Let's Celebrate! NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION Saudi Arabia celebrates the National Day of Unification of the Kingdom on 23 September each year. Date The date to the royal holdings issued in Arabic No. 2716, and the date of 17 Jumada I 1351 AH, and requires the transfer of the name of the state (Kingdom of Hejaz and Najd and accessories) to Saudi Arabia, starting on Thursday 21 Jumada I 1351 AH corresponding to the first of the balance and meet the day 23 September 1932.

TDeacahyer's ‘A good teacher can inspire hope , ignite imagination and instill love for learning’ Al Ra'ed International Schools celebrated Teacher’s day with great fun and enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted on this day. The assembly began with the talk highlighting the contribution of teachers in a student’s life. he assembly was followed by a get-together of teachers. The Principal addressed all the teachers with her inspiring words. She thanked all the teachers for their diligence, sincerity and hardwork. All the teachers were given gifts by the Principal.

Trip to School trips provide unique opportunities for kinaesthetic learning i.e. 'learning by doing' and encourage students to engage with people, places and buildings in new ways. Students enjoyed the amazing rides and tasty food on a school trip to CHUCK E CHEESE.

Word Mania is a word-building competition for schools . It’s based on one of Literacy Planet’s most popular exercises and any student from Year 1 to 9 can take part! Al Ra'ed International Schools primary section students have been performing brilliantly in this year’s Word Mania and achieved rank under top 10 positions. TRIP TO SNOW CITY RIYADH Al Ra'ed International Schools elementary students experienced real snow and a sub-zero climate at Snow City – the only indoor snow center in Riyadh! . Students slide down snow slopes, build their own snowman, and learn from fun workshops.

Add a Parent Teacher Meeting play a crucial role in enhancing a child’s education. Parent teacher meeting is an effective way for parents and teachers to interact and discuss about their child’s progress. Parents on the other hand can play an active role in their child’s education and can further encourage and influence their child to do well in school. At International School like Al Ra'ed, Parents also get a chance to Interact with other Parents and exchange their experience of Parenting. Parent teacher meeting helps parents about the activities and academic progress of the child evaluated through regular assessments, assignments and observation. On the other hand, it also helps parents to properly communicate and coordinate with the teacher about participation of the child in class and in different activities.

A spelling bee is a competition in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty. Spelling bees help to promote literacy by providing children with a positive goal to work toward, and give them a forum to display the fruits of their hard work. This year Al Ra'ed International Schools took spelling bee competition to the next level by incorporating technology. Students were given tablets during the competition and they have to type their spelling on those tablets.

CEFHRN LANGUAGE DAY Al Ra'ed International Schools held a French Language Day. During the course of the day, children took part in activities planned around a French theme, providing opportunity for them to explore the language and culture of France and other francophone countries.

WORLD ARABIC DAY Students of Al Ra'ed International Schools celebrated World Arabic Language Day (WALD). Competition was also organized for this occasion where students of the Primary Schools performed in-front of their fellow students. Al Ra'ed Administration decorate their building with number of different corners and activities aimed at promoting the love of Arabic Language and encouraging students to strengthen their knowledge of Arabic Language .

‫ﻳﻮم‬ ‫اﻟﺒﻴﻌﺔ‬ DOCUMENTARY Al Rae'ed International School Celebrates 5th Anniversary of King Salman’s Ascension to the Throne. The Kingdom has made remarkable and unprecedented political, social, economic and developmental achievements since King Salman ascended to the throne on January 23, 2015. To honor our beloved king's achievements Al Ra'ed International Schools the creative department prepared a small documentary on Saudia Arabia.

Pajama Day is a day that children were thrilled with the novelty of wearing their pajamas to Prep and seeing all their classmates and teachers do the same! Some children were wondering if they needed to sleep right away. Others were so proud of their pajamas and some even brought along their favorite bedtime stories and toys. The regular morning routine was replaced with a series of special activities including mattress games, bedtime stories and learning about the importance of sleep in our life. The children also did some night-time themed artwork, with lots of stars and moons on display.

Al Ra'ed International Schools presents our \"Teacher of the Month Program\". This program is designed to \"spotlight\" our most dedicated and talented teachers.  Each department have the opportunity to nominate monthly a teacher who exemplifies the character and professional traits. Going to the hair dresser, beauty salon or barber shop can be a positive or negative experience for a child depending on their knowledge and personal comfort level with getting their hair cut or trimmed.Keeping this in mind, Al Ra'ed International Schools organized a pretend hair salon activity. Preschool barber shop theme will give children with both types of feelings, an opportunity to explore hair activities, and to help one another understand more about going to the hair salon or beauty salon and helping one another out with fun hair dressing activities.

The spirit of friendly competition comes alive on Al Ra'ed International Schools -Kindergaten Sports Day.  The children participate in a wide range of sports events, cheer on their teammates and learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship.  Everyone’s a winner at Prep with children guaranteed to win at least a couple of medals for their efforts.
