07 COLOR
I loved the fact that I could finally play with color, as I feel as though that is my strong suit. However, my inspirations began to run thin after weeks and weeks of the same words and text. We were also allowed to use images, to which I thought were more fun to play with. I choose non-copyrighted works from Unsplash.com and essentially allowed the image to lead the design.

I tried to have an equal number of image based compositions and completely Photoshop/Illustrator based compositions. It was very illuminating how powerful Illustrator and Photoshop can be. I had fun playing and flexing each programs abilities. I also tried to include images that I took and put the text into it, creating a 3D illusion. There is also a reappearance of the banana from the experimental compositions.

09EPILOGUE
Thank you so much for reading this book! I hope you enjoyed reading this as I had creating it! This journey was a rough one, and I not just talking about the process of creating this book. However, through the rough, I was able to learn so much about typography, composition, and the principles of design. While there were a few lacking designs, I definitely am proud of many of the compositions I had designed through this process. If I had the time and patience, I would definitely attempt this whole process once or even twice more. It’s been a pleasure to take you along this journey as I “unwrap” my potential for design.
