Great Remote Instruction.... ● ● …

Great Remote Instruction.... Includes choice ● Give students choice in activities to complete if you can. ● This can be as simple as a choice board for the week where they complete one activity a day totaling in 5 activities out of the 9 provided.

Great Remote Instruction.... Has clear directions ● Even our older students need to know where to start. ● How will they know where to click and in what order? ● How will they complete the activity? ● Can they read your instructions or could you include audio/video to provide instructions?

Great Remote Instruction.... Helps students organize responses ● Create a graphic organizer for them to respond on. ● Create templates for them to edit. ● Add visual cues on the slides to help them through the response.

Great Remote Videos.... ● Use hardware like the MimioView to help see manipulatives and writing clearly. ● Have great lighting. Light yourself from the front when recording or live streaming. Make sure you are sitting in front of a window and the light behind you will make it hard to see your face. ● Are recorded or live streamed in a quiet space. Background noises including voice, pets, outdoor sounds, etc… can be distracting.
