Casey Pyle Letter of Recommendation May 30, 2023 Joshua Jones English Teacher Mary Carroll High School Corpus Christi I.S.D. [email protected] (361) 288-9011 This year was my first year teaching at Mary Carroll High School. I was assigned to Mr. Pyle’s mentor group. I met once a month with other first year teachers at meetings led by Mr. Pyle. These meetings were greatly beneficial to my professional and personal development. Mr Pyle artfully organized these meetings to mirror what a successful classroom should look like. He implemented Lead4ward teaching strategies and had us work together. This allowed us to get to know one another and also share and compare our teaching experiences. As we worked through these Lead4ward teaching strategies, Mr. Pyle constantly shared advice about when, why, and how the strategies best worked for him. After watching Mr. Pyle’s demonstrations, I implemented many of these strategies into my lessons and saw immediate success with my students. In addition to teaching strategies, Mr. Pyle also demonstrated a proficient technological skillset at the meetings. He taught me how to use different platforms to maintain an organized and efficient classroom and professional workspace. Mr. Pyle is knowledgeable, professional, and a joy to work with. He has great rapport with his students and coworkers. I am lucky to have had the chance to be his mentee this year and learn from an educational expert. I highly recommend him for the position of District Coordinator for Retention & Recruitment. Please reach out to me if any further information is required. Sincerely, Joshua Jones

CARROLL HIGH SCHOOL Elizabeth Villarreal | [email protected] June 1, 2023 To Whom It May Concern: I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Casey Pyle at Carroll High School during the 2023-2024 school year with the Corpus Christi Independent School District. As a first-year teacher, Mr. Pyle heavily contributed to my success and determination this school year. He served as my first-year teacher mentor and facilitator for new teachers at Carroll High School. When I attended the monthly meetings in his classroom, he always had a positive attitude and friendly personality. Mr. Pyle always had a slide presentation prepared to share with us and engaging Lead4ward strategies to try in our classroom. These strategies were quick, engaging and required very minimal prep. Throughout the entire year, he would do check-ins and I felt comfortable to go to him with any questions or concerns. Mr. Pyle wears many hats and positively influences the school culture at Carroll High School. He often sends out informational updates regarding news or technology tips and assistance. For example, at the beginning of the year, he shared how to update Canvas and upload grades directly to Canvas from the teacher gradebook. He truly has a passion for education, his students, and the overall school culture. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Mr. Casey Pyle for the position of District Coordinator for Retention and Recruitment. Mr. Pyle will be an extremely positive addition to your organization. If you need any additional information, feel free to contact me at telephone or by email at [email protected] anytime. Sincerely, Elizabeth Villarreal 4934 Lauren Dr, Corpus Christi, Tx, 78416 Cell Phone: 361-742-0235
