Green was the silence, wet was the light, the month of June trembled like a butterfly. Summer vacation is a great chance that can cheer up our souls and refresh our minds. It’s a time that we all keep on waiting the whole year impatiently. After several working days, we all need a break. And summer vacation is the best break of the year. As parents are the first and the most important teacher for a child, we can encourage our child to participate in many educational activities at home and promote his/her quest to learn. Working together will not only help your child to build, learn and develop his/her skills but also strengthen your bond with him/her. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS  H.W has to be done in a very presentable way.  More usage of digital mode eg, ppts, word documents etc.  Subjects have been alloted roll no. wise, so check your roll no. and submit accordingly.  H.W of third language is to be done by all the students as per the language opted.  Students need to submit the work on MS Teams to their respective subject teachers.

Father’s Day is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June in most parts of the world. This year Father’s Day will be observed on 19 June 2022. The day is observed annually to recognise the contribution of fathers and their importance in the lives of their children. International Father’s Day is all about honouring the joys of fatherhood and the bond shared. In the light of above occasion, we would appreciate if the students send some pictures or videos \"SPENDING QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR FATHERS.\" YOGA AND MEDITATION Practicing yoga can provide kids with physical benefits such as strength and flexibility, but also improved emotional control and a boost of self-confidence. We would also love to see if the students of our school spare 10-15minutes of their day doing some Yogasanas at home. Also share some pictures of the same with their class incharges.

ENGLISH Prepare a video or ppt wearing your favorite Traditional Attire of either Haryana or Telangana and present its significance OR Write an email to your cousin describing him/her your favorite Festival either from Haryana/Telangana. MATHEMATICS Rangoli Designing:- Sankranthi is a harvest festival celebrated with great pomp in Telangana. This festival is celebrated for three days; the first day is Bhogi, the second is Sankranthi, and the last day is Kanuma. On Bhogi, people burn old things eliminating the negativity from their lives. The front area of the houses is beautifully decorated with colourful rangolis and gobbemma (dung balls). People wear new clothes and greet each other, offering respect to the harvest produced. Key Attraction: Beautiful rangolis in front of the houses.  Prepare a vlog describing different patterns, shapes, symmetry and mathematical relation in Rangoli designs.  Prepare Ch- Statistics and Probability for class presentation.

SCIENCE Identify the special traditional foods consumed on common festival days in Haryana and Telangana such as Diwali, Holi etc. and elaborate on the nutritional components of that food.  Prepare science toons or any creative way to show the presentation. “Science toonics is a new branch of science that deals with effective science communication by using a novel class of science cartoons called science toons.” Science toons are the cartoons, based on science. They not only make you smile and laugh but also provide information about new researches, subjects, data & concepts in a simple, understandable and interesting thought provoking way. SOCIAL SCIENCE PROJECT  Every student has to make one project on the following topic: Disaster Management  Objective: The overall objective of the project work is to help students gain an insight and pragmatic understanding of the theme. If required, students may go out for collecting data and use different primary and secondary resources to prepare the project. If possible, various forms of art may be integrated in the project work.  The distribution of marks over different aspects relating to Project Work is as follows: I.Content, accuracy and originality - 2 Marks II.Presentation and creativity - 2 Marks III.Viva - 1 Mark  A Summary Report should be prepared highlighting: objectives realized through individual work and group interactions; calendar of activities; innovative ideas generated in the process  The Project needs to be handwritten. ART INTEGRATED ACTIVITY  Prepare any item of your choice as a memory gift on any festival of Telangana or Haryana. ( Jute bag, cotton bag, shawl, pen stand etc.) Remember to prepare a time-lapse video while completing your activity. CLASS PRESENTATION  Prepare the topic -Drainage Ch3 geography for class presentation.

FRENCH  Research and make a PPT in French comparing Haryana/Telangana and Any state of France on (ANY ONE) of the following topics:  museums and monuments.  cuisine (food, cheese, wines etc.)  Fashion  famous personalities. Add pictures, animations to make it interesting. Be precise SANSKRIT ववद्याथी हररयाणा िथा िेलगं ाना के प्रमुख त्योहारों िथा पारंपररक पररधानों के बारे में एक शोध पत्र िसं ्कृ ि भाषा में िैयार करंेगंे। ग्रीष्मावकाश के बाद कक्षा में व्यक्तिगि रूप मंे अपने शोध कायय की प्रस्िुति देंगे।
