Bangon Batangas : Training on Business Marketing In order to determine the requirements and vulnerabilities of the inhabitants of the towns impacted by the Taal Volcano eruption, the Bangon Batangas Project was launched in the year 2020. The Business Marketing Training for the Internally Displaced Populations of Laurel, Batangas affected by the Taal Volcano Eruption was organized by Batangas State University - Extension Services Central with the specific goal of boosting revenue and promoting local goods in the Municipality of Laurel and those affected by the Taal Volcano eruption. Furthermore, the beneficiaries will receive training on the marketing mix, foster an entrepreneurial mindset, and create cutting-edge marketing and sales strategies. On June 29, 2022, the BatStateU ESO personnel and Faculty experts in marketing provided the training for the beneficiaries of Bangon Batangas. There were several beneficiaries of implemented livelihood projects attended such as the Smoke Fish, Baskagan, Dishwashing Liquid, Ube Crops and Eco Bricks Making. Dr. Nicki Boy Manalo and Ms. Jeckamarie Pasay, faculty members of CABEIHM, led the business marketing training for the livelihood program's recipients. They discussed various approaches and strategies for marketing their finished goods as well as how to reach a wider market.

ESO x CoE Collaboration for Eco Bricks Production In collaboration with the College of Engineering Faculty of Civil Engineering, Batangas State University made a courtesy call with Hon. Lyndon B. Bruce to talk about upcoming livelihood initiatives that would be implemented in their municipality, and they also did an on-site visit to the Molinete Eco-Bricks manufacturing facility in Laurel, Batangas. With the aid of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) . The purpose of the conducted visitation in the Molinete Eco- Bricks manufacturing is to evaluate the final product's quality and marketability. The finished eco-bricks created from wasted oil were evaluated by faculty engineers at BAtStateU. The beneficiaries claim they were unable to sell the finished product because rodents were consuming it. There were a number of recommendations for how to improve the finished product in the evaluation of the faculty engineers.
Virtual Launching of BatStateU Pande-MEAL Plan The Philippines was hit by the deadly and incurable Coronavirus (COVID-19) in March of 2020. All inhabitants were kept inside their homes as a result of the complete lockdown of the entire nation. Due to the high incidence of COVID-19 and the high rate of human life loss, Batangas State University developed a guidebook as part of the solution. Its goal is to develop information, education, and communication materials that will promote healthy diet meal plans that will help improve a person's overall health and immune system, specifically to assist patients diagnosed with mild cases of COVID -19. In celebration of National Nutrition Month 2022 The Pande-MEAL Plan: A Guide to Healthy Eating During the Pandemic has been launched by Extension Service-Central in partnership with the Gender and Development Advocacy Office. Asst. The PandeMEAL Plan was introduced by Prof. Kristia Lei A. Reyes, one of its proponents and the book's author. She also gave a presentation explaining the book's substance to the audience and the significance of health during a pandemic.

(BCRMF), October 21, 2022, in JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation, Simlong, Batangas City. The Bringing Agents of Social Innovation to Communities or BASIC of BatStateU was unanimously approved by the members of BCRMF as one of the foundation's flagship projects. This will be launched in December as part of its 30th Founding Anniversary. BASIC will be funded by BCRMF in support of its member institutions composed of manufacturing industries and other private corporations, academic institutions, government offices, and other interested private citizens. BatStateU participants who attended the meeting discussion with BCRMF were Dr. Vaberlie P. Mandane-Garcia (Director of Extension Services), Dr. Aimee M. Guia (Asst. Director for Extension Monitoring and Impact Assessment), and Ms. Kristia Lei A. Reyes (Asst. Director for Community Development Services).

BatStateU hosts BCRMF 30th Anniversary and Launching of Project BASIC Amidst the changing environment, the Batangas Coastal Resources Management Foundation, Inc. (BCRMF) celebrates its founding anniversary at the Batangas State University-The National Engineering University, December 7, 2022. Forester Jefferson Cruz, EnP, Chief of Coastal Resources and Foreshore Management Section of DENR Region IV-A delivered a keynote speech about the Coastal and Marine resources Conservation Program in CALABARZON. He shared different approaches that can be used in the conservation of coastal and marine ecosystems. Dr. Charmaine Rose I. Trivino, BatStateU Vice President for Academic Affairs thanked the participants for choosing Batangas State University as the host institution of the event. The highlight of the celebration is the launching of the Batangas Social Innovation Challenge or BASIC led by Batangas State University through its Social Innovation Research Center (SIRC) and the Batangas State University Extension Service Office. This calls for a group of young innovators with 3-5 members, ages 18-30 to identify and address local environmental issues particularly the conservation of marine ecosystems in the Province. The project will run from January to December 2023. It also aims to help build healthier and more environment-friendly communities and support in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In her presentation, ESO Director and SIRC Head Dr. Vaberlie P. Mandane-Garcia said that “BASIC is a start of strong collaboration of industries and communities in addressing environmental issues in the Province and that this will ignite innovations from the youth sector”. After the launch of BASIC, about 21 companies and organizations pledged their commitment and support in the said project. Present in the said event are officers and members of BCRMF led by its President, Mr. Ramon Araneta of First Gen. “I see a lot of familiar faces, but I also see important people who have been part of BCRMF for thirty years,” Araneta said. He thanked everyone for the continuing support to the organization and he expressed his joy as many are now participating in the advocacy of the organization.
Bangon Batangas : Training on Proper Packaging and Labeling To continuously develop and sustain the implemented livelihood project, the BatStateU – Extension Services Central together with the DSWD IV-A and MSWDO Ibaan conducted the Training on Packaging and Labeling for Smokefish which is part of the BANGON BATANGAS Project on December 14, 2022, The training was about the proper packaging and labeling of smokefish which was facilitated by the faculty of Food Engineering Program of BatStateU. They also visited the store of the association for proper positioning of prototype equipment. Present in the activity were Asst. Prof. Kristia Lei A. Reyes (Asst.
