On 25th August 2021, Rotaract Club of Silchar executed DISTRICT PROJECT, 2021-22 RID-3240. \"Clean Water For All\" The project has been done at Udharbond BPHC, Dist-Cachar. Under it RAC Silchar distributed Water Filter & Filter Stand to uplift the drinking water facility at the Udharbond Block Health Center. Rtr. Dr. Samujjwal Bhattacharjee was Project Chairman. Project Name: ADHYAPAN(SPOORTHI) Venue: Chinar Park, West Bengal Total no of children:- 15+ Date:- 5th Sep Description: On the special occasion of TEACHERS DAY, RAC Silchar Royals celebrated it with the children of an NGO named Embassy of Hope. We distributed drawing books, colours, some reading books and chocolates among the children. We tried to make their day special by playing so fun games, dancing and singing with them and we were successfully able to bring smile on their faces. SILCHAR ROYALS Rotaract Club of Silchar royals launched a program named हौसला- 3month Free Computer Training programme at Madhuramukh LP school jointly with YASE NGO. Students from class 2-10 have registered for the program. In this 3month students will learn about basic computer application, (Like MS WORD, PAINT, MS EXCEL ) how to use computer for their studies and other application. How to apply for different govt documents, govt schemes like scholarship and much more. Donation drive- As on July 6th there was a fire accident cause at itavata Digboi were three families lost there every remaining on the fire. .So,we RAC Digboi oil Town commenced a donation drive by donating following items i) Utensils. ii) School items. iii) Sanitary pads. iv) Santizers. V) Mask. Vi) Grocery items. DIGBOI OIL TOWN As on the occasion international Friendship Day on 1st of August we tied friendship knot with various frontline personals such as Armed personnel,police persons,CISF, security guards. And Showed the friendship ties within us. As,they are being the frontliner workers and service personnel we felt to strengthen our bonds with them and be a well wisher always for them so we commenced such project. PAGE FORTY TWO | SANVEDNA
Bhukh Nishkashan Abhiyan was an initiative taken up by RAC Dibrugarh in the midst of curfew restrictions when livelihoods of daily wage workers were severely affected. The 2nd phase of Bhukh Nishkashan Abhiyan was carried out on 18th and 19th of July 2021 wherein 42kits of dry ration were distributed among the needy families. Each kit consisted of 5kgs Rice, 1 kg Masoor Dal, 1kg chana, 500gm soyabean, 1 L mustard oil, 1kg salt, 1pkt haldi, 1kg potatoes, 1kg onions and 2 bathing soaps. It was a continuation project and in the first phase 20 such kits were distributed. DIBRUGARH On 8th of August, RAC Dibrugarh successfully executed a letterhead exchange followed by a cultural exchange with Rotaract Club of Kathmandu University, Nepal, RID 3292. It was a wonderful evening learning about the different cultures, cuisines and garments of both the countries. We were also enlightened about the various places to visit and the adventure sports to try. The wonderful evening ended with a BiHU song sung by our president Rtr. Hrishekesh Goswami. The Rotaract club of Duliajan organized a two-day vaccination drive on 11th and 17th sept 2021 respectively. The first drive, on 11th September mainly targeted backward tea-estate people belonging to the Jutulibari Tea Estate . Majority of these people had no sort of valid documents regarding their identification. This was thus quite a difficult job for our members, nevertheless, they did their best to get then vaccinated. A total of 450 tea labourers were vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine. On the 17th of September, i.e. on the second day of this campaign, 146 general public were vaccinated with both the first and the second dose. DULIAJAN The flood relief campaign was a 2-week long campaign, that included collection, packaging and distribution of food products, clothes and everyday essentials. After 2 weeks of sheer hard work by our active and diligent members, the products were distributed on 21st of September, 2021. The journey to Laika began around 7 am the team consisted of 30 members . After travelling to Guijan ghat via road transportation, followed by a 3-hour ferry ride on the Brahmaputra River and finally a 1-hour boat ride, our members were successful in reaching Laika. The campaign distributed relief items worth Rs 1.5 lakhs among 200 families. PAGE FORTY FIVE | SANVEDNA

Ekhaj (A Plate of Joy): Rotaract Club of Grater Tezpur City executed their International Service Project, Rota Year 2021-22 on 15 August, 2021at the venue of Main Town, Tezpur under Chairperson IPP Rtr. Saswati Das. Partnering with Cellocity -A Multi-brand Showroom, RAC Greater Tezpur City executed their first International Service Project of Rota Year 2021-22 - “Ekhaj (A Plate of Joy)”. On this project, RAC Greater Tezpur City collaborated with 11 Rotaract Clubs outside the boundaries of RID 3240 GREATER TEZPUR CITY Rotaract Club of Greater Tezpur City execute d their district project, Rota Year 2021- 22 on 15 August, 2021 at the venue of Old Aged Home, Beseria, Tezpur, Sonitpur, Assam; under Chairperson Rtr. Mitali Sharma. RAC Greater Tezpur City along with RAC Greater Tezpur executed their first district project “JASHAN-E- AZADI”. Following the hosting of the national flag, both the clubs executed the first phase “Swadhaya” of the district project, serving packed breakfast and sweets at an old aged home in Beseria, Tezpur. DIMAPUR On 15th August 2021 SVADHYAYA was carried out PAGE FORTY NINE | SANVEDNA at AKHIL BHARTIYA VANVASI KALYAN ASHRAM in Dimapur. RAC Dimapur visited the ashram and had a beautiful time with them interacting and discussing regarding the various needs of the Ashram. The members planted also carried out tree plantation with 42 saplings assuring proper care of the saplings as they grow. Some essential commodities were also donated to the ashram. ROTARACT CLUB OF DIMAPUR Conducted its Flagship Project for the Month of August on 29th August 2021 Where 80 Food Packets with a bottle of water were distributed to the needy and hungry people. Few areas like Railway Station, Gurudwara and Shani Mandir was covered. RAC Dimapur also promised to continue this project every month on the last Sunday.
On 26 th September 2021, the Rotaract Club of Bongaigaon has done one district project “Spoorthi-Enthuse Learning” at Anada Marga Ashram, Bongaigaon by providing some notebooks and necessary study materials to the students residing there. The programme was conducted in presence of Rtr Munindra Sutradhar(Club Secretary), Rtr Neeraj Ray, and Rtn Rtr Abhijit Ray. BONGAIGAON On 15 th August 2021, on occasion of auspicious Independence Day of the country, the Rotaract Club of Bongaigaon has successfully completed the district project \"SVADHYAYA\" Under this initiative the club has distributed food items followed by entertainment programes in an Old Aged Home near Chapaguri, Bongaigaon. Covi-स्पर्धा In dire times when children were getting bored locked in their homes, we decided to host an online competition, divided into 3 age groups. Poster making, Dance performance and poem reciting were the highlights. Received great about 250+ responses. Hosted online conference for results and handed over/posted prizes to children. NAGAON Inaayat Carried out a food distribution project “Inaayat” on Independence Day this year. We distributed packaged food to Old-age houses, Orphanages, special-child houses.
