A YEAR IN REVIEW After a challenging year, we were ecstatic to kick off the new season and embrace the positive changes. We began with summer camp, where we prepared for the year through training, learning routines from the officers and many different choreographers, reacquainting with each other and getting to know our wonderful newbies. We also got to learn the ins out outs of the upcoming football season from our leaders and seniors. As many of these traditions were not able to take place the year before, it was very exciting to go back to some classic Star Stepper roots. Summertime was the perfect opportunity to get excited and prepared for a great year! Fall Fall fun began with a popular Star Stepper favorite, football season! As well as our half-time experience, we got the exciting opportunity to return to away games, pre-game activities, pep rallies (at Gupton Stadium for the first time!), Dance Department night, and homecoming festivities! Getting to welcome back Star Stepper Alumni at Alumni Tea was a tradition we greatly missed, and Star Steppers were well represented with three members on the Homecoming Court! Additionally, Fall marked the debut of our dazzling new uniforms. We loved cheering on the Rangers all season long!
Winter The most wonderful time of the year was upon us and we enjoyed preparing for Holiday Show with company dances taught by the officers, an opening routine, and our traditional finale, Jingle Bells. We celebrated a wonderful show with Progressive Dinner! Another exciting comeback this year was performing at basketball games! The Star Steppers also spent many hours preparing for our return to contest season, and concluded the winter with our self-hosted contest: Vista Ridge Dance Championship. It was a successful season to say the least! SSpprriinngg We kicked off spring with a bang: a trip to Hawaii! Through hiking Diamondhead, exploring beautiful Waikiki, going snorkeling in Turtle Canyon, learning about Pearl Harbor at the USS Missouri, enjoying Polynesian Cultural Center, taking a traditional hula dance class, and having a private dinner (and dance party) on the beach, we made endless lifelong memories in paradise. We spent the remainder of spring preparing for our spring show that is finally upon us: Good Vibes Only! We are so excited to show you what we have been working so hard towards and cannot wait to conclude an unforgettable year with a bang! Star Steppers 21-22 aLEX Urbancic Seniors! Getting to grow up with this group has been such an honor. You all move through life with such grace and determination and I couldn't be more inspired. Getting to experience all of life's ups and downs with you guys has been such a pleasure and I have loved every moment. Watchdogs, Arianna, We finally made it spring show! This may be our last performance As we finish up our time as together, but all of you have made this year one I'll never forget. You all Watchdogs, I just want to thank have been the best company I could have ever asked for. Thank you for you for being the best Service giving me something to look forward to every morning with all the great Officer and right-hand man to go morning talks. Also, by always pushing to do your best in practice. From through this year with. We lead us, downing Becca's brownies at 7:30 am to us rocking our Friday game our company with such grace and day accessories. The impact you all have made on my heart is one I can passion for both of us being only hope to repay. So let's make these last few days as crazy and fun as junior leaders, and I am forever the whole year has been.
