From MD's Desk Dear Friends, First of all, I congratulate every member of ARaymond India family for breaking the higher sale record every month in this Quarter. Day by day we are creating history in ARaymond India’s sales record. This is indeed a very good achievement by the entire team but at the same time we as a team have to take care that still we have to keep improving our Quality. Quality doesn’t mean quality of product. It means organisational quality which includes quality of processes, quality of response to the customers, internal communication. We have to also take care from concept stage of any new product or process, we should assess the risk and mitigate risk to ensure right delivery first time and every time. We have to build this culture of considering the risks involved in any step and then assessing that risk and trying to put efforts in place to mitigate the risk with possible solutions. This will help in overall organisational excellence. Our ambitions are high, our customers are also demanding, a very stringent lead time and high quality. To be a premium partner to our customers we will have to excel in ‘lead time and quality’. Next Quarter is going to be a peak season for our Automotive market, so our orders are going to increase, but at the same time we have to take care of quality, productivity, equipment maintenance and also reduction of any waste. I am glad to share that we have gained 2 Key Businesses for EV (Electric Vehicle) in Q2. First is Mahindra and second is Hyundai/KIA. We have supported 2 NPD Parts within 3 weeks’ time for customer vehicle build, scheduled at Korea in 4th week of June 2023. Great collaboration done by our Team. 2| From MD's Desk

Also, our OMCS team has started Asia Regional S&OP in this Quarter. EDI Connection has been initiated between ARC and ARI Clips plant- May23. ARI Customer portal has also been implemented. Highest Collection of 90% has been done by our Finance and Sales Team in the month of May 23 and the list goes on with many other achievements. We are heading towards great progress. Congratulations to all for these and many other achievements. Let’s rock again in the next Quarter. Carol Neyrinck (CSR Manager), Garry Warren (Fluid Handling global coordinator), Asian Mold Team, these are some of our colleagues from global team who visited our plant in this Quarter and appreciated efforts and process adherence with high level of housekeeping and implementation of ATOMS culture, particularly SG activities. Congratulations and keep growing our ATOMS culture. We are going to celebrate the month of July as a “Raymotion Month.” The motive behind this is to make every member of ARaymond India aware about our global strategy of “Raymotion 2030”. In this Raymotion month, we will be having various activities, games followed by prizes to the winners. I request you all to participate in these activities and contribute your ideas in Raymotion 2030. Now-a-days as world is moving too fast, we should take care of our mental as well as physical health. We should spare some time on our Health, we should do regular exercise, we should practice Yoga as well, to keep our mental health stable. Recently one of our colleagues underwent through a surgery due to some medical issues. I request you all to please take care of yourselves as each one of you is the valuable asset of the organization. I also call upon you, to ensure SAFETY FIRST work practice. Nothing is beyond your safety. Raise an alarm and notify your team leader or manager of any unsafe work practices. 3| From MD's Desk

It is said by famous Author Emily Post “Nothing is less important than which fork you use. Etiquette is the science of living. It embraces everything. It is ethics. It is honour.” Our values itself define our etiquettes. How we behave, how we present ourselves in front of someone, how we act with somebody else that is what etiquette is. If there is a lady, we help her go first, we ask elders to sit first, these are all etiquettes. These etiquettes are coming from our culture, our values. And when it comes to values, our core values that are Respect and Pleasure are the pillars which help us to define our etiquettes. We all as employees of ARaymond should think about our values first while putting anything into action, while displaying any etiquettes in front if others. When it comes to knowing our etiquettes, we must do a “Manthan” on our values of Respect & Pleasure, which will define our Etiquettes. Festivals like Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid, Mohram are also coming near. I wish all the happiness and healthy life to my colleagues in this festive season with great celebrations with your loved ones. Come on Team, Let’s work hard together and enrich together. It is said by Henry Ford, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is a progress and working together is a success.” All the very best! Jai Hind ! 4| From MD's Desk

From MD's Desk 5| From MD's Desk

जय हिन्द ! 7| From MD's Desk

NOTHING IS LESS IMPORTANT THAN WHICH FORK YOU USE. ETIQUETTE IS THE SCIENCE OF LIVING. IT EMBRACES EVERYTHING. IT IS ETHICS. IT IS HONOR. EMILY POST

ETIQUETTES This edition of ‘Rayjuvenate’ has been themed around ‘Etiquettes.’ Etiquettes comprise of a set of conventional rules or practices followed in social and professional life within a society, social class or group. Etiquette is a French word which represents courtesy extended to others during any interaction. Although the term finds it origins in France, the idea of etiquettes is not foreign to us, as we have been following them at various levels since time immemorial. Sanatana Dharma upholds ‘Shishtachar’ principles ‘Atithi devo bhava’ (The guest is God) and ‘Acharya devo bhava’ (the teacher is God). We follow simple practices such as greeting our elders, doing namaskar, respecting each other irrespective of age and stature. Even Kings of Bharat, such as Shri Rama and Raja Bhoj, who were deeply revered and respected by all, were known to be extremely courteous to all the citizens of their kingdoms. Our Sansksrit texts like Dharmashastra outline the etiquettes and conduct to be followed in society. The set of etiquettes followed differ according to the space and sphere in which we interact. The set of etiquette and forms of courtesy shown in the social sphere – among family and friend circles – are slightly different from those followed in the professional zone. 9| Editorial

There are different types of Etiquetts. Some of them are ·Social Etiquettes ·Eating Etiquettes ·Meeting Etiquettes ·Business Etiquettes If you look at western culture, the people eat with Fork and knife and once they finish they keep Fork and knife together. This indicates they are finished with the food. However, in South India people eat in Banana leaves with their hand and once finished the upper portion of Banana leave is folded towards oneself which indicates the food is finished and satisfaction towards the food and host. Etiquettes can be verbal as well as non-verbal. Using appropriate language, good listening skills, politeness, greetings make one a better individual and professional. Non-verbal gestures such as a simple smile, a nod, a handshake or a namaste, holding the door for someone, maintain appropriate posture, following dress codes are also as integral to the professional etiquettes as verbal ones. Despite there being difference in the etiquettes followed at different places around the world, what lies at the core of all practices is respect, which is one of the six foundational pillars of the ARaymond group. 10| Editorial

At ARaymond, we periodically conduct various trainings to employees and one of such training session is conducted on Etiquettes as well. The purpose of such training is to cultivate the good habits, understanding the importance of etiquettes, respecting others and to assimilate the same in different spheres. We all represent ARaymond as its employees and should make it a point to follow every aspect of professional etiquettes, meeting etiquettes and uphold the brand image of our company. Just as little drops make mighty oceans, following simple etiquettes will surely help us go a long way! -Raghothaman Rao 11| Editorial

Enhancing Our Interactions I n a world where technology reigns supreme and communication is often reduced to digital exchanges, the value of basic etiquette may sometimes be overlooked. However, practicing and embracing these simple acts of courtesy can significantly enhance our interactions and positively impact our relationships with others. At its core, basic etiquette is about showing respect, consideration, and empathy towards others. It provides a framework for creating harmonious and pleasant social environments, whether it's in our personal or professional lives. When we make an effort to incorporate these practices into our daily interactions, we not only improve our own experiences but also contribute to a more positive and inclusive society. One crucial aspect of basic etiquette is effective communication. By actively listening to others, we demonstrate that we value their opinions and experiences. This promotes understanding and fosters healthy dialogue, which can lead to fruitful collaborations, stronger friendships, and even resolution of conflicts. Additionally, expressing gratitude and appreciation through simple gestures such as saying \"please\" Greet others with a smile and a friendly \"hello\" or \"good morning.\" 13| ARTICLE

Few other things that can be followed are :- ·Use polite and respectful language when communicating with colleagues, superiors, and subordinates. ·Practice active listening by giving your full attention and avoiding distractions when someone is speaking to you. ·Avoid interrupting others while they are speaking and wait for your turn to contribute to the conversation. and \"thank you\" can go a long way in making others feel acknowledged and valued. ·Be mindful of punctuality and strive to arrive on time for meetings, appointments, and work-related commitments. ·Maintain a professional appearance by dressing appropriately for the workplace and adhering to any dress code policies. ·Practice proper email and digital communication etiquette by using clear and concise language, checking for spelling and grammar errors, and responding in a timely manner. ·Respect confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost care and discretion. ·Apologize sincerely and take responsibility for mistakes or misunderstandings when they occur. ·Be open to feedback and constructive criticism, viewing it as an opportunity for growth and improvement. -Priya Bhivare 14| ARTICLE

Rural women self help group stalls Despite several socio-economic developments worldwide, women still fall among some of the most vulnerable communities, unable to access resources at par with men. Thus, women empowerment emerges as a theme central to sustainable development. ARaymond India is looking to empower women from rural area by increasing their savings habits. There are consistent efforts to formalize the system of Self Help Groups and give them additional financial support by creating a proper link between the buyer and SHGs. One such link was created by ARaymond India’s CSR pillar on 6th June 2023. The stalls of the products which were produce by these women were put up in the ARaymond premises, where employees could buy the variety of products directly from women. The products were, food items, cold press edible oil, grains and clothes stitched by women themselves. 31| CSR Activity

The response from the employees was very heartening. Everybody supported this initiative and women empowerment cause whole heartedly. The total financial collection through this sell within three hours was Rs. 20500/- There is a demand from the employees that, such stalls should be put up regularly, where employees get the feeling that they too have contributed to the society through some or the other way. 32| CSR Activity

Initiatives of Change (IofC) Why should happy moments always end? Why can’t we continue with it throughout our life? Why can’t we always spend our time in peace and calmness? Why can’t the world be as peaceful as it was in Panchgani? These were a few out of many questions in my mind after this life changing trip, I experienced during my five days visit to the Initiatives of Changes (IoFC), Asia Plateau, Panchgani. About a month ago after I had a wonderful weekend, I was about to begin my daily work routine before which a mail popped up on my screen.I thought it was a regular work-related mail from my manager, but it was a mail from Rahul sir about some training on “Leading by Values” and it was scheduled to take place at Panchgani from June 10th to 14th 2023. During my 1st glimpse on the subject line, only the city names Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar got captured in my eyes which brought a hell lot of excitement in me. Immediately I texted my friends to share my joy and excitement. Each one of us was thrilled as it was the 1st time, we were going for an official office trip. From that day onwards the countdown began, and our curiosity kept on increasing day by day. We went on troubling the seniors asking them about the training and all other related stuffs, and whenever they told something good about the trip, our excitement level raised further. 34| Training: Leading by Values

So finally came June 10th, the day we all were so eager and excited about. The excitement about the trip helped us forget our fear and tension of our department allocation and other office work, the excitement of going to a hotspot of Maharashtra which everyone dreamt of going. Without going further into the details about when and how we got the bus, what we did etc., I would like to be on the surface layer of the things. The theme of the whole training was to learn how to spend some ‘Quiet Time’ (शांत समय) for some part of the day and hear what our inner voice wants to tell us. The training was also an awareness as to why Silent time is important to oneself as we don’t often get time to spend in silence due to our work schedule. Right from the time of departure, I think we had our mindset locked that we are going to have a lot of fun on this trip, our 1st priority was fun and then came the training. This was clearly seen in the bus where the sleepy heads got themselves converted into wild singers. Enroute the beautiful scenic route towards Panchgani, we finally reached IoFC after a 4-hour long journey. 35| Training: Leading by Values

It seemed we had reached some resort in a hill station, not a training institute. Located at a height of around 1300m above sea level, the institute was a 70-acre vast land which provided an amazing scenic view of mountains and was surrounded with plenty of greeneries. There were two buildings, one where we had our rooms to stay and the other had several training rooms with the dining hall above it. The training rooms were named after different continents such as Australia room, Africa room etc ne the rooms were based on the concept of ancient traditions of these continents. The institute also had a huge playground where we later played cricket, football and lagori. Throughout the 5days, we had several trainings, the trainings did not have the traditional chalk and talk method rather they were filled with games and other practical methods which taught us important life lessons. The sessions lasted the whole day, but in between the sessions there was ample amount of time for us to spend for other activities. The food was great, the weather was at its best. Sunny for a while and then the rain hit the ground to bring the cold winds. Throughout the trip, there were many learnings attained both directly and indirectly. Through the games we learnt various values such as respect, leadership, teamwork etc. Apart from the learning on values, we also learnt a new way of leading life. At Asia Plateau, we understood how calmness and silence plays a vital role at every Juncture of life and in every decision we make. The training at Asia Plateau has opened our eyes to look life in a different view. 36| Training: Leading by Values

The trip was a life changer for many of us. There was a sense of energetic vibe over there, for a person like me who gets up at the very last moment just to get ready in a hurrying manner and go to office, I was surprised to not only get up at the 1st ring of alarm at 5am but also wake up all my friends along with me. Sleeping only for 4-5 hours, we were not tired throughout the day. That was the sense of energy we got over there. Overall, the trip was an allrounder, from fun to learnings, we experienced everything in the 5day stay over there. India is a country that focusses more on formal education. We matter our 10th and 12th Standard grade more than anything. But a training like the one at IoFC is more important than your board exams as it emphasizes more on mental health of a person. There are enormous trainings available for us free of cost online, but we give least priority to mental health. Thanks to ARaymond India for giving us this opportunity to attend such an amazing training. -Rahul R 37| Training: Leading by Values

Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow. I am Associated with ARaymond since last four years. I joined as a YTP and the journey of learning started. I joined ATOMS (Business Excellence) function in year 2020, it was new learning as well as implementing lean methodologies. One of the most important turning point was when management trusted, supported and nominated me for PGDOM course. I am thankful that they gave me an opportunity to pursue Post Graduate Diploma course in Operations management at Mahindra Institute of Quality at Nashik. The course was of 4 phases with 10-15 days of training at Mahindra Institute of Quality and practical implementation of 2 projects. Though it was good thing for my career, it was a mixed feeling. Because I had to stay away from my family and also that the responsibilities at work would get hampered. But both of my families supported me, one at my home and one at ARaymond. Especially, my manager Mr. Anup played both the roles of managing workload as well taking care like an elder brother. That is the reason I never got that feeling of stress or discomfort. 39| Experience at MIQ

PGDOM Course at MIQ was unique and wonderful experience for me. The course focuses on holistic development of trainees by inclusion of subjects of operation management as well as leadership, and personality development programs. During this course, I got to learn core subject like quality management (QC story and QC tools), project management (FMEA, DMADV/DMAIC), lean tools with the hands-on experience on VSM, TRIZ, MOST, Power BI tools. Also, practical applications of tools and techniques to apply in an organization. I got to know how to progress along the journey in my career while working with highly experienced professionals at MIQ and guest faculties. I can feel the great change in both my knowledge and leadership skill. Now the journey of learning is completed by giving rise to the journey of implementation and execution of the tools and techniques I learned. The training school Gurukul for our shopfloor employees is first step towards execution and many more to come. I am thankful for the opportunity that was given to me for pursuing PG Diploma in Operations management by our company. -Dhanaya Kulkarni Team Member Business Excellence 40| Experience at MIQ
