Offertory Prayer Thank you, Good Shepherd for all the ways you give to us. With your life, you ensure that we have abundant life. Help us to use our lives to bring blessings and abundance to others. Use our gifts to empower your work in world – so that those who have not yet seen the Risen Savior may encounter him through our ministries. Use the gift of our very lives to carry your Incarnate Love into the world. We pray this with the boldness of those who know the power of the Resurrected Christ. Amen. The Spoken Word \"Keep Walking\" Psalm 23 and John 10:1-14 Rev. Eleanor Colvin The Invitation to Christian Discipleship “Go forth empowered by Christ’s light to serve like Christ.”
Sermon Notes Key Scriptures: Psalm 23 NIV The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refresh- es my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. John 10: 9-10 “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—”
