ADVISER’S MESSAGE Dear Residents, If you are around the junction of Tampines Avenues 4 and 5, you can’t miss Our Tampines Hub in the nal phases of completion. Our Tampines Hub – or OTH - is a project led by the People’s Association and will be Singapore’s rst-ever integrated community and lifestyle hub. It will bring together multiple agencies to o er a comprehensive range of services and facilities for the community. I would like to thank the 15,000 Tampines residents who gave inputs over 18 months when we conceptualised OTH and many others who continue to support all the activities and events leading to its completion in 2017. I want everyone to know that OTH is designed with residents for residents. OTH will open its doors across 3 phases. Residents and visitors will get to enjoy a one-stop shop for services, many arts and sports facilities, a new regional library and a community club. There will also be a hawker centre and retail shops - everything you need and more, under one roof. OTH will represent a new model of a community-focused development. With its rst phase TOP (Temporary Occupation Permit) completed, my colleagues and I are happy to give you a sneak peak of OTH on 7th August 2016. I hope the exciting events including the launch of the OTH logo on that day will be part of our collective memories of Tampines. A unique line-up of retail and F&B shops coming to OTH await you too. I am excited that OTH will make Tampines even more special. OTH will be a living lab to realise our vision of a Caring, Learning, Creative, Active and Green Tampines.
