MOHAMED IBRAHIM HOUSSEINAddress: Djibouti, Rep De DjiboutiMobile: 0025377-821-925/ 0025321-364-156Email: [email protected] / [email protected] Career ObjectiveBarely two years after the US Military came to Djibouti, I was one of the Local Nationalswho got recruited by KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root) and PAE (A Lockheed MartinCompany). Initially I worked for KRB Company in the Laundry section . I worked at thecounter and sometimes had the privilege of helping my supervisors while they were awayon vacation. So, during their absence, I was in charge of managing, monitoring, translatingand interpreting the work procedures and safety rules to the local workers. My shift wascomposed of 40 people with different tasks. Some of them were working at the Counters,small and big machine, Folding area and maintenance. It was my responsibility to makesure that everybody understands the rules and regulations of both the Camp's and theLaundry's policy.Seven months later, I attended the University of Nancy2 by distance learning and thengraduated with Bachelor Of Science Art and I majored English. In 2004, I applied a job atthe Department Of Education as an English teacher and taught English middle schools for6 years. And then the department changed my work location and sent me to CRIPEN(Research Centre of Information and Production of the National Education) where weused to edit academic text books and worked at my company simultaneously.In 2006 my contract with KBR ended and start doing interpreting services inside Djibouticity. In 2009, my business partner and I formulated an idea of coming up with a LinguistServices Company named Med-Zack LTD. And possibly about the time we started outestablishing our Linguist Services Company, the US Base , Camp Lemonier was seekingfor potential Linguist Services Companies in order to hire Local Nationals who are veryfluent and fairly spoke decent English. We were awarded with the first contract. OurServices Company recruited for a about 11 dynamic people that worked diligently with theUS Teams. We have been working with The US Teams, the Contract Office found ourcompany quite upright and we both worked together for five years. Teach the US Forces French Language. Work within the guidelines of the supervisor & adhere to the college rules and procedures. Tracking all classes for a period of 3 weeks. Put the learners in a situation of speaking the language. Provide them so many drills which help them to improve their languages. Help them to play the language during the class. Check the learners attendance during the class.April 2004 - July 2006KBR LaundryCamp LemonierDjibouti Position in the laundry as a Customer Service Representative.  DROP OFF SIDE:  Welcoming the customer.  Reception of dirty laundry.  Fill up the laundry ticket.  Making inventory the laundry (the language of communication is English).  PICK UP:  Taking the receipt from the customer.  Checking the day of dropping off.  Looking for his/her laundry bag in the shelf.  Greeting the customers and wish them a nice day.  Help sometimes the military to interpret  Help to serve the MWR services when they are short of workers. POSITION IN THE LAUNDRY AS A FOREMAN:  Assist Production Control Supervisor and Foreman by maintaining accountability and work.  Records of all Camp Laundry being issued in/out from the laundry customer.  Maintaining accountability of other Local National by tracking monitors.  Job performance, Organisation structure, and work hours.  Able to communicate to all customers (Military, DOD) and all other Foreign National (FN).  Ensure compliance enforcement of all duties in accordance with safety, health and environmental rules and regulation of the Camp Lemonier  Promotes teamwork and participate quality of improvement processes.  Work cooperatively with other department to meet objectives, MWR (towel) BILLETING (Linens), supply needs, and what is required to complete any given task or mission. 2

 To be active everyday.  Performs other duties as necessaryApril 2004 – up to nowPublic SchoolDjibouti Teach Djiboutian students English Languages. Plan each lesson before we get the class. A lesson plan of 1 hour will be a 2 hours class. Think about every hurdle of the lesson. Anticipate Students problems while preparing the lesson. Think about an interesting lesson instead of a boring one. Prepare them some tests to evaluate their levels. Teach many levels during a school year. Create them a workshop to emphasize more on the language. Final examination at the end of the school year precisely in June.
