Who are we? AMD Environmental Ltd (previously Air Movement Design Ltd) over the last 25 years has gained an excellent reputation for providing very high standards of workmanship at competitive prices within the mechanical and electrical building services industries. At AMD Environmental we pride ourselves on providing our clients with the complete ‘Building Services’ package within the commercial, banking, critical facilities, retail, high end residential and public sectors. This encompasses the full mechanical, electrical, public health and sustainable energy facilities, from feasibility proposals through design to contract, installation and handover. We listen to our customers before designing and installing a complete package of technical building and support services. Historically AMD Environmental has been at the forefront of the banking and retail sectors, with a limited hand in the commercial sector; however, in July 2011 AMD teamed up with Marcus Sullivan and core members of his team to expand our client and project base. Marcus has taken the role of joint Managing Director along with Jon King. This has enabled us to provide a wider range of services to both our existing and new clients.
What do we do? We listen to our customers before providing a complete package of technical building and support services starting at concept design through construction and installation onto post completion. We also include aftercare service to maintain and monitor all of our installations, 24 hours a day, throughout the year – ensuring that the standards of all working environments are controlled and enhanced during their entire life cycle. This definition of a team more than reflects the people within AMD Environmental. In assembling the company, great attention has been afforded to creating one common culture. During each team member’s induction and as an ongoing process, we communicate the company’s core values and beliefs that support the ‘one team’ approach. The Project Manager is the focal point for the client, providing complete account management. Highly qualified technically, they plan the project, manage operatives, co‐ordinate with consultants and monitor quality. They are always available to the client. In addition, every project has a Company Director assigned to support the Project Manager in achieving their objectives.

United Airlines LoungeLoSDeenrvbeydrnoTrnen Ht CeallaCtehntrreow Airport Value: £700,000 Project Description: As part of the new Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport, AMD completed the installation of all mechanical and public health systems in the new flagship United Airlines passenger lounge.
5 Churchill PlaceLoSDeenrvbeydrnoTrnent Call Centre Value: £1.6m Project Description: This project involved installation of mechanical and electrical services to a Cat A fit out of levels 10 and 11 of 5 Churchill Place. The installation included a new high level bus bar system, lighting control system, fire alarm, four pipe FCU system with BMS controls and sprinkler system.
40 Gracechurch StreetLoDSeenrvbeydrnoTrnent Call Centre Value‐£400k Project Description: The project involved a Cat B mechanical and electrical fit out to an existing Cat A office space. Works included amendments and additions to existing fan coil units and ventilation system, new DX cooling to comms room, new plumbing services to staff room kitchen, new underfloor busbar and associated desk power. New feature LED lighting and amendments to existing, new CCTV, intruder and access control systems and alterations to the existing fire alarm system.
Red Lion CourtLoDSeenrvbeydrnoTrnent Call Centre Value‐£350k Project Description: A new dedicated reception area distribution board was installed. This was supplied from the existing ground floor power distribution board located within the electrical riser cupboard adjacent to the male WC. From this new DB all new lighting and power circuits were installed to serve the new reception area layout.
HSBC TowerLoDSeenrvbeydrnoTrnent Call Centre The project value was £400k and involved a restructure of an entire floor to allow more open working conditions for staff which included the modifications to existing services including, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, new lighting and power layouts, revisions and additions to ventilation including coordination and installation of new FAT boxes. The project was carried out in a 42 floor trading building with successful collaboration with in house maintenance teams whilst ensuring normal working conditions were not interrupted over a 14 week programme.
