Call to Worship Leader: Welcome this day to a celebration of God’s magnificent creation! All: Thanks be to God the Creator who has loaned to us a beautiful planet. Leader: Welcome this day to a recognition of God’s redeeming love! All: Thanks to God the Redeemer who has given us God’s only son as our Example and Teacher, Our Savior and Redeemer! Leader: Welcome this day to the joy of God’s Holy Spirit of truth and power! All: Thanks to God the Sustainer who walks with us every day, guiding and guarding our steps. AMEN!

Affirmation of Faith I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Welcome from the Pastor: Greetings to you! This is an amazing time to be in the Kingdom of God! There is no time like the present to give God the praise for what He has done! I want to personally welcome you to First UMC-College Station. It is truly a blessing to have you with us. In our mission to be the embodiment of Mark 12:30-31, we embrace you and your family with the joyful expectation that God will grant you perfect peace. Whether you are visiting for the first time or you are a “welcomed regular”, I believe that you are in the right place, at the right time, to receive the very thing(s) you have believed God for!
