Northshore Families Helping Families (NFHF) mission is to provide individuals with disabilities the services, information, resources and support needed to enhance their independence, productivity and inclusion within our community. Northshore Families Helping Families was established in 1992. NFHF is the only family driven resource center that serves individuals with disabilities on the Northshore. Every staff member has a family member with a disability or is a self-advocate, and a majority of our board members must have a family member with a disability. Sponsorship Proposal Northshore Families Helping Families (NFHF) cordially invites you to participate as a Sponsor of our 2nd Annual Walk, Run & Roll - Celebrating Inclusion.The focus and goal of this 5K/1 Mile Fun Run for ALL Abilities, is to bring the community together to celebrate our children and adults with disabilities, special abilities and special needs. Together this event brings awareness for our extraordinary family members who thrive from the involvement of their community and surroundings. Walk, Run & Roll is designed as a fundraiser for NFHF so we may continue providing education, peer support; leadership, guidance and services to the five Florida Parishes. (Livingston, St. Helena, St.Tammany,Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes) Services provided by NFHF significantly impact the lives and the quality of life for all families and individuals we serve anually.The families and individuals we serve become part of the growing and strengthening family of our disabilities community— Families helping other Families. The grounds of Cate Square Park will have areas for sponsoring businesses to place tents and tables; providing you with the opportunity to connect with attendees and other community members participating in the Walk, Run & Roll. Food and drinks will be provided for participants and sponsors and for volunteers working a sponsored tent.
