I met once a month with other first year teachers at meetings led by Mr. Pyle. These meetings were greatly beneficial to my professional and personal development. Mr Pyle artfully organized these meetings to mirror what a successful classroom should look like. He implemented Lead4ward teaching strategies and had us work together. This allowed us to get to know one another and also share and compare our teaching experiences. As we worked through these Lead4ward teaching strategies, Mr. Pyle constantly shared advice about when, why, and how the strategies best worked for him. After watching Mr. Pyle’s demonstrations, I implemented many of these strategies into my lessons and saw immediate success with my students.
