MARATHON REPORT

APEEJAY SCHOOL MODEL TOWN, JALANDHAR 2022 DAY 1 Grand Opening with Zumba Session by Mr. Sunny from Decathelon. A fun filled session that sent the energy levels of the participants high.

DAY 2 AEROBICS Aerobics Session with Rajan Syal from Parindey Academy. The day started off to an exhilarating start with foot tapping music and loud cheers. Rajan Syal, the famous choreographer from Parindey Academy got the crowd into groove by pitching in. The participants enjoyed an hour of high energy aerobics to sweat out the tensions and release dopamine-the happy harmone.

DAY 2 KIDS FUN ZONE Kids Fun Zone sponsored by Decathelon. It was a field day for the kids of the town as they had fun exploring various sports equipment and activities. The special playing area for the kids was set up by Decathelon where kids could enjoy their time and have some fun sports activity like Speed ball, archery, dartboard, Mini table tennis, scooters, basketball etc.

DAY 3 BHANGRA Bhangra session by Balraj Khehra of MTV Roadies fame. The highly energetic group of ladies and kids were all sport when it came to dancing to Bhangra beats. The session was full of fun and fitness at the same time.

DAY 4 MARATHON The four-day event aimed at increasing the awareness about Fitness especially among women and children. Apeejay School Model Town Jalandhar in collaboration with Decathelon, Parindey, Fitness Freaks Gym, Hawk Riders cycling group, Ride to Roar women's cycling group and Skyriders witnessed an overwhelming response to the call for marathon. Participants were all enthusiastic about the 5 km run. The Principal Ms.Sinia Sajith gave token of appreciation to all collaborators. She said that at Apeejay, fitness has become a way of life and we wish to promote it. The Marathon was a huge success.
