Our Online Glow. The Afterglow Cosmetics line is only made of pure, natural, and organic ingredients. They had a unique product position based on use of the most natural and the safest ingredients, never tested on animals, gluten-free and vegan, leaping bunny certified, made in the USA, full disclosure on all ingredients, only pharmaceutical grade minerals used, woman formulated, owned and ran; just to name a few. The product and owner have been featured in publications as Scientific American, WebMD and The New York Daily News. The help we provided was moving her brand using an elevated branding strategy paired with next level social media marketing and e- commerce campaigns that would help set her cosmetics line apart. And it worked. Getting Healthier.These two brands lacked a go-to marketing strategy and plan. Once in the market, both productsneeded consumer awareness, to get a “pull through” in stores, likeWalmart, Sams, Walgreens and RiteAid. Yellow Is The New Orange When Chiquita Banana called on us for some BIG ideas, we delivered by providing an overarching theme for a national recipe contest that relied heavily on online consumer engagement and larger-than-life publicity stunts in NYC. The 8-week campaign challenged consumers to create fun, easy and healthy banana recipes with weekly ingredients generated by the Fan Fun app! In addition to online ads, a social media campaign and on-package promotion, we pursued a proclamation from the Governor of New York as Big Banana Day took over the Big Apple. Street teams converged upon the city and visited places like the Food Bank of NYC and Times Square to hand out thousands of bananas. Ms. Chiquita made stops throughout the city and the Empire State Building was illuminated bright yellow! Stand Out On A Shelf.Hinnant Vineyards, a Muscadine wine vineyard was selling in Food Lions, HarrisTeeters and Wal-Mart stores and needed to stand out. 219 was able to work with HarrisTeeter and Food Lions to create custom Vestcom labels for shelves, acting as a point ofsale marketing element. In addition, 219 worked with Wal-Mart buyers and created 2private labels for Wal-Mart stores. The “Gimme Some Sugar” line has become the bestselling local wine in Wal-Mart stores in Eastern North Carolina. With other successesincluding Sam’s Club wine packs, event collateral and point of sale signage for all Wal-Mart local North Carolina wines, Hinnant has gained footing and became a top vineyardin Eastern North Carolina.
