Description: This conceptual editorial is based on images for a promotional photo shoot conducted in July 2015 as part of the site-specific public fashion project Ahola. Literally meaning aloha backwards, the project aimed to challenge stereotypical views on Hawaii, its culture, and lifestyle. Ahola was completed in Honolulu with support from Ryerson University, Canada, The University of Hawaii at Manoa, the Hawaii Fashion Incubator and other local institutions and individuals.
