Hebe Haven 24 hour dinghy race Fees* Risk Med High $500 Low X X This is a 24 hour sailing race at Hebe Haven Yacht Club. the idea is that you come to sail for a ‘slot’ - probably about 2 hours, so that the boat is continuously on the water. You might be interested in being involved in the organisation of the KGV team - helping to organise the sailing slots, or making sure that the sailors are in the right place at the right time. IMPORTANT: if you are taking part in the sailing you MUST be a competent swimmer. You can only helm if you have the Level 1&2 certificate. Additional Fees: You will also need to raise $500 sponsorship money*. Initially, we will invoice your parents and then you will need to raise the money to give back to your parents. The teachers spend all their time planning and creating exciting and interesting lessons for you. We do not have time to work on the displays on the corridors. That is why we are looking for students to propose and implement ways of improving the displays on the 2 floors used by the Mathematics Department. You can use any materials or sources that you want, within reason and budget. This term would be used to create your ideas and work out a proposal to present to the Mathematics Department. If your proposal is agreed, the expectation is that implementation would occur during Term 1, next academic year.
