And I adhere to it fervently. The world is changing quickly, and especially in the wake of the pandemic, we have become more aware of the interdependence of those around us. And for that reason, it is our responsibility to serve the public, particularly in the areas of Rotary's 7 focus areas that DRR. SHIVANI SHAH aim to forge global connections, enhance individual lives, and make the world a better place. Additionally, Rotary is emphatic that embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) must be a part of everything we do. That's what I follow as well. In RIY 22–23, it's one of my objectives. I strive diligently to foster an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels appreciated and a part of the team because I firmly think that everyone possesses both obvious and subtle attributes that makes them unique. THE PRESIDENT RTR.VANDIT MEHTA Vandit Mehta, Son of Haresh Mehta and Shivani Mehta took his first breath on 26th September 1994. He completed his schooling from Fatima Convent School and completed BCA from swami Sahajanand college of commerce and management. Mean while he found his passion for football and became a Football player. He played for Gujarat national team and represented university at national Level. He played for prestigious La Masia football academy 3rd division in Spain and is a professional football coach and analyst now and also owns a business by name “The Clod sports management associates”. VISION OF PRESIDENT Greetings Team, We all know the theme of this year, 'Hustle to Summit'. But what does that really mean? Yes, we need to put in the effort, timeless hard work, creative ideologies and many selfless services, first for ourselves, then for the club, and together for the community. I truly believe that community service is possible alongside professional development. Every activity we do for serving the public leads us a step closer to achieving the objective of making ourselves better. With such a powerful team of 24 dedicated board members, I'm sure we will surely reach the summit. When we do reach one, there'll be another waiting for us to conquer it. And we will! ACTIVITIES FOR MONTH OCTOBER SAHELI (SANITARY NAPKINS DISTRIBUTION) (1-10-2022) on 1st October 2022, We Rotaract Club of Bhavnagar Royal had distributed 1200 sanitary pads to girls/women in need, with the SNEHA foundation as it's a cause for the menstrual hygiene. MUSKAN ( TEA& BISCUITS DISTRIBUTION) (8-10-2022) Rotaract club of Bhavnagar royal on 8th October distributed cookies and tea in different wards of Sir-T hospital which are Radiology, Blood bank, baba ward and Gopnath Vibhag (gynec ward) including all nursing staff, doctors, ward boys &girls , security guards, patients, relatives Etc. MENTAL HEALTH WEBINAR (17-10-2022) Rotaract Club of Bhavnagar Royal collaborated with Rotaract Club of Junagadh for a webinar on Mental health. The speaker Dr. Soham Buch delivered an outstanding session explaining the importance of Self care and how it affects our lives. It catered more than 200 attendees and various other clubs were also involved as collaborating partners in the webinar. LETTERHEAD EXCHANGE (RC SURENDRANAGAR)(18-10-2022) On the day of 18th October 2022, Rtr.Harsh from Rotaract Club of Surendranagar visited Bhavnagar & Rotaract Club of Bhavnagar Royal grabbed the opportunity for a letterhead exchange with them. KHUSHIYON KI DIWALI ( BISCUIT DISTRIBUTION) (24-10-2022) On 24th of October Rotaract Club of Bhavnagar Royal took the opportunity and celebrated the United Nations day by distributing packages of biscuits to the needy children of the town and spread happiness among them. FUND RAISING PROJECT ( FATAKDA STALL)(14-10-2022 TO 24-10-2022) Rotary Firecracker Stall: This is one of the most ambitious and exciting project of the year for Rotary as well as Rotaract club of Bhavnagar royal. For years Rotaract club of Bhavnagar Royal has been collaborating with it’s parent rotary for this very project. We work hand in hand for this project. The project serves everyone an opportunity to know how to manage stocks, how to deal with people and also serves as a medium where Rotaractors can create stronger bonds with parent rotary. HAPPY STREET (13-11-2022) On 13th November Rotaract Club of Bhavnagar Royal managed a fun event called Happy Street. - an open event where people of all age group gathered together and played childhood games. - conducted zumba too - more than 10000 people participated FELLOWSHIP WITH PARENT ROTARY (13-11-2022) On 13th November Rotaract club of Bhavnagar royal had fun fellowship with Rotary club of Bhavnagar royal. Mr. Vinod malani sir black 2 degree belt holder (educator suraksha setu program by Gujarat government for self defence) well explained this session with fun. And after the session ends we distributed 5500 sanitary napkins too. FLAGSHIP PROJECT ICYE with Rotaract club of Ankleshwar Inter club youth exchange aka ICYE is one of the most exciting projects that happens between two Rotaract clubs. It gives you an opportunity to meet Rotaractors from other club, know their culture and make lifelong memories and bond with them. On 26th and 27th November, Rotaract club of Bhavnagar Royal hosted an inbound team of RAC Ankleshwar and also it happens to be the first ever ICYE of District 3060 for RIY 22-23. Rotaract Club of Bhavnagar Royal grabbed the opportunity for a fun fellowship and exchanged ideas for potential future collaborations and joint projects & spent the evening together. CHRISTMAS TRAILS (25TH TO 31ST DECEMBER 2022) Rotaract Club of Bhavnagar Royal Collaborated with Rotaract club of Pune zenith in their signature event Christmas trails where our club members had to complete 50,000 steps within the Christmas week and it will result in Donation of a nutritious meal to an underprivileged kid. FLAGSHIP PROJECT District 3060 took a great initiative on women empowerment and introduced project Saheli and promoting the same, Rotaract Club of Bhavnagar Royal took it to the new heights by creating a song dedicated to the project Saheli.
