for students as it motivates and encourages positivity in their be- havior . We are proud of kiddos! 16

English– Just a Minute \"Just a Minute\". It is great for en- couraging speaking skills, for collab- orative play, and for development of vocabulary. Students were speaking instantly on any given topic to enhance vocabulary skills and their confidence. 18

Mathematics Numbers were reinforced through different games and activities. Students learnt the number value and number sense through different hands on activi- ties and games like hopscotch, number line etc. 19

Science Reinforcement of birds and sea animals. Practices makes perfect through recapitulation. Here students were able to recollect and discuss about the facts of birds and sea animals. Activities like sorting of birds and sea animals helps the students to differentiate between each of them. Craft activities help students to develop their creativity, imagination and also fine motor skills. 20

Arabic Arabic Through the study of the Arabic language and culture, students can gradually gain understanding major culture of UAE. At Dunes, the Arabic language taught from kindergarten students to gain basic skills in writing and pronouncing the Arabic alphabet. Students strengthen their learning through work- sheets and using ICT. 21

Swimming It's essential that every toddler learn to swim, es- pecially to be water-safe. ... Dunes introduced swimming in kindergar- ten, so that they have the skill for their whole life. This can help improve their overall physical and mental health. Swimming improve quality of stroke tech- nique, introduce multi-aquatic skills, disci- plines and basic lifesaving skills. It makes a child more active, attentive and enhances his mental and physical capabilities. 22

LIbrary Reading books stimulates chil- dren’s imagination and expands their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word. In the library students recalled the story heard and represented in different ways by designing a mind map. 23
