The most popular destinations in our area are Mt. RushmoreNational Monument and Crazy Horse Memorial. You can see Buffaloat Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park. All of thesedestinations and many more are within half an hour to an hourdriving distance from our house. If you are going to BadlandsNational Park or to Devils Tower Nationsl Monument in Wyoming,your drive is about two hours. Ask us about scenic routes to take!Hiking, Biking and SkiingThere are extended hiking and biking trails, such as the MickelsonTrail and the Centennial Trail. Bicycle rental and shuttle services areoffered at different locations. Hiking to Harney Peak, the highestpoint in the US East of the Rockies, is a popular activity. Near ourB&B there are many trails on which you can take your ATV. Thereare places nearby where you can rent ATVs.If you're looking to hit the slopes in the winter, it's just a forty-five minute drive toDeer Mountain and Terry Peak ski resorts. Also near that area are many groomed crosscountry ski trails and snowmobile trails.

Christine and Hanspeter Streich In 1996 we moved here fromSwitzerland to fulfill our dream. We wanted to run a Bed &Breakfast with a touch of Europe in the heart of the Black Hills.Hanspi had a landscape architecture business in Switzerland. Hedesigned the house which was ready for operations late spring1997. We started out with a total of 7 rooms. In 2005 we added 3more themed rooms.We have since constantly upgraded and improved amenities and decorations in andaround the house. We have always loved to have people in our home and our goal hasbeen to provide a beautiful, peaceful, homey environment for everybody who entersand stays.
