นิทานอิทธิบาท 4

กาลครงั หนึงนานมาเเลว้ มหี มบู่ า้ นเกษตรกรเเห่งหนึงตงั อยเู่ เถวเนินเขาโลน้ 1 ซึงสภาพดนิ เเถวนันไมเ่ หมาะสมเเกก่ ารเพาะปลกู ตน้ ข้าวหรอื พืชทมี มี ลู ค่า Once upon a time, there was a farmer village located on a bald hill. The soil conditions were not suitable for cultivating rice or valuable crops.

ชาวบา้ นจงึ ตดั สินใจทจี ะซือปยุ เคมกี บั นายทนุ โดยตดิ หนีกบั นายทนุ เอาไวก้ อ่ น 2 เเลว้ เมอื พวกเขามรี ายไดเ้ พียงพอ เขาจะชดใช้ให้นายทนุ ทหี ลงั The villagers decided to buy chemical fertilizers from the merchants by owing first then pay back later when they have enough earnings.

ตอ่ มานักวจิ ยั ดา้ นเกษตรกรรมไดเ้ ข้ามาทาํ วจิ ยั เเละพบวา่ 3 ดนิ บรเิ วณนันขาดสารอาหารอยา่ งมาก Later, an agricultural scientist conducted research and noticed that the soil was awfully malnourished.

เขาจงึ มคี วามตงั ใจทจี ะช่วยเหลอื ชาวบา้ นโดยการปรบั 4 คุณภาพดนิ ให้เหมาะสมเเกก่ ารเพาะปลกู มากขึน So, he decided to help the villagers by optimizing the soil quality for better cultivation.

เเตอ่ ยา่ งไรกต็ ามชาวบา้ นกลบั ตอ่ ตา้ นเเละไมใ่ ห้ความรว่ มมอื ใดๆเเกเ่ ขา However, the villagers opposed and refused any cooperation from him. 5

จนกระทงั วนั หนึงกลมุ่ นายทนุ ทชี าวบา้ นทาํ การค้าขายอยเู่ ปนประจาํ ได้ 6 เข้ามาข่มขู่ชาวบา้ นเเละยดึ ทรพั ยส์ ินชาวบา้ นไปจนหมด Until, one day, a group of merchants that the villagers regularly trade in, came and threatened the villagers and confiscated all of the villagers’ assets.

ชาวบา้ นเหลา่ นันรูส้ ึกเสียใจมาก จงึ ตดั สินใจทจี ะตอ่ ส้กู ลบั เเตไ่ มไ่ ดผ้ ล 7 เพราะฝงนายทนุ มอี าวธุ เตม็ มอื Those villagers were very hurt so they decided to fight back. However, it did not work because the merchant’s group had a full arm.

เมอื นักวจิ ยั เห็นดงั นันเขาจงึ ตดั สินใจทจี ะสอนชาวบา้ นทาํ ปยุ หมกั เเละ ปยุ อนิ ทรยี ต์ า่ งๆทสี ามารถทาํ ไดง้ า่ ยๆเเละไมต่ อ้ งใช้เงนิ มาก With the notice, a researcher decided to teach the villagers about how to make compost and organic fertilizers that could be done easily without spending a lot of money. 8

ในช่วงเเรกชาวบา้ นส่วนใหญ่ไมใ่ ห้ความสนใจมากนัก เพราะขันตอน มนั ซับซ้อนเเละยงุ่ ยากเมอื เทยี บกบั การใช้ปยุ เคมี During the early years, most of the villagers opposed the idea because the process was complicated and cumbersome compared to using chemical fertilizers. 9

เเตเ่ ขายงั ไมล่ ดละ จงึ จดั ตงั ศูนยก์ ารเรยี นรูเ้ กษตรกรรมขนาดยอ่ มขึนมา 10 เเละขอความช่วยเหลอื จากเพือนๆนักวจิ ยั ของเขา However, he still does not relent so he established a small agricultural learning center and asked for help from his fellow researchers.

Nonetheless, they are indomitable because they have a passion for what they do. 12

จนกระทงั นักวจิ ยั ทงั หมดไดพ้ ัฒนาสตู รปยุ อนิ ทรยี ข์ องพวกเขาไดส้ ําเรจ็ Eventually, the researchers successfully developed their organic fertilizer. 14

เมอื ชาวบา้ นไดใ้ ช้ปยุ ทนี ักวจิ ยั พัฒนาไดพ้ บวา่ พวกเขาสามารถปลกู 16 พืชพรรณทางเศรษฐกจิ ไดเ้ เละไดร้ บั ผลผลติ ทมี คี ุณภาพมากกวา่ ใช้สารเคมี When the villagers used the fertilizers that the researchers developed, they found out that they can grow economic crops and get more quality produce than using chemical fertilizers.

ชาวบา้ นจงึ เรมิ นําพืชผกั ทปี ลกู ไดไ้ ปขายในตลาดทอ้ งถินโดยใช้สโลเเกนวา่ 17 พืชของพวกเขาเปนพืชปลอดสารพิษ The villagers, therefore, began to trade their cultivated crops in local markets by utilizing the organic slogan.

Several media agencies came to interview the inside story of the success while helping with the business promotion. 20

หลงั จากนันชาวบา้ นกไ็ ดร้ บั ผลตอบรบั ทดี มี ากขึนจากผบู้ รโิ ภค พวกเขาจงึ มี เงนิ เพียงพอทปี ลดหนีกบั เจา้ หนี และกลายเปนหมบู่ า้ นตวั อยา่ ง After that, the villagers received more and more positive feedback from consumers. Hence, they have enough money to pay back their debts and become a model village 21
