Glimpse of this week Literary Fest The Literary fest is where the students get a chance to showcase their talent on a theme they are very much in- spired by. The theme for this years fest was, a monument, a pet or a toy of the students choice. The fest is an op- portunity for students to speak in front of a group which in turn will always have a positive impact on the confi- dence and communication skills of the students. The activity was very well participated and the students were actively involved, as they got their favorite things based on the theme and spoke few sentence on it. 1

Grandparents Day Grandparents are the family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, and the keepers of traditions. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. Mathematics Learning by doing is a great way of intro- ducing numbers, group activities on tens and ones was conducted using buttons to make the students familiar with the concept. Fun filled activities were conducted for the concept of heavy and light, kids learnt the difference between heavy and light while comparing various objects. 11
Library For students libraries instill, a special responsi- bility to support the process of learning, reading and to imagine. After learning letter students tend to grasp tricky words very quickly at the library. 12
Science All about birds, animals and insects Many activities on animals, birds and in- sect was done which helped the children to understand the difference between them and to recognize them. We had an in depth study based on their lifestyle and habitat. 13
Arabic Arabic Language Students are over whelmed in the Arabic class by the teacher and the language as it includes many engaging activities such as letter forming with play dough, worksheets and colouring. This gives them a sense of the diversity in languages used. 14
Physical Education Physical education helps children to develop their learning abilities and sharpen their skills. There are numerous health benefits for playing outside, children in our school do many activities enabling them to build their gross motor skills. 15
Year of Tolerance Councilor’s Desk Never underestimate the power of outdoor play. Run- ning on the grass, climbing trees, sitting on a swing, and digging in the dirt is good for kids. Outdoor play can also improve social skills in chil- dren. Children who in- creased their time playing outside increased their em- pathy, engagement, and self-control. Kids with better social skills are likely to en- joy healthier relationships. Make outdoor play a daily habit. Regards What Next…..
