Class Mascot Class mascot is received weekly by a student who displays good behavior in the class. Science –Healthy Food Food We Eat: To develop healthy eating habits and to make students aware of the importance of incorpo- rating healthy food in their diet, healthy plate activity was conducted . 12
Arabic Students at the young age are taught Arabic letters with vari- ous hands on activities. The three skills of language that are listening, reading and writing are emphasized. 13
Swimming Swimming builds endur- ance, muscle strength and cardio vascular fitness, it also helps in healthy weight, heart and lungs, Students are now learning the leg tapping techniques using kick board. 14
Library A library plays an important role in enhancing a teacher's effectiveness and classroom performance. It pro- motes individual and group learning, helps in develop- ing students' vocabulary, en- hancing comprehension, devel- oping the habit of silent reading and developing problem-solving attitude among students . Reading and speaking skills are emphasized during library hours. 15
Physical Education Physical education allows children to experience healthy social interactions, teaching cooperation through group activities, and encouraging teamwork through identi- fication as one part of a team. Various recreational games and endurance training is given to our tiny tots. 16
Mud Kitchen Mud kitchens encourage children to talk about what they're learning, and often the ex- citement of being outside and involved in messy play gets young learners feeling even more confident about speaking and sharing their thoughts. Activities such as Role play, pretend play, and cooking activities with recipes are often conducted in mud kitchen. 17
Entrepreneur Day Assembly was conducted by students of KG1H on Entrepreneur Day to focus on developing entrepreneurial attitudes, skills and behaviours. This includes building self-confidence, self-efficacy, and leadership skills. Students enacted to sell the canvas painting they made and earn a good profit from it. 18
Anti bullying week Anti Bullying week was conducted at Dunes International School to raise awareness among students and to prevent our students from getting bullied and giving solutions on how to reduce the rising incidents of bullying. Students also took a pledge that they will raise their hand only to help and not to harm any- one. 19
Creativity Corner Students learn to feel good about their gifts and talents, as well as respect for others. Each day is filled with hands-on activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, discovery and problem solving. Students are exposed to all kinds of art activities like doodling, ori- gami, painting and craft activities. 20
Creativity corner Chicken Sandwich Required Ingredients: Chicken (Bone or boneless) Garlic Fresh pepper powder Cheese slice Butter Onion Mayonnaise Green capsicum Sandwich Bread PREPARING METHOD: * In cooker add chicken, pepper, salt and 2nos of garlic. Pressure cook the ingredients for 4 whistle. * Once the chicken is cooked, just shred them in to small pieces and keep the chicken stock aside. * In pan add olive oil, onion ,salt, green capsicum, chicken and chicken stock. Just cook for 2 min and let them cool down. * Now take the chicken fillings in separate bowl, add some mayonnaise to it and mix it well. * Take one break slices, add one cheese slice and add some chicken fillings to it and cover it with another bread slice and toast it. * Chicken sandwich is ready to serve. Jamboree 2– A Grand Carnival The Grand carnival was flavored with food stalls, Games, Lucky Draws, Exciting gifts and some monumental acts on 14th November 2019.Clubbed with children’s day the students truly tasted the peaks of this much awaited day in the school calendar. The evening was cher- ished by all of them, stage performances added to the splendors of the evening. Students learned the art of being the future entrepreneurs as well as their communication skills , collaboration and a feeling of togeth- erness surged. 22
