Alexandra Mureșan conceptualizes the experience of time passing, more implicitly of material and spiritual transformation from the eld of her thematic pursuits. The explored material – glass – is a source of changes and interchanges. That, which is apparently distinguishable, has this time around the capacity through transposition to reect the image of a more sizable transformation of the inner self. ”Panta rei”, one of the conceptual sequences and a leitmotif of the glass assemble, illustrates the image of time passing through the world and traces left behind as a memory of this elapse. That what is left behind, the mechanical impact upon the material and optical impressions – transposition between material and light, which enables passage into the core of the material – are contingent in a great manner of the quality and permissibility of glass which undergoes the work process. What and how much is permitted to permeate through?
