ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW Shahi Skill Development, founded in 2013, began its journey by piloting its first center and project in Odisha under Ajeevika for the DDU-GKY initiative. With a vision to empower women and families, Shahi has established itself as a one-stop solution, addressing the need for skilled operators and employment opportunities. With a remarkable 70% female workforce, Shahi Skill Development has become a catalyst for women's empowerment. Partnering with various government and non- government projects, the organization has expanded its reach and impact, driving positive change in individuals and communities alike.

We offer hostel facilities near the workplace, ensuring convenience and a supportive living environment for our candidates. OUR SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES We provide training to women who come from underprivileged and low-income backgrounds without any charge. To achieve this we intend to close the skill gap in alignment with industry requirements to generate sustainable employment. Food for each stomach with a big learning appetite. Our residential training centers have a customized food menu for three meals a day which is a mix of vegetarian and non- vegetarian diets. The trainees are given adequate nutrients high in protein to achieve food security and improve nourishment. We provide support and access to services for expecting women and mothers to help manage their physical and emotional well-being. We prepare our candidates to navigate the workplace with soft skills to complement their technical skills 80% of the workforce in the garment sector are women.
