The Spoken Word “Shine! (Part 2)” Matthew 5:14-16 and Mark 10:43-45 Rev Eleanor L. Colvin Sermon Notes Key Scriptures:   Matthew 5:14-16 – You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven. Mark 10:43-45 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Luke 9:62 -- And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
